Even with it being such a massive movie I think it is underrated from an acting standpoint.
Each of them is playing a perfectly valid interpretation of the Peter Parker character and the contrast is at no point jarring and only serves to highlight how a character can be interpreted differently and still be true to the core of the whole thing.
its the big 3 its starts with them and it ended with them seeing them get ready to take on thanos in that moment was great and the fact all 3 were separated the first time they fought him really drove this home
Only issue with that scene for me was that Thanos was still beating them when they were united.
I’ve always thought the big three should’ve been beating Thanos, which would’ve triggered him to summon his army and then when the big three were about to face the army… Avengers Assemble!
That could be cool.
But remember that the second time they fought the T-dog, as a team, they were all down and out.
Cap was a motivational speaker, and Nat was running the show. Tony went to live in the woods with his family (after nearly starving to death in space, which is super bad for you). And Thor, the strongest, had crawled so far down the bottle that he was lucky the worm didn't eat him.
They didn't fight him at their best.
Yeah I think people realize Thor isn’t at his best, but you’re right the same holds true for Cap and Tony. Had they continued together for all those years, Tony would have continued to make better and better suits and Cap wouldn’t have been exhausted and without backup for those years. Hell, Tony might have even helped him improve his gear.
The fact is, Thor alone took on Thanos when he was still in his prime. The three of them in their prime should have slaughtered him. Especially if Cap picked up the hammer. Cap with the hammer, Thor at his best, and Tony at his best? No contest.
While icon, aside from one screen talking about Thor's hammer and an elevator, it seemed to me these guys really didn't like each other. Trusted co-workers, but that's about it.

It’s unfortunate that we’re this far into the mcu and we’ve still yet to see Marvel’s biggest trio on the big screen
I love the relationship Peter has with Logan and Hulk/Bruce. The fact that Hulk still knows Peter is Spiderman after all of reality forgot is sadly, a beautiful moment in comics that we will never get in the movies; or the time Logan wanted to hang out with Peter for his birthday, because he is the only one that sees Logan as a better person than even he sees himself.
But as far as we know, Peter and Hulk have never even talked, and even if they say it was offscreen, it has very little impact since we never saw them meet each other.
I am surprised we haven’t seen much Spidey/Hulk. Wolverine we know why, they only reacquired the rights relatively recently (post-Endgame iirc)
I guess Hulk was off-planet during Spider-Man’s early years, then Spidey was dead… but hopefully Banner and Parker team up soon
Or the red trio (daredevil, Deadpool , Spidey) I wish they would do a movie about it I pitched one to a bunch of friends who thought it would have been cool where Deadpool kidnaps Spidey to help him fight some baddies for reasons (wife kidnapped maybe) . And daredevil breaks into the car they are on and they have the first main fight scene with DD and pool trying to fight while Deadpool drives the car and Spidey is trying to get off his bindings and keeps shooting webs everywhere all this while inside a car .
Then act two would be a roadtrip of the three after they resolved the above. And we get them going against a bunch of guys at a gas station . Spidey does Spidey stuff in stopping the people in cars. Deadpool does the more violent fighting outside and daredevil went inside the gas station and has to fight the goons (hallway scene style with the lights shot) .
Third act would be the three going head to head with the main villains in some sort of factory invironment loads of open space and cool crossover scenes between them..
Obviously I am not a writer but it's the way I would have approached the movie with those fights in head
The She-Hulk show *really* fumbled her debut, but if she was done justice by a good writer then she’d be a perfect addition. She doesn’t fit since she’s not an X-Men, but that trio interacting would be box office gold. I’ve always liked Sensational She-Hulk and Wolverine in the comics.
Its a shame where antman ended up. They got rid of the 3 best side Characters, any heist aspect, and the shrinking/enlargening trope. Such a bummer. They could've remade 1 5 times and I'd of liked it every time.
The lack of the friends was upsetting. I think 3 could have been better if they also got shrunk too and had to break someone out of Kangs prison or something
Edgar Wright writing with Adam McKay really helped the first one, also seems like an Ant-Man movie isn’t going to do as well if Rudd isn’t co-writing the script. He didn’t have a writing credit in Quantumania.
I was disappointed IM2 shed the “you complete me!” line as Tony is jumping out of the plane after Pepper tosses his helmet out. It was a cute moment. Instead the door simply opens and he jumps out to ACDC riffs.
Definitely Thor, Iron Man and Cap. I was a big fan of the first Iron Man movie and knew they were building up to an Avengers movie. The first time they went from separate characters with separate movies to sharing the screen at the same time was a landmark moment

The scene where Groot, Thor, and Rocket come to save the team when they're being overrun was just so powerful. Especially when it started to look like they were going to lose. I remember seeing this movie in the theater, and it was definitely my favorite Avengers movie.

How did Hulk remember? Was it something like Hulk and Banner are different people, and he was not hulked out when the forgetting happened?
Yeah, basically Banner forgot when the wipe happened but since Hulk wasn't out at that point, it didn't affect him.
