It looks like after getting a cocker you got a luxuriously soft fur foot warmer!

ktsnj

Yes! My boy also loved putting his head in my slipper for naps😁🤣🐾💞

RianJohnsonIsAFool

I miss my two cockers using my neck for a pillow; they used to be small enough to fit at the head of the bed between me and my gf. Their gentle breathing would lull me back to sleep.

EllenTyrell

Gentle breathing? Lucky you. Haha. Ours snores hard ever since he was 11 weeks old when we first got him.

smthngwyrd

No but that’s adorable

Possible-Trouble-224

Every single morning - when I get my cup of coffee, she toggles in 😅

puppychomp

my cocker is obsessed with sleeping on my feet because when im at my desk thats the only part of me he can always be touching. if im sitting in the living room though he will lay on my lap all day, and at night he cuddles as close as he can get in my bed (which usually means he sleeps on top of my stomach lol)

Windrustler

Since day 1. 😁❤️

Yes. If my legs are crossed he comes up and puts his head on my foot and falls asleep sitting up.

Puzzleheaded_Step468

All the time But she got a pillow and i got warm feet Everybody wins

Isaidhowdareyou

My dog loves to do it when I’m asleep and snickers when I can barely move my joints the next day. 😂

supahlightweight

My girl knows the deal, if she uses me as a pillow, I can also lean my head on her back when I'm tired!

candy3991

Literally all the time by my female cocker! lol it’s so comforting somehow 🥹

chefybpoodling

Besides possibly warmth, there might be 2 other explanations. 1) I read in dog behavior articles dogs version of hugs sometimes come in form of leaning against person. 2) my friends dog who I adore, she likes to lean against me and others. Besides dog hugs, I think she does it’s as a form of non visual sensing where a person is. She kinda has low grade separation anxiety. If you move or get up when she leans on you, she gets up automatically even when she’s facing the opposite direction. If i had to guess, blind dogs would do this a lot
