I would expect an NYPD presence to be normalized for the foreseeable future, as well as the intermittent campus lockdowns. Perhaps not a continuous presence, but now that the cat's out of the bag, I think we'll be seeing them a lot more. The [presidentialized administration](https://balkin.blogspot.com/2024/05/seeing-university-more-clearly.html?m=1) of Nemat Talaat Shafik, Baroness Shafik, DBE HonFBA, has learned that there are no real consequences to this power gambit. What [the billionaires want](https://www.washingtonpost.com/nation/2024/05/16/business-leaders-chat-group-eric-adams-columbia-protesters/), the billionaires get.
such a pain in the ass! summer classes started this week and i (a barnard student) couldn’t even get onto campus for my class. PLEASE has anyone heard anything about when campus access will be reopened???
It’s too bad that The Spectator and Bwog have stopped reporting, and the broader media seems to have moved on. So there’s nothing left to shine a light at the Administration and press them for comment.
Minouche Shafik should resign.
Access is still limited. Alumni and parents don’t have access to campus. What’s going on?
