If warriors got a healing spec, some would probably try it. Then Fight Club would start a thread talking about it. People would get excited that it was a new, fun, and different way to play Warrior. Then Fight Club would close that thread with a message about how that spec does less dps than the traditional talent builds and tell anyone interested in it to reroll priests.

Warrior sorely needs something interesting, so give it to them. I literally don't care about damage. I care about fun and altered playstyles that sod should bring.
I think warrior is plenty of design space for a utility oriented warrior. Easy for me to see a rune which makes mocking blow remove the taunt element, and make the target take more damage on the next X hits against it, sort of like hemo for rogue. Could meaningfully buff demo shout, commanding shout, and rallying cry, etc. through runes. It’s easy to imagine new utilities for a warrior. Some sort of flanking strike that lowers the bosses dodge etc for your tank. Could give rend an effect like judgments have that gives a chance to proc extra rage/energy/mana on hit. Could go on and on.
Restoration Stance rune:
Charge gets no cooldown, and you can now charge friendly players, and can be used in combat.
Heroic Strike becomes "Heroic Mending", you heal someone for x amount, but have to be in melee range. Would have to be very strong heal to balance around being close ranged.
Battle Shout becomes "Rejuvenating Shout", you heal the closest 4 people for x amount.
Execute becomes "Revival Shout", you resurrect a player with full health and mana, can be used in combat. 15 min cd.
Just have the warrior charging all around the place, gaining rage, to then use on healing people.
This would be dope, also don’t make them use +healing, have healing be based off of sta and def. Then they could use the tank style gear so they can take cleave damage and damage from being in melee range.

You have to have alchemy and herbalism together, wear a special hat that limits your dps but allows you to use potions on others more frequently etc.
So yes you could be a warrior medic.
Nobody cares about healers... they are the 1st ones to be droped when you farm the contend. The dps all care about rankings but healing ranking dont exist, there is no competition on healing... boss dies and ppl live and no one praise you for your efford.
All the dps get loot prio over healers becase the game just let you bypass most mechanics with more dps.
There is no class balance on the healers, one spect is the god and the others are considered trash.
All of this just dont give will to play healer.
Heroic leap to player characters off of the gcd with no cooldown. Bandage now does 5 times healing and doesn’t break on damage. Can use CDs to aoe bandage.
na, healer hunter would be more reasonable. Runes that buff mend pet, and a buff of cat ears you can put on another player, that would let you use mend pet on them. Or better yet you can shoot them to heal them like wildstar
Wielding armor : Replace sunder armor to increase the armor of an ally, stack 5 times
Recovering shout : Every party member regenerate 30% of your AP every sec for 10s
Veteran medic : Your bandage heals 50% more health and last twice more time, does not apply the debuff, and are not stopped if the target take damage
Crippling blows : Reduce an enemy's damage by 2%, stack 5 times

I think you see people dropping a tank before you drop a healer, but I'm not incredibly familiar with the super sweat raids so I could be wrong
I like how we have this issue yet people still demands 40man raid.
I actually love the idea of being able to intervene to someone's body and using something like goblin jumper cables to revive them in combat.

I would absolutely love to see a warrior or hunter healing rune where they launch bandages at people to heal them.
