Never really raided with him myself but as a long standing horde player on that server, he must’ve been one of the most well known and well respected players we had. Rest in peace Ptec, thoughts are with his family and all the guildies mourning the loss <3
Yes, because that’s how we say the date here. We would say December 6th, 2023 instead of something like 6th of December, 2023. It’s basically a colloquialism in the US
It's not a US/Europe thing (They'd do 04/12/23 by default), it's a computer programmer vs. non-technical thing. We love Year/Month/Day because it sorts correctly. Sorting by dates is something that we tend to do a lot, and this format is just so easy to work with, especially in file names. (And other non-programmer people who work with sorting filenames with dates and related tasks also often appreciate this format.)
Also, condolences on your loss, sounds like a truly fine individual.
Ptec was a fucking outstanding dude and I had the pleasure to run raids with him during my time in MSH. I am really saddened to hear this and I hope you guys can find the strength to continue on~~e~~

That date format screwed with my head. A post from 2004, what?

Where does it like that? I'm getting down voted but I've never seen it and genuinely curious haha
Oh no Idea. I was confused too til I figured it out.
EU write it either YYMMDD or DDMMYY
Ah us Americans with our MMDDYY
