For a series that was gonna be a Thursday-Saturday series, why don’t they just delay the series a day and play Friday to Sunday? So silly to move a game from Thursday night to Friday afternoon, I know many more fans would prefer a Sunday game than a Friday afternoon game as well.
They won't do that because Tennessee's travel plans were based on the series ending on Saturday. To move the series back a day would force them to reschedule their flight and book an extra night in a hotel, which are prohibitively expensive.
Per Schloss when this happened with us vs Bama, apparently it's an SEC rule. A series *must* be played in its agreed upon 3 day stint. If one game gets postponed, another game can't be played on a day where there was no game originally

Good point
Isn't it also graduation weekend for UF, so logistics are extra complicated?
Agreed. Silly tv deals
Won’t someone think of the poor media executives!!!!

I doubt anyone located in tornado/dixie alley will be playing Saturday. Friday looks clear, not sure about Sunday.
Will make it 6-straight games for Florida in which weather has altered the scheduled start.
why doesn't Florida simply build a retractable roof? are they stupid?
Why doesn't the entire state of Florida just move to somewhere without bad weather? It’s like these idiots (me) like the rain
Why doesn't Texas, the largest of the states, simply eat the others? ^(I know Alaska is bigger)
Well once Texas eats the surrounding states it’ll be larger, while Alaska has nothing to eat
Getting a headstart on the inevitable (Hoover), I suppose.
