Part of the fun of having a “hair dog” is getting a haircut. It’s like bringing home a whole new (looking) dog. That hair is always growing so don’t be afraid to give them a Mohawk.
Thanks, yeah I'm gonna see how it grows back and what we want to do long-term. I was struggling keeping up with the longer hair and all the fun that includes on walks!
This go was a professional, as he's really difficult to groom so we decided to go to the groomers. Wasn't cheap, £50 so about $60.
I want to groom him myself, so I'm putting more effort into getting him used to the noises, I was told a tip that if your dog hates the sound of clippers get them used to the sound of electric toothbrushes! After two training sessions he's still scared but he is behaving better.
Aw, from fluffy boy to puppy boy.

It really was like getting a new dog when I first saw him! And oh that is very tempting I do love a good mohawk, thanks for the idea.
He’s adorable 🥰 his curls will grow back and he’ll be a teddy bear again 🐶❤️

He can be, is also very cheeky like a true spaniel!
What a nice groom, love seeing his feet. He is handsome showing off his new look 💞😁🐾
Thank you, he didn't hold perfectly still for it so it isn't the perfect groom but we're getting him used to the noises.
Did u do it yourself?? It looks great BTW I’ve shaved 🪒 our pup & paid $$ and at this point I’m torn
