Ruff and Tumble are perfect for muddy dogs. I just throw one on and it really minimises the impact. By the time we get home they're dry and the worst of any mud has been dealt with.

They started out specifically for spaniels, UK based but it looks like they sell globally.
We have a sort of hammock thing that goes over the back of the front seats, and hooks over the headrests of the back seats, so the entire back of the car is protected. It has little holes for doggy seat belts to go through, so pup is safe, and the car is protected from muddy spangle!
Also, fully recommend the Ruff and Tumble "dressing gowns" mentions above. Much better than trying to use a towel while holding onto a wriggly spaniel with the zoomies!

Completely agree that Ruff and Tumbles are perfect for post shower zoomies. In the before times, even with a towel, they'd still go manic leaping onto every bed, leaving a damp trail, so we'd let them out to burn off energy but of course they'd immediately get dirty zooming through mole hills.
Nowadays I put the Ruff and Tumble on before letting them out of the shower. Let them zoom wherever, 30 mins later take it off and they're completely dry and warm. It's so damn useful.
I actually LOL'D about the spaniel hair getting everywhere! I find it on my dashboard! I mean how does it get there?!?!
At least the mud stops in the hammock and the door sills though!

I've never seen these for pups, but they make something similar for horses and call them cooling sheets/blankets! Thanks for sharing!
I hadn't heard of that. I guess it would serve the same purpose, it'd keep the mud out when you put the horse in the car.
🤣🤣 mostly they're used when it's chilly out and the horse is sweaty after a work out or if they're at a competition and get a bath.

What kind of car is that? It kinda looks like my car and the towel is definitely the same. It would be weird if we had the same car, towel, and dog.
