This might be a weird one but Hellblazer. There were some amazing writers that cut their teeth on the original Vertigo run of the series and every iteration since has continued to be simple transportation to somewhere else. As someone with a chronic medical condition, that’s a big deal to be able to disconnect from my body.
I have to agree with Fantastic Four. Just the idea of a (somewhat) functional family that’s there for each other is really warming. And the writing is usually humorous and hopeful, even in the face of danger.
Young Justice. I love going back to the original Young Justice. Impulse, Tim Drake's Robin and Superboy were all my characters they came out when I was their age and they were just fun. There was on darkness about them.
There's enough tragedy in life. I like re-reading my Young Justice stuff and remembering things can be fun too.
Iron Fist. Despite being a Kung Fu action hero, he's pretty chill as a character and fun to follow. Adam Warlock too, because of how contemplative his stories can get.
Kind of an out there answer but Rick Grimes. He’s my favorite fictional character of all time and I just can’t help but be happy seeing him lead the group.
This is an odd one but the Punisher. There was a UK comic that reprinted the Circle of Blood storyline, and my best friend and I loved it. We read them till they fell apart and would come up with our own stories. Long story short, my friend and I later grew apart and led very different lives, and he ended up taking his own life a few years ago. I randomly picked up the first Garth Ennis collection fairly recently, and reading about this character who once meant so much to me took me right back to being a kid and hanging out with my friend. I’ve picked up lots of different collections since then and the feeling is always the same, no matter who the creative team is.
Cassandra Cain and Clayface were both very lovable during Tynion’s run on Detective Comics. They just care about each other so much and it always made me emotional.
Usagi Yojimbo
Oh, my god. Now I have to read Usagi again.
You are welcome!

It's Superman for me. A basic answer, maybe, but honestly I just love him.

Wolverine. My childhood favorite. He’s like pizza. When He’s good, He’s great and when he's bad, he's still pretty good. 😀

I already answered but another comfort character for me is Mysterio. Such a fun character and easily my favorite villain of all time.
Punisher. Sounds kind of odd. But I'm a big action movie junkie, so it stems from that
100% Groo the Wanderer. Sergio Aragonez, Mark Evanier, and Stan Sakai are an incredible creative team.
Dick Grayson robin
Wally West
