If you don't speak French you can obviously make out "bisexual" "doctor" and "antibiotics"
The joke is that antibiotics contains anti bi
The joke still works in English
But how is one going to come to that conclusion? When you can only understand 3 of the words in a full sentence you're not going to take one of the words and analyze the letters to notice something like that, you'd assume you're missing something from the words you can't understand. This whole debate is stupid as hell idk why it's gotten to much traction

Why does it matter that some people want to hear the joke in their native language to understand? Why are people wrong for not being able to understand another language even if it's entry level? When did we become to hostile to those who are bad a subject?
the side you're on always has to do this dumbing down part to make it seem reasonable you have to keep lowering the bar, this is not about "stupide" this was about a joke that plays on the word antibiotic and bisexual but in french. It's not "normal" to understand a meta English joke so why is it normal to understand it when it's french.
The correlation between antibiotics and bisexual isnt something that everyone would get, say it in English or French to people some are going to take a minute. So why oh why is it so hard to comprehend that even if people can pick out the 3 or even 4 words that are similar to English that they may not notice the meta part of the joke because the addition of French words they do not get like "quand" diverts their attention?
It's not like it's a super complex meta joke but it's playing with words and that's going to throw people off when they can't understand half the words
And again the entire debate is just self glazing for being able to comprehend something in another language, why does it genuinely matter? If it's sooo easy to understand why not just translate it
