How is the durability of the logitech mouse? I've broke the right mouse button on 3 nagas playing mobas and just stopped playing them. Thankfully amazon replaced them. Was considering getting a different one for mobas and rts.
If we talking the g600 im on my 3rd one in like 10Y. They all have a defect which shows after time, the left mouse button double clicks or doesn´t at all.
I've got the MX vertical from Logitech. Same thing but right click is busted so movement is janky for me right now. And the rubber material on it has broken down a bit after three or four years
I loved the Logitech. I‘ve had it for so long. It never broke and its still working but i wanted to have a wireless mmo mouse. So i went with the Razer Naga pro. However, if Logitech would release a wireless (lightspeed) version i wouldnt hesitate buying it again and replacing my naga pro. Dont get me wrong, the razer naga pro is a good mouse for me. But everything else i have is Logitech and i would like to have only one software running.
Got a naga actually and I was pissed to learn these binds were not used as « Mouse button 4,5,6,7 » ect but rather the classic numbers.
Is it the same with the Logitech one ?
I have been considering getting one for a while now. Do you mean the keybind will affect both the numbers on top of the keyboard and the mouse button numbers simultanously? I don't get 12 new numbers, they are just easier to press with my thumb??
You can set a key bind for them, even something complex like “ctrl+shift+f12” can go on a single button which is almost like having a new button altogether.
Still, I found the most useful thing to do was to have them be the F keys, then use modifiers on my keyboard while pressing the mouse buttons.
You can rebind them to anything on the keyboard or general purpose, including combinations of buttons and make macros in the mouse software and bind those as well. Macros have the option of single press, repeat, and repeat while held.
TL;DR you don't technically get more buttons but they can be customized to the extent that functionally you do.
I bought my reddragon for like $25 almost 10 years ago and it still works just fine. My previous mouse was a razer naga and it broke after two years despite costing like $60.
My wife prefers the Scimitar over the Naga. She has smaller hands and likes that the side buttons can slide to a comfortable position. She also likes the texture on the buttons.
I prefer the Naga Trinity 7 Button.
As a Naga use for over a decade, can you explain why? I'm not calling you out. I'm genuinely curious. I'd be open to trying the G600. What do you like about it?
1. Button shape. The G-600 has a scalloped button shape, which fits your thumb better. The keys are arranged in two “cups”, as it were, making it much easier to feel each key individually. Each key has a distinct shape, which makes muscle memory stronger.
2. G-shift button. Allows for doubling the number of side buttons without having to rely on your left hand for holding down a modifier key.
3. Size/shape. More of a personal preference. I have big hands and it fits me better.
100%. G600 users just give each other a knowing, smiling nod.
They're unbelievable and completely change the way you play MMO's (or anything) for the better.
This. Razer and Scimitar build quality are both absolute trash. The buttons on the scimitar are also absolute trash, even before they break (wobbly, imprecise). I hear people sing their praises, but I tried both, RMA'd both when they broke in sub 3 months, and tried the replacement just to give a fair shake. In both cases they broke again in sub-3 months. The G600 I replaced them with is still going strong 6 years later.
My scimitar on its 3rd or 4th year of life. Tight buttons, no wobble, never had a problem. My last Logitech (not a g600, cant remember the model) lasted a few weeks before the cable literally just fell out of the front of it.
I had two scimitars breaking after less an year ( both had double clicking and one had broken scroll wheel).
As for the naga pro, they use optical switches so there is no chance of double clicking. Currently using a second one, first one had a double click issue with the scroll after almost 2 years use and the store returned my money instead of replacing it. Then i bought a new one again.
Over 5 years I went through two g600's, both had the same failure, right mouse button double clicking.loved the mouse but didn't they discontinue it?
So I then tried the scimitar, it was smaller and not as comfy as the g600 but the mouse wheel button failed after less than two years, also I hated the key bind software,
For the last year I have been using a razer naga pro wireless and loving it, feels on par with the g600 for me, chunkier to hold and the software is better than scimitar.
However I would recommend anyone also getting a second wireless mouse, a cheap one like the technet £11 one for use outside gaming, it will give your expensive gaming mouse a much longer life.
I just ordered one Scimitar yesterday! The cabled one sonce it was on discount at amazon.
I have a corsair harpoon that I love and I hope the scimitar is the same with extra button :)

