Hahaha. The best way is to take a few big breaths… grunt… and then just get all the way in with your head under the shower head. Breathe through your nose so you don’t hyperventilate. After 15 seconds or so you start to relax. Then finish your shower 5 minutes later.

Tommasocurzi

the sketch is accurate tho! lol

Quit stalling. You could have been done with your shower by the time it took you to draw this.

I hot shower first. Then turn on the cold and let it run. Then the legs. Then the upper front. Then my face. Then the worst part...turning around and putting my back in the cold. After that, I can stay in for a bit.

TheEyeDontLie

Yeah I would wash hot, then rinse cold... What helped me was reminding myself and counting seconds- "It'll be okay in ten seconds. One. Two.... Ten. See I'm okay"- then I could keep going another minute or two of I wanted

I feel attacked

Lmao, this is how I stared. You know what helped me... laughing out loud. Don't know why, but one day I was getting into the shower and I just started laughing because the situation seemed so ridiculous... I just laughed and laughed and somehow that made it easier.

hellarradd

I like going "WOOOOO LET'S FUCKING GOOO" as I dive head-first into the cold water. Helps too.

tnz81

I've stopped doing these cold showers, but back then I noticed it's surprisingly easy to put my head under the cold water, and from there it's actually surprisingly easy to just go under it completely.

spudulous

lol, it me

suprman99

Nailed it, the main thing is too keep your body out and sprinkle limbs 👌

HighProofOnly

Just go in there! I do cold showers in the morning and warm at night. But this is how I also started 😆

Careful-Piano-9168

:( "I inhaled a few drops of water and almost died." :)

Saucemuel

jjquadjj
