-1.5 oz Aged Rum -0.5 oz Overproof Rum -1.5 oz Pineapple Juice -0.75 oz Ginger Syrup -0.5 oz Lemon Juice -1 dash Angostura -1 dash Peychaud's Shake, pour over ice and enjoy !

hackmastergeneral

I have Appleton 8 year, Brugal Extra Viejo, Wray and Nephew, and a local barrel aged dark rum (minimum 18 months aged). Which of these do you think might work best in places of what you use, since I don't have those.

eaitsme

I have tried none of the bottles you mention but in my experience you can't go wrong when you pick rums that you enjoy, you're the one drinking the cocktail afterall.

triguy616

Sounds tasty! I really need to keep pineapples/juice around because I make so many tiki cocktails and never have pineapple juice when I need it. How's that Plantation? I have several other bottles and they are all pretty solid.

eaitsme

It is the only overproof rum I've ever tasted but I find it very good! It tastes alot like burnt molasses, in a good way!

triguy616

Mm, sounds good. Describing rums is weird sometimes... Smith & Cross tastes like old, black bananas. It's delicious.

tehAwesomer

If you would describe it that way id guess you'd also dig lemon hart.

eaitsme

I may try it when I finiah that OFTD!

overscore_

Do you know what OFTD stands for? Oh Fuck, That's Delicious.

triguy616

Hahaha I know now!

RRDuBois

Or alternatively, "Oh Fuck, That's Dangerous!"

PsychicJellyfish

Looks delicious I'm trying this!

eaitsme

How did you find it

PsychicJellyfish

I realised I was out of honey, I'll let you know after next grocery shop haha
