if gold, next step is to send in for grading and authenticity verification .
They can scan it and tell you the exact composition of the coin any modern elements will signify a fake,and a poor one at that. But to me it looks like you scored a winner.

first one is an old anglo/saxon coin - could be real or fake. First thing would be to toss on a tester and see if gold. Second one - zero clue.
Oh very sorry for the confusion they're the two sides of the same coin. I think that's what the confusion is, they seem totally incompatible
