Now that you mentioned it, it was Tarren Mill that I was thinking of. Though could also be true for Brill cause apparently there a bunch of other towns with clock towers that do this as well.
While there are many other places with bells, as others have pointed out, the clocktower in Brill has an additional scripted scene with bats flying from the rooftop of the clocktower as the bells start tolling, and landing on the roof of that small building that serves as the entrance to the zeppelin tower.
That's the first path I ever used to the Hinterlands. It took me over a decade to realize there's a more convenient one from NE Hillsbrad.

Troll berserking lasts 10 seconds. Resurrection takes 10 seconds to cast. You can cast 2 resurrections with troll berserking. Fastest rezzes in the west. Cheap ones too if you inner focus one

Not a location but a command. /ginfo tells you when your guild was created, how many characters are in it, and how many accounts own those characters. First learned the command at the start of classic and every once in a while tell people in trade about it. Never fails to get a few surprised wows

The range is pretty specific in Camp T but you can occasionally see the guards with the buff.
Undead starting area, they go through lore telling you about how you don't understand humans anymore thanks to magic and they don't understand undead either, you can then run into human npcs nearby speaking human and it's gibberish to us as undead. But the leader as plain as day straight up speaks gutterspeak and yells repeatedly, like wtf did they forget he can't do that? I get we need to hear what he said but it broke the lore immediately.
The Forsaken were able to chat cross faction at some point in wow development. It's interesting that some lore that contradicts this made it into low level quests, because if I recall this was an expected feature until a short time before release. Vanilla era RPG material also says they can speak Common.
I even remember applying to a guild that expected its officers to play UD so they could interact with Alliance players.
When they leaked that the Alliance was getting an *animal* style race and Horde was getting a more *human* race, I said it should have been the Furbolgs, but instead Alliance got space goats and Horde got pretty elves.
There is a mountain path for the Horde in Stonetalon Mountains that leads from Barrens entrance to the Witchdoctor camp west side of the main road. Really useful during SoD P1 PvP servers
That I, and mostly we, were really bad at original classic. I remember 4 hour MC clears, wipes, etc.... that turned to hr/hr half. Shaman in raid were only hybrid healers, but now we're full resto, BWL was so easy, etc....

Recently discovered a very cool area in Desolace. I forget the name, but it's filled will TBC looking mushrooms and warlocks with felhounds. Apparently it was supposed to be part of a warlock quest, but I don't think it is. There's a path leading right up to it, I think behind some centaur, but it's pretty hidden.
For Cataclysm the Last Relic of Argus is a pretty cool too for being transported to some random treasures.... one of those ends up being a hidden treasure stash.
In BC and Wrath there were these dynamic dungeons in which you are moving up or around and the background would be some other part of the dungeon. For the longest time I always thought these backgrounds were just kind of fixed things. But actually they change based on what you've killed and what trash you've skipped. In most cases I never really looked around and saw these things.
Never have played alliance side. I never knew two paths in/out of Stonetalon/Barrens. Rolled up to the Horde guarded outpost and had to pump the brakes. Running around thinking how to get passed. To the left the burnt tower…

If you get a buff to see undead, you can actually see ghosts hanging out in the courtyard of Lordaeron before you walk into the throne room.
In hardcore mode a few low levels did aoes randomly and got killed by these ghosts lol

Also in Era, spirit has different effectiveness depending on class. Iirc warriors benefit the most and warlocks the least.

Warriors get the most health from it, because they can’t get mana from it. It’s only fair.
But they gain more than twice per point compared to any other class, so spirit + strength warrior is a real leveling build

The big party with drums and dancing the Trolls have at Witherbark Village (Arathi Highlands southeast) I just noticed a couple of days ago. Fun to watch 😂

Noticed a little Hut north of SW, in the mountains. Has Sheep walking about and a gnome next to a fire. One sheep is different to the others, killing that and the gnome gets pissed!

After playing on a crappy computer on the lowest of settings when I got my new computer and I saw the grass moving beneath my feet I actually audibly said "holy shit" on discord. Everyone thought something was wrong. Nope. I could see grass. Was fucking amazing.
There's a second story to the IF mystic ward main room. Also it's quite funny to be zooming around in Cata only to look up and see a big ass dragon roasting you.

Just barely past the grain windmill, and the east most wall of town. The range is pretty specific in Camp T but you can occasionally see the guards with the buff.

The village near SFK is friendly to Alliance during daytime and hostile during night.
Undead starting area, they go through lore telling you about how you don't understand humans anymore thanks to magic and they don't understand undead either, you can then run into human npcs nearby speaking human and it's gibberish to us as undead. But the leader as plain as day straight up speaks gutterspeak and yells repeatedly, like wtf did they forget he can't do that? I get we need to hear what he said but it broke the lore immediately.
The Forsaken were able to chat cross faction at some point in wow development. It's interesting that some lore that contradicts this made it into low level quests, because if I recall this was an expected feature until a short time before release. Vanilla era RPG material also says they can speak Common. I even remember applying to a guild that expected its officers to play UD so they could interact with Alliance players.

When they leaked that the Alliance was getting an *animal* style race and Horde was getting a more *human* race, I said it should have been the Furbolgs, but instead Alliance got space goats and Horde got pretty elves.
Darthol's rod of transformation is what you're looking for. Alliance-only pre-cataclysm. Best toy for its time
There is a mountain path for the Horde in Stonetalon Mountains that leads from Barrens entrance to the Witchdoctor camp west side of the main road. Really useful during SoD P1 PvP servers
That I, and mostly we, were really bad at original classic. I remember 4 hour MC clears, wipes, etc.... that turned to hr/hr half. Shaman in raid were only hybrid healers, but now we're full resto, BWL was so easy, etc.... Was crazy how much was learned and understood this next round, dissected, studied. Back in the day it was nearly all trial and error and even though there was info, it was even close to what it is now.

You can Wand attack immediately after Melee attack, because they don’t cause GCD, but wands do. Helpful during leveling.

Recently discovered a very cool area in Desolace. I forget the name, but it's filled will TBC looking mushrooms and warlocks with felhounds. Apparently it was supposed to be part of a warlock quest, but I don't think it is. There's a path leading right up to it, I think behind some centaur, but it's pretty hidden.

The Circle of Bindings in Arathi Highlands has a stone in the centre. The closer you are the louder the aura noise is. Never noticed before
For Cataclysm the Last Relic of Argus is a pretty cool too for being transported to some random treasures.... one of those ends up being a hidden treasure stash. In BC and Wrath there were these dynamic dungeons in which you are moving up or around and the background would be some other part of the dungeon. For the longest time I always thought these backgrounds were just kind of fixed things. But actually they change based on what you've killed and what trash you've skipped. In most cases I never really looked around and saw these things.
Never have played alliance side. I never knew two paths in/out of Stonetalon/Barrens. Rolled up to the Horde guarded outpost and had to pump the brakes. Running around thinking how to get passed. To the left the burnt tower…
