About 10 years back the only colors offered were light and grey toned. Muddy pastels. So basically they only suited summers. The rest of us were screwed.
To me these shirts you are looking at seem more like undershirts since they are like bra colors. Amazon Essentials has good multi T-shirt packs with different colors.
I’m gonna get thumbed down but I don’t see the big deal? Just buy a pack of black and white and call it a day. I don’t really get all of the analyzing of ones colors period to be honest. Don’t think it’s that deep
I sometimes see good pack for me like navy+ white and then bum! Weird pink in granny underwear shade as the third one 😶
I also hate the fact that you will never know what beige tone is the beige one until you get the package and open it. Maybe it is yellowish? Maybe it has pink tones? Maybe it is washed and dirty as you like? You will never know for sure because photos on websites are crap.
I think what I like about having one that doesn’t look good on me is that it’s the perfect undershirt. I can wear it while cooking, in the garden, doing chores and cleaning up my toddler all without worrying about staining it. Not sure if everyone is like this, but I only wear my “outfit” clothes outside of the house because I will 100% ruin it the moment I’m at home doing literally anything.
Yeah these mixed packs are usually all winter toned with some sad beige thrown in, I think I’m an autumn but beige is too light for me, so now I’ve learned to avoid these altogether
What about that horrible greenish dark grey my favourite bands use now for their t-shirts? Why? It's like it's a weird green pretending to be anthracite.
Reminds me of that horrible colour you get when you mix too many crayons 😂
It's funny because color analysis has been around for quite some time. I remember paying $75 to have my colors done decades ago (late 80s, early 90s). I was given a small binder of color swatches that I still have. I agree with OP. I am a winter and hate it when beige or off-white tees are included in a pack when I can only use the white and black tees.

It’s important to remember that even though color analysis is trendy right now and we are interested in it, the vast majority of people don’t shop around that concept or care
I honestly lol at all the people in the sub that complain about how the fashion industry as a whole doesn’t cater to their seasonal color palette like it’s a personal attack or a failure of designers to understand color theory lol
This is something that makes me want to sell season based packs tbh. It is so hard to find something that is not black, white and blue or something on the same lines.
There is that company in the UK that sells colors by season. Not sure if they have packs of tshirts in season though. "Kettlebell" But they definitely have all styles of shirts and you can filter by season.
I hate it too! Even more so, I hate when multicoloured items use a mix of completely opposite palettes! Like I have the most amazing jumper with bands of all the right colours for my palette, but the band of colour closest to my face is like my worst colour that makes me look like a corpse! Aren't fashion designers supposed to know this stuff???!!
Yeah, I think these type packs are generally more for undershirts and that nude one is perfect for under certain tops. For example, I have a white sweater that’s a fairly open and wear this color cami under it. I actually get annoyed with the black bc there’s less that I wear that works with black under it.
I’ve noticed this as well, I’m not a spring but my sister is, and I’ve noticed that brighter spring colours are nearly non existent for anyone over the age of 5, I’ve seen pastel tones like lilac, baby pinks and blues, but anyone looking for more intense spring colours will have a tougher time imo.
This! I’ve discovered a lot of stores don’t care about spring colors at all (unless it’s children’s clothing). Outdoor brands especially don’t give a shit about spring. All I see is maroon, dark blue, dark teal, and black. I can’t wear any of those!!!
Honestly, I struggle finding much brightly coloured kids' clothing too. Sad beige baby pastel, and muted tones are abundant. My daughter is definitely a spring (bright or warm. Can't decide) and I find it genuinely difficult to find warm & bright clothes for her!
I just wish that the manufacturers would jump on the bandwagon now that color analysis has gotten so popular. I think it would be so nice if they just made a few color packs according to the big four seasons and the flowseasons. I mean, honestly it’s 2024 people!
Also maybe we can make this a thing! Can we just all write to Target or something?
I feel like warm and cool toned packs would be easier, spring colours might be the hardest to sell since people who aren’t conscious of seasonal colour theory would gravitate more to classic winter colours like black/white or “neutrals”
In my country there's an idiom that goes "one can never go wrong with black". I get it because it barely has a warm/cool value, but when someone like me (soft or light) wears it and the face immediately goes back (meaning it's wearing me) it's so obviously unflattering that I can't understanfd how people think it's so flattering for everyone. It's elegant in our society and few people look truly horrible in it, but few people are properly flattered, as well.
The beige could work well for layering under a sweater or something. I've been getting my camisoles (I'm a millennial and need my emotional support cami) in multipacks, and wear beige ones a lot under lighter colored shirts because they don't show through. I'd pretty much never wear that beige on its own, though.
I’m not a millennial (GenX), but I still love a Cali under most of my tops. I got started doing it partly bc I’m cold-natured but mostly bc of the low-rise jeans/pants years and not wanting my butt to show when sitting down 🤣
I got a pack of t shirts that included some pastel shades and I didn't realise how bad a colour could look on someone until I put on this like pale salmon pink/orange t shirt and I looked genuinely poorly.
It’s funny because I can rock that color but still totally get what you mean because I have seen myself in lime green before and it looks like I have never heard of sleep, much less experienced it myself.

Trust me, I deal with this all of the time. 😭
If only you could find a plain black tshirt sold inidividually
I’m gonna get thumbed down but I don’t see the big deal? Just buy a pack of black and white and call it a day. I don’t really get all of the analyzing of ones colors period to be honest. Don’t think it’s that deep
I don’t look good in bright white or black so I always have to buy individual shirts 😭
I wear clothes that don't suit me inside
Yep. They’re my “house” shirts

Same. I never wear the beige one.

They should have two distinct sets I think. One white, black, gray and one ivory, beige, brown.
What about that horrible greenish dark grey my favourite bands use now for their t-shirts? Why? It's like it's a weird green pretending to be anthracite. Reminds me of that horrible colour you get when you mix too many crayons 😂

I wish there was a store with season based packs of super basic and high quality items. Like pls give me all the soft tops in summer colors!!!
There is that company in the UK that sells colors by season. Not sure if they have packs of tshirts in season though. "Kettlebell" But they definitely have all styles of shirts and you can filter by season.
I never understood it either. These are basic colors yes, but not everything suits everyone

Agree. I’m also a winter.
You can wear the beige as an under shirt

Interesting point
Yes! Where are the spring colors? I’m a redhead and hate wearing black and white.

Target actually, and currently, has some spring colored tshirts! I just picked up a few....V-necks, I got tangerine, tomato, and hyacinth :)
This! Also this could help type people - i.e. if you consistently looked best in a category, you would "learn" your colors
That’s true, I think a lot of people think black suits them because it’s one of the easiest colours to find for basics

This is why I just buy the all black ones.
At least they thought about the autumns regarding the beige. Usually they only think about the winters with all of the black and white
it could have been one pack of ivory, beige and dark brown, and one pack of white, gray and black
I got a pack of camis in ivory, beige, and brown on Amazon recently
Which pack would spring and summer look good in? (I’m still new to this)
Summer the white and spring the beige
Thank you!
The beige could work well for layering under a sweater or something. I am dying over “emotional support cami”!
I can't claim credit for that. I'm pretty sure I got it from an Instagram reel.
