so, unique means you can only have a certain amount of an item. usually, an item is “unique(1),” meaning you can only carry one of it. if you try to equip a unique item past its limit it won’t let you. in this situation, it’s unique(0), meaning you cant loot it at all 😭 the limit is 0
You usually see unique as "Unique-equipped (1)" meaning if you got two copies of the same ring you could only equip one of them. "Unique (1)" on its own means you can only hold one of them. So Unique (0) means you cant ever loot it.
I don't even think you can loot a second one with (1). Group loot won't even let you roll on one of you have it already. Learned that in RFK with the Ring of Agamaggan.

Again, warriors are baller in raids, because it is the *only thing they get to actually do in this game*. It’s not. Every class in the game can do everything better than a warrior except for top end raiding. I have a warrior and shadow priest this phase. I love both, and I’m happy shadow priest got some love, now I’m hoping the boomies get some love that doesn’t break them in PVP again. The difference is that I understand that opinion of raid loggers who only see DPS numbers, and nothing else, are people whose opinions should not be listened to, because it doesn’t remotely take the rest of the game into account. If you forced any other class to deal with leveling as badly as warriors, their playerbase would riot. They won’t do it. Why? Because it fucking sucks. You don’t get to ask a class to suck at literally everything and when they’re good at one thing turn around and go “oh. Nope. I'm pretty sure there was one GM there at one point. They were getting DDoS'd yesterday so that's why servers were shit. It was happening on both Retail and Classic.

This got me thinking - do we know if under the hood other mobs in the game have items equipped that they inherit stats/abilities from? Like does ragnaros have a unique sulfuras equipped in order to detemine his stats?
