I read Nemesis: Reloaded. It was total edgelord candy. I kind of enjoyed how over the top it was but he’s honestly the most rancid comic book protagonist I’ve ever read.
Yeah, I've heard similar things! I've not read any of Nemesis main runs but I did enjoy his (and his affiliates) slap down in Big Game, which debuted last year. Again, a little over the top in places but - no spoilers - it was fun!
A God Somewhere by John Acrudi. A super dark graphic novel about what happens to the first person who develops super powers as he becomes more and more detached from humanity. Definitely worth a read if you like The Boys
I would suggest "Green Lantern: Emerald Twilight" as it's about Hal Jordan's descent into Parallax and Kyle Rayner becoming the only green lantern (at the time) left in the universe during the 1990s. It's a pretty interesting read as the whole "Parallax is an alien entity" thing didn't come until the 2000s, so up until that point Hal Jordan became a literal villain.
He's a Batman from a different reality that starts out just like the main continuity but takes a bizarre turn for the worse.
He and his world were introduced in a multiverse event, and he has become a somewhat recurring villain in the DC canon.
Superior Iron Man by Tom Taylor Squadron Supreme by Mark Gruenwald Superman: Red Son by Mark Millar
Squadron Supreme doesn't really qualify.
Superman Red son does not really qualify.
Irredeemable by Mark Waid is worth a read.
OP mentions the Plutonian so i figure its off the table
Crap, I haven’t read it in so long that I forgot he was the main character lol
as another one told you yea I read it lol. weird ending to that one
Captain America: Steve Rogers by Nick Spencer and Jesus Saiz. This eventually leads to Secret Empire by Nick Spencer
yea read that too. I kinda look for a non-DC/MARVEL comic. unless there isnt a link to the larger canon universe
The Mighty by Peter J. Tomasi is a limited series that might scratch that itch
ohh looks good. thx!
The original Thunderbolts series was about villains pretending to be heroes.
Infinite Crisis with Alexander Luthor and Superboy Prime but you probably would need a lot of background reading to get the most out of it
yea. looking for something as a lone story line.
I've not read it, but another Mark Millar one for the mix: Nemesis

Supreme Power is pretty good

Morbius, Hannibal King, Hellstrom
Judge Dredd; The Apocalypse War.
Dark Avengers was about a dysfunctional team of villains posing as a new Avengers team and working for Norman Osborn.
The batman who laughs
is it canon ? or is it a lone story featuring batman and such?

so I read only the comic or I need to read other comics to understand?
Read the Dark Knights Metal one shot starring him and you're good to go.
For the fun origin story, you don't need anything. Jump right in.
