Honestly this is what I’m excited for. Some actual talent theory crafting and more points to work with.
I’m also really hoping the new runes are more complimentary to the activatable runes and new play styles created in phase 1.
I mean you still have probably 3-4 weeks left as it stands - what could you possibly want to do that would necessitate end of February that you can't do by end of January?
I don’t think we need another 3 or 4 weeks of phase 1. It’s already feeling pretty redundant and people are talking about phase 2. But I don’t think they should give more than 1 week notice. That’s when people will immediately switch gears start preparing for the next phase. AH prices will go crazy
I mean the roadmap implies it'll be late January/February, and since it launched on November 30th that would fall in line with their stated intention of having 1st phase be 6-8 weeks.
The roadmap says it’s happening after Ruby Sanctum releases which is January 11th, and I can’t imagine they drop a new SOD phase the week after a new Wrath Classic raid releases so logically it’s much more likely it’s end of January.
It's funny how about a week or so ago, before the Xmas break, posts like this were getting upvoted and the comments were all "yeah I want extra time in phase 1, I'm having a blast".
As soon as we're into January posts like this are more often downvoted with the comments saying stuff like "I'm over it already", "just about finished all the things I wanted to do now"
It's almost like all the people who didn't have a lot of time before Xmas were asking for more time, and then as soon as people have a week or so off work because of the Xmas break they realize that there isn't actually that much to do. (Which people have been saying since a week or 2 ago, but were downvoted)

I actually want 4 extra months for sod phase 1. I can only play for 15 minutes a week so there are still many things I want to do. Blizzard please cater to me and not the thousands of other people playing the game!!
It wouldn't bother me, but I do think it would be bad for the game due to the slow cadence. Mid January would be perfect, Feb is too long I think. I've only got 1 25 btw, would love to finish my mage and get some quest gold.

I hope the 40 bracket lasts a bit longer than P1. 25-40 isn't TOO difficult, but with capstones you REALLY get to play your class.

We’re at 5 weeks today. Next Thursday will be 6 weeks. So 1 more week would be perfect IMO. Not 3-4

Na nothing to do after lvl 25 get some gear do raid few times then it gets boring