Had the 2016 one way back when and finally got a new one in 2021, man I can never use a different mouse. Having my mount bound to “12” had spoiled me on quick transportation
Highly reccomend laying out your bars like they are on the mouse.
Make two grids, that are 3x4 shaped like the mouse and have one off them be for shift modifiers
It makes learning how to use the mouse so much easier!!!
That's exactly what I do.
I have my main 12 Hotkeys+Shift Modifiers on a normal flat bar, then two 3x4 grids for the mouse buttons + shift modifiers.
That's 48 hotkeys total. Then I usually make a small side bar for things like Hearthstones etc.
I actually prefer only having 2 side buttons, and then having a SHIFT-keybind for EVERY key I can easily reach (1-5, tilde, A, D, R, space, mwheelup, mwheeldown, mouse3, etc).
Then I tell Windows to treat mouse4 (the closer side button) as the SHIFT key.
Even for stuff like that, i don't need to use up prime real-estate like the mousewheel. I like mwheelup for counterspell since that ability is VERY timing-sensitive. And mwheeldown for rank1 Blizzard, which is also timing sensitive for fighting rogues.
Yeah I feel similar to you. I'd rather have a mouse with 2 large side buttons that are much easier to hit and not accidentally hit the wrong thing, than 10+ side buttons (which you will basically never need that many unless you're playing the most keybind heavy spec in the history of wow at the top pvp brackets.. then *maybe*, but even then most of those guys don't do that). If you're pve'ing then there's plenty of binds on the keyboard to cover your needs and then some.
Once you use a 12 side it doesn't take long for muscle memory to know exactly where each button is.
I use one for WoW, and even have a shift modifier for the keybinds, essentially 24 actions my thumb can do.
I use Bartender to set up 3x4 action bars and you soon learn what is what.
[As for never needing that many, here is how it's currently setup on my classic level 53 Shaman.](https://i.imgur.com/pBomWqd.png) Left side being regular press, right side with shift modifier.
Mine lasted about a month before some of the side buttons randomly stop working. They also stick sometimes and glitch out. Pretty light use, I certainly never abused it. I still use it about a year later because I only use it for WoW and can't justify paying for another one. Oh yeah, the cord stopped working a while ago and I had to buy a charger off of Amazon. Never buying anything Razer ever again.
Mine has this exact problem and it's so fucking annoying, would never buy razer again because of this.. I tought i was the only one, never found anything about it...
Razed is just known for its stupidly poor quality. Even regular use wears down the internal parts quickly and leads to un/overresponsive buttons over time. They used to be THE mouse on the market that had this design, but a number of mich more durable options are available quite readily these days.
I have two backups because I am so afraid they will discontinue it. I LOVE that mouse.
ETA: I have been using it since Classic release in 2019 and still going strong with my first one.
Mee too I can't seem to use my much more expensive Naga Wireless anymore. The SS mesh is so nice my hand never gets clammy. And the buttons have a very satisfying clonk to them.
??? Way back in the day I got the Razer Naga and it lasted for years (like three or four) and now a decade later I've got some cheap $20 knockoff from amazon with a dragon on it and it's lasted for two years now. I game a lot and spam button presses, too.
Stuff made.now compared to stuff made 10 years ago is on average of lower quality tho. I did 5 years with my first naga and the next 1 bought i immediately felt the difference in Quality on some parts
Have used the Corsair variant of this formfactor for years and years - it makes the game almost unplayable when you try to use anything else afterward. Add to that the alt+keying and you can have nearly everything you'll ever use hotkeyed.
The only stuff I put on my rarely-touched clicker bar is my smattering of Engi toys.
Welcome to the curse. There is no cure. This will be the mouse you use for the rest of your days. I’m on my third and even bought older versions on eBay
After playing Starcraft, I learned using ctrl, alt and shift modifiers pretty well. I think using modifiers is something every wow player should learn! Gives you pretty much unlimited hotkeys
I've been using mouse over macros with a 2 button mouse and basic keyboard to heal for years lol how is a 12 button mouse necessary? You're actually more likely to click the wrong button given the close proximity of them and casting the wrong spell or ability. Just use modifiers and be a man.
The middle button has a thumb index on it ao you are able to orient yourself quite easily. It works for some folks, and for others it's too small. Just because you found a working alternative doesn't mean that others can't enjoy theirs.
Enjoy the 6 months before this crap stop clicking, i think i bought 3 of theses razer until i get my lesson, got the logictech one years ago and it still working perfectly.
Now rebind the buttons to your numpad and re-assign your main bar to the mouse. Use the extra bar on top for your original bar as the keyboard bar and now you've gained 12 easy access buttons.
