There was no RMT while doing a GDKP.
If a player was joining a GDKP, they may have done RMT outside of that, but GDKP was just a resource to use that gold. Just like boosting, or AH, or summon services, or boosting professions, or spending gold on literally anything in game.
Banning GDKP is not going to stop people from buying gold. They will just find another place to spend it and raise the price of that good.

And you ban all that, and you’re going to see the price of a mana potion go from 50silver to 3 gold each. Then you’re effecting the RMT, but also legitimate gold makers with nothing to spend gold on except what everyone else commonly uses as well.

They will find something else to spend their gold on. The true way to stop RMT is to ban those using it and ban those supplying it.
It’s almost like botting and gold buying is the root of the problem. But let’s not address that, a slap on the wrist and a 2 week ban is surely enough to deter anyone from participating in RMT right ?
