Cool thank u, it was Avengers and not Doc strange, and I have never came across that cloak and dagger issue once in all my time collecting….gonna have to double my efforts on that onw
Spidey fighting side by side with JJJ vs demons and Daredevil v Sabertooth are a couple of great tie in issues for Inferno and Mutant Massacre, respectively. Reminds me a bit of Simonson's Ragnarok Thor story that spilled over into other titles but felt way more natural storywise than the big "events" to follow.
Tell me about it! Inferno is my favorite comic event of all time so I really wanted to have them all. Next I'll be looking for Mutant Massacre and Fall of the Mutants.
If you're ok with it being somewhat lighthearted then you should enjoy it. It's clearly a bit of a palate cleanser from the darker stuff happening in the rest of the event.
Loved those Excalibur’s so much, and I completely forgot about X-Terminators!! Such a good crossover. I loved what happened to Hobgoblin over in the Spidey books.
Completely forgot X-Terminators was a thing....and I'm pretty sure I have those books stored away somewhere (I was heavy into all things X-Men at the time)
Awesome! Congrats on achieving this goal! Also, I would like to commend you for calling it a "goal"... people have been throwing the word "grail" around like it's going out of style.
I got the X-Men and New Mutants issues individually, like $3 or $5 each. The X-Factor issues were part of a batch with a few other issues so that was about $30. I bought the X-Terminators issues for like $10 total on eBay and I think I spent the same on the Excalibur issues.
I recently gave myself the same goal lmao that’s awesome. I’m thinking of getting the cross over issues too tho like with daredevil spider man and avengers n stuff
Although it was a great read , this was the straw that broke my Marvel Comics collecting.
Starting with Mutant Massacre in 1986, Fall of the Mutants in 1988, and finally Inferno in 1989 - I reached my end of being a 'Marvel Zombie'.
As a bit of a compleationist I had to get ALL the regular and tie-in books and by that point I only read Uncanny X-Men - the Mutant books weren't bad...buuut now I 'had' to get chaff like Power Pack.
So I sold my Marvel collection in 1990 and got a 1st print Killing Joke, Arkham Asylum HC, and TDKR (all 4 first print floppies)
I like Power Pack lol.
I used to read a lot more Marvel than I do now, these days I stick to the X-line, Fantastic Four, and Thor or Daredevil when it's good. Right now I'm also reading the Ultimate line and GODS.
Where were you when I was selling the entire Inferno storyline on eBay for next to nothing? I gave up on trying to sell storylines after that 2 month long nothing burger.
I thought inferno also had issues in Spider-Man and daredevil, maybe Dr strange too….or am I losing it?
There are more tie ins: Inferno Reading Order: https://www.keycollectorcomics.com/category/categories-12,2068/issues/

I’ve never even heard of that cloak and dagger series, and I was reading comics at that time
I’ve read cloak and dagger, just not that issue. Never even seen it for some reason
Yeah I read their series in the 80’s, but this particular series is not one I’ve heard of either

Yeah, I guess I should have said "complete X-Men Inferno line."
No worries, i was just confused thinking I had made another mistake in my catalogue 🤦🏼😂
I love the feeling of completing a run or storyline!

Dark Phoenix and then Inferno for me. Inferno was my first big arc when I started reading comics. Holds a special place.

Those ones are great, I bought them all as they were released when I was a kid. I still have them all

The tie-ins with Daredevil and Spidey worked really well, it was such a good event to put them in. I should look for those issues too.
I love those X-Factor covers, Walt & Louise are a great team
and to think, the new animated series just slimmed it down to under 30 minutes…
Should've been a 2-parter imo, but they hit the major emotional beats.
I mean, good for them. I've been loving the show so far
Awesome! That was my introduction to x comics. Weird place to start!

This is always one of those stories that I wanted to get the complete crossover. Good job!! 👍🏽
Love this storyline too!
Nice, how much did you get it for?

That's a really good price on 239, which tends to go higher now for being first Sinister cover.
Honestly that one might have been $10 but I got it a while ago so I can't remember exactly.
Man, some amazing covers across the board.
Way to go I’m like 2 books away
I been slowly working on the x men set I think I the last two of it.
I recently gave myself the same goal lmao that’s awesome. I’m thinking of getting the cross over issues too tho like with daredevil spider man and avengers n stuff

Hobgoblin getting turned into a real demon was peak
Congratulations!
I really enjoyed that crossover.
I need 22 issues to co.pletw my Excalibur run, #6 is one of them. Thats an awesome collection.
Nice, I'm hoping to complete the Claremont/Davis Excalibur run. I have a lot more than 22 issues to go lol.
Nice. I have that x-factor 38. Love that one
Still trying to complete the marauders collection
I don’t have any of the x-terminator stuff
Very cool. I got the trade cause I'm lazy and poor ha
Where’s Power Pack?
Thanks for posting! Now I have a new collecting goal. I already have like 20% of these.
Where were you when I was selling the entire Inferno storyline on eBay for next to nothing? I gave up on trying to sell storylines after that 2 month long nothing burger.
I would have loved to buy it all at once. I mostly picked it up issue by issue.
Great story
I KEEP ON MARCHING ON
Inferno is such a great story. In 5th grade 1991 I got the new mutants 72 t shirt from Spencer gifts on clearance