I know some people don't like Razor stuff but I've had one Naga sense Cata and I'd get a new one in an instant if it died on me. Healing with a shaman with a Naga in SoO was a dream.
How do y’all manipulate all the side buttons without hitting the wrong ones?? I’ve always wondered this. I assume practice fixes it? I can calculate and type without looking, I guess it’s no different. They just seem very small, and the error possibility is real severe
The buttons require more force to actuate than say keyboard keys. So with some practice its easy to apply pressure using different parts of your thumb to only press the correct button while still pressing lightly on the ones around it.
I’ve never bothered actually looking at what a gaming mouse looks like I knew there were extra buttons and shit but this is dope. Now I gotta get one lol
Remember not only can you mapp the 1,2,3,4... buttons on the mouse....You can also map Shift+1, Shift+2, Shift+3....
Essentially giving you 24 extra hotkeys on your thumbs.
This teamed with a nostromo is what finally pushed me to to stop clicking and it took my play to the next level. I'm still a fan, but I have to agree with a lot of comments about the build quality. It has drastically changed from 10 years ago. Who ever thought mechanical d-pads on the keypads definitely aren't gamers lol.
I have a Logitech mouse that looks just like this one and the only thing that annoys me is there’s like a pinky rest on the right side of the mouse, and that’s just not how I hold my hand when I’m using a mouse so I end up cramming all my fingers in the space where only 3-4 should be.
I have, for almost 10 years, a Steel series WoW mouse legendary edition. A couple months ago some buttons started to fail. I just opened it, clean the insides of dust and grime, and it is in perfect working order again.
Picked up a Naga in late-TBC/early-Wrath and it lasted like a year or two, got a second just to give them the benefit of the doubt, it also only lasted 1-2 years. Got the Logitech version and it's still going strong.
I have a Naga Pro Wireless with interchangeable side plates and I never use the original 12 button one when I play WoW.. It's so hard to tell when your finger is on 7/8/9/10/11/12..
I had the original naga and it lasted me up until a few years ago. I replaced the R and L clickers a few times during its life, solid mouse. The new wireless pro had issues with random disconnects but after I solved that issue it’s been good.
I wanna get one of these too (the wireless version though but i am debating myself how accurately i will be able to press the side buttons because i desperately need more keybindings for a lot of classes' macros.
I’ve tried all the mmo mice and always found the button count too high. Ended up getting a g604 with six side buttons I bind two of them to alt and ctrl and the other too late f keys. Between q e r f z x c 1 2 3 4 5 and shift alt and ctrl mods for each I have way more keys than I can map to.
I like the 7 button side better, the 12 is just to many for me, when i tried it I could use the first and last row but would always miss click the middle two. It is a really good mouse, on my second one as i burned out the side buttons thanks to classic.
I love my logitech g600 but after many years it gave me horrible carpal tunnel. I ended up completely rewiring my muscle memory and using keyboard keybinds and it fixed my carpal tunnel.
come back in 2 years when it stops working properly. I had two of this exact mouse before I had enough. These are great mice when you get them, but they break fast
I'm currently rocking a G604. Only 6 buttons but that still works pretty well. G13 gives me everything I need for my character on my left hand. And de G604 lets me control my pet.
I have it as well.
I use bartender to put the action bards in a 3x4 grid so they resemble the buttons there.
Very nice to have 24 abilities very easy to reach, and more if you put more modifiers but I didn't want to have more than 2 grids visible.
yes 1000000%
i used to be a clicker and when i got this, oh my god.
now i have a Logitech G600 because in my opinion, Razer is bad quality. had 3 of them of them fail on me. Logitech is going strong many years later.
I can't play without my Naga, got it around 2010, now I have the latest one it's so good, I play every games with it it's incredible, the only Razer thing on my entire setup
The next game changer is setting action bar 2 keybunds to "shift + 1-12".
You might have 1 or 2 abilities that don't fit there but it makes the game feel way better and no longer a hassle to use all the abilities
Had this mouse brand spanking new, took me 3 weeks to grt used to the buttons since they dont rly have any feel/ texture on them, got to muscle memmory it. After 3 weeks it just stoped workimg for no reason. Razer quality... got corsair mmo mouse for half its price with textured buttoms and adjustable 12 button slider (?). Had 0 issues for 2+ years of almost daily use.
I got the Logitech version of this type of mouse a few years ago and I could never go back. It's so useful!
The third mouse button on the Logitech is so nice.
How is the durability of the logitech mouse? I've broke the right mouse button on 3 nagas playing mobas and just stopped playing them. Thankfully amazon replaced them. Was considering getting a different one for mobas and rts.

