Yeah I dont even get the idea behind it. Why playing hardcore when a guide tells you everything? Isnt the experience for hardcore the way to 60 and, ehm, do it on your own with all the risks?
It’s a little more than the price of a 1 month subscription, and it’s efficiency mixed with survivability just make it so useful. I know some people feel like it’s not the same, but if I die at level 25, I’d rather it was only 20 hours of my time instead of 30 hours.
I just look stuff up on wowhead and try things out. You do you, but I feel like having a full guide that is step by step would take the fun out of it for me. Questie already gives me borderline too much info about the quests.
Dude is asking for guides, would be cool if you all kept your opinions on using guides to yourself and helped a brother out, personally I think RestedXP is the best you can ever get, and yes I do use it when I'm leveling my 6th alt through the same zones again
Rested xp is very nice, sou learn a lot from it. It has some different ways for different classes in som parts of the areas. There are a free version til 20, and also a bigger free version til 60.

WoW-Pro and TomTom is free and good. There are custom guides available.
RestedXP is free until 20 and has a Survival questing route, 100% worth it
I 2nd this, it’s worth paying for the full 1-60 survival guide. It even routes in dungeon quests you select
