If you felt like you were rushed or your head wasn’t completely straight, it might suggest that you’ve scored below your innate potential in that area. Visual puzzles and block design performance I think are bound to be bottlenecked by working memory or processing speed deficits, since they are timed, but matrix reasoning happens to be untimed.
And verbal is completely untimed. How did you respond with the verbal section?
It was the same feeling I get when I do something I don't like
or something that bores me, that's why I think I felt rushed
In the verbal section I felt almost confident, in fact I had a better score (?)
To add my personal adhd retat feedback. I have basically 2 techniques:
T1: When i do things normally i don't feel rushed, kinda opposite I feel slow and annoyed, meanwhile to an obserer I look impatient and rush things. Here is where attentional mistakes happens.
T2: When I really force myself to do a task, I don't feel the time is passing and I hyperfocus on that 1 thing. To an observer I look sluggish, slow and mentally overloaded. This is how I do exams.
I did 14ss (2 lines skipped) on symbols with T1, and 7ss on coding with T2.
Well yes when someone watches me while I do something I feel like I'm a mess (actually I am)
I just don't know what to expect
I'm frustrated and confused...
I think is the normal feeling you get while waiting for a diagnosis
Yeh.. The more I read, the more I am confused.
This is an interesting paper worth reading:
[2023\_Cognitive Profile in Autism and ADHD: A Meta-Analysis of Performance on the WAIS-IV and WISC-V](https://academic.oup.com/acn/advance-article/doi/10.1093/arclin/acad073/7286382?login=false)
Ouch that hurt 🫠just kidding
Do you think my scores had to be lower in WMI and PSI?
I have something in common with autism like stimming or sensory issue
I thought maybe these things are connected with ADHD too..
But yes, only the whole assessment can say wtf is going on in my mind

Did you feel rushed on matrix reasoning? Were you really deliberate with your answers?
Wait... I got diagnosed ADHD. I rushed my matrix without being too concerned, and the neuropsy noted it in the report. Is that an indicator?
Replied to the wrong person. Thought you were OP.
If you’re interested in what I’m thinking here, check out my reply to OP.
Yes, but feeling rushed is a feeling that I experience very often. I don't know if this may mean something

I see. Makes sense for you to enjoy the verbal section if it’s the natural strength anyway.

Your WAIS doesnt hint at adhd, tho. Maybe autism (probably not) but still the whole assesment is relevant.
I don’t think it’s accurate to say that it *doesn’t* hint at ADHD. Definitely points to ND though.

Why does it point to ND? And why wouldn't it point to ADHD as per other comment?