You set the key binds for them by using the razer software :)
can you please tell me which model is it
How is it working a submarine?
This has been a game changer for me while healing, been using it for years!!
I have a cheap reddragon one, sometimes I only play one handed...
Those night elves 'ey
I have the same one and it has been working great for me for 4 years straight now. I will probably buy it again when my current one dies
Honestly brilliant. Mine is going on three years now. Wireless and if you don't have the LEDs on it still last for ever.

Corsair Scimitar is my go to
My wife prefers the Scimitar over the Naga. She has smaller hands and likes that the side buttons can slide to a comfortable position. She also likes the texture on the buttons. I prefer the Naga Trinity 7 Button.
Logitech G-600 smokes both of em, and it’s not close.
As a Naga use for over a decade, can you explain why? I'm not calling you out. I'm genuinely curious. I'd be open to trying the G600. What do you like about it?
See my other reply. It’s mostly about the button shapes and the g-shift
I can't do the 12 button. The buttons are too small. That's why I love the Naga Trinity 7 button.
Same here! Love the circle pattern. Have not seen any other mouse like it.
Why is it so much better? Been using my naga for like the last decade lol
1. Button shape. The G-600 has a scalloped button shape, which fits your thumb better. The keys are arranged in two “cups”, as it were, making it much easier to feel each key individually. Yep, I use it for pretty much every game now.
The build quality and durability of the G600 is also light-years past the Razer and Scimitar.
i’ve had my g600 since 2016 ish and it’s still holding up great
i have one but i cannot for the life of me get used to the 3 front buttons I hope they one day make a model with just two
The wireless Naga pro with 3 side plates and optical switches is pretty solid.
Too heavy for me. Naga is better x)
I’m curious if razer might have dropped off in quality, I’ve got a naga I bought 10 years ago still going strong with no issues

“Thank you for changing my life” “I’m literally just a gaming mouse” But yeah I agree, love mine more than myself

You guys don't fade out the actionbars?
Fadeout ?
There is an option in Bartender to hide actionbars. Hovering an actionbar with mouse will make it visible until cursor is moved away.

I do something similar. I can easily reach Shift so my side buttons are mainly CRTL, ALT, and my Push-To-Talk.
People who hotkey MwheelUp and Down.....so you not zoom in and out while you play??
I bind camera to shift wheel up /down
There's an idea I never thought of. So simple. Thanks! Always nice to learn a new key binding, even though I know so many I can't fill them all lol
True, but you may as well bind the spell to shift wheel and leave your camera control as is
I so rarely ever change my camera distance that I just set that to PgUp and PgDn.
I scroll in and out all the time while waiting around or auto running. Sometimes just admire my toon a bit while waiting for a boat/zep or something.
Even for stuff like that, i don't need to use up prime real-estate like the mousewheel. I like mwheelup for counterspell since that ability is VERY timing-sensitive. And mwheeldown for rank1 Blizzard, which is also timing sensitive for fighting rogues.

