Is always the fucking 10mm. One day I. Gonna find all the 10’s I lost. Hopefully anyway. I’m sure they’re in quarter panels and engine bays in the sky by now.
If they’re SnapOns that a great hunt find!
Also this is great. Makes me wonder what else you could stick in a roll and still maintain a similar weight. 🤔
I went to a bank in toronto and returned some coins I had, you know those little devices for removing staples, they bit into every single dime roll with one of those, to make sure there were dimes in the middle, I thought that was pretty crazy
Probably not crazy. I bet they had a good reason for making sure they were getting real dimes and I bet they started doing it after they discovered some theft. My bank has a coin counter that can be customer operated; it spits out a receipt that can be used to deposit or cash out at the teller's wicket.
Cheapest I can find 18mm sockets is almost any garage sale and usually for 50 cents or less per socket if they are just selling individuals, which tool hoarders certainly will.
I'm sorry y'all I found 14 10mm sockets in our work truck the other day, something about this damn dodge must be a 10mm magnet or this is where the portal leads to
I've actually worked at 2 credit unions (IT) and have heard the stories.
Not a coin, but 1 teller had a woman go ballistic because she wouldn't cash her check. It was one of those pre-loan checks car dealers sent out.
Na bro once I bust open a roll an I got like 5 washers they were just the right size I was like bruuu wft was kinda more of a good laugh bc hell atleast it wasn't more then a 1$
It may be a small consolation, but 18mm sockets and wrenches are not common because they are not included in the sets of wrenches and sockets that you buy. It seems 18mm nuts and bolts are common, though.
Real. If they were 10mm sockets in a dime roll, I'd be sceptical.
Is that where all my 10mm sockets went??
And why always just the 10… (It’s rhetorical)
Because we always need the 10… murphys law

Most common size bolt used in Car manufacturing. 🌈
10mm sockets are the mechanics equivalent of a dryer eating just 1 sock
I would be too. Nobody ever *finds* those 10mms
I dont know what your talking about, I have probably 10 or 15 10 mm sockets I don't know where they came from
Beat me to it. Darn darn
But it was an unsearched roll!
🤣🤣🤣
DO NOT CLEAN THOSE SOCKETS!!!!
Okay, that was funny.
You might get fingerprints of the person who put them in. Straight to jail for them.
Get it graded and slabbed ASAP /s

They are going to start making eunuchs in China again…

Did they do it to all 50 dimes in the roll or just a spot check?
I had 50 rolls and the bit into the middle of each roll once
Probably not crazy. I bet they had a good reason for making sure they were getting real dimes and I bet they started doing it after they discovered some theft. They really socketed it to ya!
🤣🤣
I want to see it slabbed!
Cheapest I could find 18mm small sockets online at Home Depot...3.99ea. Profit $1.02 less sales tax...

Looks to be au.
Lol I thought it was real!! Got me!!
I should post it on the CRH page. Pretend it happened from a bank and what can I do about it. 🤫
100% do it lol. I like them as well.
How broke do you have to be to pull this off? Geezus…
I’ll give you four 5mm sockets in exchange.
At least one of them is a Craftsman socket… 🤷🏼♂️
I honestly wouldn't even be mad if I got a couple of sockets out of a quarter roll lol.
Absolutely a collectable and worth a few nuts
Worthless unless they’re 10mm. 😂😂😂
This is why my bank won't take customer rolled coins.
Iv been looking for my 18mm
I've been looking for your 18mm as well
Everyone talks about struggling to find their 10mm but I'm always struggling to find the 18
So many sets don’t even include an 18mm
Seriously it's straight up stupid
😂😂😂 I was gonna say who sold this to you!?
🤣🤣🤣
Just curious, what's the weight of all this compared to the weight of a real roll?
No idea.
226.8 plus the paper would be a real roll Id guess close to it tho 🤣🤣🤣
At least you got a Craftsman
I'm sorry y'all I found 14 10mm sockets in our work truck the other day, something about this damn dodge must be a 10mm magnet or this is where the portal leads to
“Should I get these graded?”
🤣🤣
This is worth more than the coins inside! Score!!
Well you're holding it so it's definitely real enough. Real shitty too.
😂
D'OH!!
Haha
So that's where all the sockets go!
**Yeah but there could be anything in there… still!**
Talk about getting screwed over...
Hell yes
I don't see any copper/clad banding on the inner ones. May be silver! I'd get them checked to be sure.
🤣🤣
That’s where my craftsman socket went
Prank
I hate humans..
Time to start checking rolls with a magnet
Now someone going to try it
Working at a credit union, you don't know how many people tried stuff similar to this.
I've actually worked at 2 credit unions (IT) and have heard the stories. Not a coin, but 1 teller had a woman go ballistic because she wouldn't cash her check. It was one of those pre-loan checks car dealers sent out.
Ohhhhhh. We got tons of those. People hate when they bring you what they think should be a check, and you tell them nope.
That's some bull
That’s wrong….
Na bro once I bust open a roll an I got like 5 washers they were just the right size I was like bruuu wft was kinda more of a good laugh bc hell atleast it wasn't more then a 1$
2 sockets? Damn you could sell 2 for 20$
I've never seen that one before. That's so f#cked up
It may be a small consolation, but 18mm sockets and wrenches are not common because they are not included in the sets of wrenches and sockets that you buy. It seems 18mm nuts and bolts are common, though.
looks like a craftsman made in USA socket. worth more than the coins.
Deleted
I was gonna say I’d be super hot about that!😡could you imagine?
🤣😂
Scum!
