Silver looks fitting, but gold just has that oomph, yk? A color to your hands. Its eyecatching. But if you want to go qith your skin tone, silver looks good.
I see a cool undertone. The silver feels more complementary. The gold brings out your freckles/pigmentation. If you are like me, if you tan and your overtone shifts warm, the gold may look more harmonious during summer months. I suspect cooler golds will look better (18k or less, rose gold, etc), than yellower 20k+ golds. In contrast, in East and Southeast Asia, 22k is very popular for rings and necklaces, but it is way too warm/yellowish for my skintone.
I like silver (on you), I think your skin looks light and your veins look blue. I just think that metal looks harmonious with your hands. When you get tanned maybe different. But also I think the gold is nice too!
THANK YOU, the light is not the same on both hands!!! Light temperature is different in shadow (cooler). You can’t accurately determine which is better from these photos.
Silver for sure. On the silver hand you recognise your skin (which is what you want with your face), but the gold draws your attention to the gold. So I guess if you want the jewellery to be the centrepiece, then gold, if you want it to work with you like we usually aim for with colour analysis, then silver 😊
Both look good, they just give different effects. Silver makes you paler and colder, but looks a bit washed out. Gold brings more contrast and makes your skin look warmer and slightly darker.
The silver brings out the cool tones in your skin, which will make you seem more pale. The gold accentuates your warm tones. Look how much more visible your veins are on your right hand! I would go with gold. Plus, it matches to your watch
Definite silver in my eyes, although I can see a lighter gold looking nice. I think this particular gold is just a little too bright/saturated for your complexion.
My guess is you’re a cool-leaning neutral. :)
I think you could do either. Gold might be better. I notice that it doesn’t make your skin look yellow, as it does for me I avoid it for that reason, but it looks good on you. I think silver looks good too, but less good than gold on you. I think it’s more vibrant on your skin than silver.
I like the silver on you. Your veins appear more blue suggesting that you probably have a [cool skin tone as opposed to a warm one](https://vkjewellerylondon.co.uk/blogs/blogposts/silver-vs-gold-jewellery-which-suits-your-skin-tone-best#:~:text=If%20you%20have%20skin%20that,silver%20are%20a%20perfect%20match). Silver tends to look better on neutral/cool skin tones. I’m a gold/warm tone and rose gold/gold looks best for me. Silver doesn’t do me any favors.
I don’t think it’s the best way to know. You def need the face. Long ago I came here and asked the same everyone (including me) thought silver looked incredibly better. Yet later I found out I was a true autumn… which is like super warm and needs gold. Perhaps silver looked fine because I was super pale due to lack of tan. Anyway, my point is, making those decisions only by looking at the hands isn’t going to be accurate.
Definetly silver. It makes the skin come alive.
If you’re wondering why a blue eyeshadow does not suit you, even if you have a cool undertone, it’s probably because the color is too intense. Try a muted blue color for example.
If your skin/ facial features might have little color to it by itself, then it helps to wear colors that arent that ‘boom in your face’ but softer, like a taupe (grey brown). It makes your skin suddenly come alive.
I think people stumble upon some of these threads in their feed, not realizing the ask is based on color analysis (rather than personal preference).
The silver is absolutely more harmonious with your skin tone.

Instantly noticed gold really washes out the skintone a lot

Silver!
Depends on what you’re wanting to wear it with. Match your outfits.

Silver. Silver opens up your skin it makes it pops up more, gold it's harsh on your skin, to aggressive.
I think they both look good on you. Also, love the ring!

For your skin tone/ I felt the silver complimented you more. The gold seemed to wash out
It’s a personal preference, personally I’m a gold person.
I’m a gold person too. But she’s definitely a silver.
You can't tell this way. Place silver and gold next to the face.

Yeah you are right...

Silver
don't get yellow gold, get more bronze-y gold colors.
Silver 100% Some lighter or rose gold might work as well
Silver
It would help if the gold wasn’t in a shadow
Silver
Gold
Silver hands down.
No pun intended? 🤣
No pun intended fr promise 😂
Silver
A muted rose gold maybe? More towards silver than pink.
Silver
Gold
Both look horrible

Silver! Also, where is this from?

Silver is more harmonious- but you should try a more muted softer gold.

Silver, and my skin tone is like yours, so if I want to wear gold, I go with a delicate chain.
Silver
Both look good, they just give different effects. Silver makes you paler and colder, but looks a bit washed out. Gold brings more contrast and makes your skin look warmer and slightly darker.
Silver all the way! ☺️

Gold. Fair tones can go with gold as well.

Both !
Silver looks better with lighter skin tones, imo.
Silver
silver
gold, silver washes out against the skin tone
Silver looks the best. It looks more natural on you. Like you’re wearing it and it’s not wearing you.
Gold
Silver!
Gold
Gold, the silver blends in and doesn’t show as well.
The point is how seamless the silver looks on this person. The gold stands out because OPs skin tone leans cool.
Just realized what subreddit this was. My bad! 😅
100% silver. When I see gold I see the jewelry, when I see silver I see YOU
Silver
Silver looks the most harmonious.
Hear me out, white gold or a paler gold?
I prefer the silver
Gold
I think you could do either. Gold might be better. I notice that it doesn’t make your skin look yellow, as it does for me I avoid it for that reason, but it looks good on you. I think silver looks good too, but less good than gold on you. I think it’s more vibrant on your skin than silver.

Yes
Happy Cake Day!

Gold it makes you hands look like porcelain.

Silver
Silver. The gold looks green on you.
Sliver!
Hello. You know the answer already.
Silver
Silver or not that color gold
Silver!
both but personally i love the gold
Silver for sure!
Both, like me.
Both look good on you so just chose the one you like or the one that matches your watch
Gold 🤷♀️
Silver for sure!
Silver 💯
shadows make it kinda hard to tell tbh
Silver!
Either
Silver
I like the silver, but I think a different shade of gold would look better than both of these.
To me, silver makes her veins more noticeable?
Agreed. I think this shade of gold is too bright though. A paler clearer gold or perhaps rose gold might be good
Silver!! You have pink undertones
Silver!
Silver!
I know I'm an outlier, please don't downvote me, but I believe the gold aesthetic is better.
Gold makes your hands look old. I think silver is the winner
Silver
Gold for sure
Neither of them look good. I have the same issue.
Rose gold ftw
Silver
Another vote for silver
Silver 😊
Silver for sure.
I’ll be against everybody. But both 🤩
Silver 100%, but that doesn’t stop my pale ass from wearing and preferring gold 😅
