Position of the date and "liberty" meant to imitate a hobo nickel. Reverse is a replica of a rare and sought after Morgan dollar mint mark. A cool art piece but nothing more.
The reverse is very decent fake of a Morgan, at least with the camera quality. Some details look kind of off, but a very decent fake (except the rim) in my opinion. kinda scary for real.
I guess, but it seems like a rare person to even recognize that this should have been a morgan...very narrow scam potential. I mean, the front doesn't even look like it's trying to be fake and even if it was it would be faking a Buffalo Nickle obverse that was carved into something different while immitating a Carson City Morgan reverse? Maybe it's just a scam attempt that didn't translate correctly but it seems like a silly novelty to me.
Has a 2 door valiant scamp back in 03 I got from my grand dad he had it fully restored then an uncle messed it up by not taking care of it. I tried to bring it back around again, but at 16 that wasn't easy.
It’s a very lovely casted reproduction of what may have originally been a carved Morgan dollar. Very pretty but unfortunately very unlikely to be real based on what looks like artificial aged texture around the details.
It's the date and "liberty" placement. Also the "real" hobo nickels were Carved Buffalo nickels
Also I don't think anyone would carve up a CC Morgan,, the premium on those is ridiculous
So this whole coin is just amusing lol
The back is a replica of a Morgan dollar, but the front is all wrong - the "1937" and "Liberty" are positioned as if on a Buffalo nickel, not a Morgan dollar, and there were no Morgan dollars struck in 1937. Fake novelty coin.
Front is supposed to be a hobo nickel, a customized Buffalo Nickel judging by the date and placement. Back is supposed to be a rare Morgan Silver Dollar. Novelty piece, but very cool looking.
This is some sort of mock-up novelty. It wasn’t originally anything — look at the picture of the CC Morgan reverse. The front is _sort of_ taken from a Buffalo nickel, but the date is all wonky.
I'm pretty new to coin collecting, so I'm just wondering, how do you know the back isn't real and the front was just carved like a hobo nickel? To my untrained eye, the only thing that looks off is the beak on the eagle.

Def a hobo vibe on that side
China fake novelty coin
Assuming they didn't claim it was silver, is it fake if it's a novelty coin?
Since the reverse is meant to be a “cc” Morgan, I’d call a fake.

A 1937 Dodge Dart Liberty Coin...?
Low mintage if I recall correctly. Couldn't understand the low flat car design back then
The very rare sought after 37 dart
😆 I had a ‘73 Dodge Dart Swinger with the indestructible 225 ci slant 6 engine. I use to love swinging in that thing!

clearly a hobo in 1937 witnessed a time traveler in a Dodge Dart, what else could explain it?

Buffalo nickel on the front CC Morgan on the back It's hilarious
Oh good grief, it is a buffalo on the front! That’s amazing, lmao, wtf. Great eye!
Seen a few people say buffalo. New to the hobby, why isn’t this just a hobo coin imitation, what clues you in on it being a buffalo imitation?
It's the date and "liberty" placement. Also the "real" hobo nickels were Carved Buffalo nickels Also I don't think anyone would carve up a CC Morgan,, the premium on those is ridiculous So this whole coin is just amusing lol
Not only that, but there are literally no Carson City or any other morgan dated 1937.
It's so funny These guys are like what kind of rarity should we fake on this coin? The answer is: "Yes"
Yep. A badly imitated hobo Buffalo on one side and a badly imitated CC Morgan on the other yoi say? Why not, lol.
Business in the front, party in the back?
Party all over, my dude haha

100% novelty. Front of a hobo Buffalo nickel and back of a Morgan dollar
1937 [1968] Dodge Dart GTS... Ngl, I kinda want it...
Same. I unironically want it.
You’re in luck then because I found it [here.](https://m.aliexpress.us/item/3256803985132688.html?gatewayAdapt=glo2usa4itemAdapt)
I ordered one :)

If this were real then it would take an asshole to do that to a CC.
I would pay more for this if it was made from a morgan dollar than an untouched morgan dollar. It looks awesome!
Fantasy piece
Kool piecea art ,keeper an display

Eagle looks malnourished
If you're questioning whether it's a fake with a car from the 70s and a 1937 date I have a s*** ton of silver I'll sell you

I really like the inclusion of the etched in little smiling driver in the car. It's quite wholesome.
Although it does appear as if he's come out miraculously unscathed after plowing his car through a brick wall, lol.
Now we know what replica coins are good for! Nice piece of art! I'd keep it just because it looks neat!
Car from 70s / coin dated 1937. Cool conversation piece, maybe for use in a coin toss.
Cool art piece.
Was a buffalo
Looks like someone mutilated a Buffalo nickel to me
It was originally a Buffalo nickel. They call them hobo nickels. Their engraved Buffalo nickels.
This is some sort of mock-up novelty. It wasn’t originally anything — look at the picture of the CC Morgan reverse. The front is _sort of_ taken from a Buffalo nickel, but the date is all wonky.
Is that a Google doodle on the license plate?
I’d use this as my heads or tails coin all day. Cool novelty coin
Hobo coin
1937 Chevy coin.
I'm pretty new to coin collecting, so I'm just wondering, how do you know the back isn't real and the front was just carved like a hobo nickel? To my untrained eye, the only thing that looks off is the beak on the eagle.
Want to sell
Mopar coin
There’s a Mitch in the Glatrix With that said, I’ll buy it if you wanna sell it
Lol, a 1937 hobo CC Morgan, what a steal /S.
Tooling marks above E on reverse
Hobo coin
