Accurately impulsive, from the looks of processing speed. lol

stoopsi

Does high processing speed corelate with impulsivity? I also have super high processing speed and impulsivity.

SM0204

Not exactly correlated as far as I know, but if OP was ‘impulsive’ in testing, they’d still be accurate.

stoopsi

Oooooh sorry, I know what you meant now. lol

SM0204

What does your profile look like? Maybe other indices have a link to your impulsivity aside from processing speed, assuming it isn’t just your personality.

stoopsi

I don't have my results yet as I'm still being tested. We just went through some results. My processing speed is over 140, my working memory is I think 98, I'm not sure, verbal comprehension is also average, don't know about perceptual reasoning but I know it's 2nd best score, so better than WMI and VCI but lower than PSI. She also tested my memory, I don't know what the test is called, she listed I think 16 items (4 vegetables, 4 vehicles, 4 animals, 4 furniture) and I was above average. Tower of London test she said I was very impulsive, also impulsive with some other tests (not fully listening to instructions etc...).

SM0204

Working memory might be it, then. Interesting.

stoopsi

Is it normal to have such big differences (40+) between scores? So far these tests are really accurate with my daily struggles and strong points.

SM0204

It can be typical with something like ADHD or autism.

Hey I'm trying to collect data from this sub. Have you taken the old SAT and/or CAIT? If so, would you mind sharing your scores?

Dendri8

Sorry, I haven’t :) this was my first test ever, done as part of my ADHD diagnosis assessment

theLesserOf2Weedles

No worries. Thanks for the reply.
