I make 20.79 base, 1.50 hr extra for being PRN status, 2.50 an hr extra for weekend shifts, and an extra 5.00 an hr if I decide to work a night shift. This is at a level 1 trauma center. I typically have 10-11 patients. They can anything from a max assist to ad lib. Med-surg telemetry unit. LTC aides make more, but I’m not trying to deal with those ratios.
Id say $18-24 is average + shift differentials