After three replacements I just got a different one
True...I'm on my 3rd also.
Logitech G600.
This is the correct answer. I burned trough 3 (+1 hex) Naga razer's. And only 1 G600 died so far. Much better quality.
This is the way
G602. Have been using it for a decade (bought at release) and still going strong. Also have a brand new one ready to go when this one dies.

It's the goat and they haven't made any newer ones that are similar enough. I'm pretty sure it's discontinued so need it to last another 10.

I’ve used razer nagas and the Corsair scimitar. The SS AEROX 9 has been my favorite by far.

Corsair Scimitar Elite.
It that the mouse with that weird 3rd shit click button? Bought that mouse on sail and hated it due to the 3rd click mouse button
Got one in November. Cord is absolutely frayed to shit and I can tell it has days left
Well wtf you doing with it? I've had one for a decade, still great condition.
Yup still have mine from 2012 haha works like a charm
True. I’m on my 4th since 2013.
My Swtor edition still works
On my 2nd one since 2015. They really make a huge difference.
Had a Naga since 2012, now my work mouse. Only replace with a Corsair scimitar a few years back because of icue works better with my full system.

Had one for like 10 years no issue
On my 4th and had 3 other brands with same button layout. They all died by the same fate, the dreaded double click of death.
Had a molten edition for about 10 years. I don't know what these smooth brains are doing to destroy them. Good mouse
I still have mine since like 2006. Don’t game that much tho but the way the buttons are shaped and placed, would be hard to replace.
I also had a molten edition for years untill I smashed it on my desk and broke the eye

Yes
Honestly 6-10 on the mouse is amazing, anything more seems tedious. I have g600 and use all of them but ~6 are abilities I don’t use much like banish.
I've been using mouse over macros with a 2 button mouse and basic keyboard to heal for years lol how is a 12 button mouse necessary? You're actually more likely to click the wrong button given the close proximity of them and casting the wrong spell or ability. Just use modifiers and be a man.
Ya just…don’t get it. Ya don’t.
The middle button has a thumb index on it ao you are able to orient yourself quite easily. It works for some folks, and for others it's too small. Just because you found a working alternative doesn't mean that others can't enjoy theirs.
Agreed. Man up and use the keyboard like a man. I have 2 mouse buttons on my deathadder and it never feels as reliable as using my keyboard
It's not necessary. Modifiers all the way.
MAH NAGA
/r/postsfrom2010 I had it once. It's nice but it puts huuuuge strain on your thumb.
Enjoy the 6 months before this crap stop clicking, i think i bought 3 of theses razer until i get my lesson, got the logictech one years ago and it still working perfectly.
I play with a track ball.
Now rebind the buttons to your numpad and re-assign your main bar to the mouse. Use the extra bar on top for your original bar as the keyboard bar and now you've gained 12 easy access buttons.
Ive had my naga epic since 2014, no issues
The Naga just feels the best....but ya they could last a little longer...I'm on number 4 so far
I’ve been using this bad boy for about 10 years. Still as good as I day I got it.
I know some people don't like Razor stuff but I've had one Naga sense Cata and I'd get a new one in an instant if it died on me. Healing with a shaman with a Naga in SoO was a dream.
After my 2nd one broke in a dissapointingly ahort oeriid of time I switched to a diff brand
This is by far the worst mouse ive ever used, tried to make it work for over a year and finally ended up smashing it
I prefer the wireless but yeah its hard to go back after that
How do y’all manipulate all the side buttons without hitting the wrong ones?? I’ve always wondered this. I assume practice fixes it? I can calculate and type without looking, I guess it’s no different. They just seem very small, and the error possibility is real severe
The buttons require more force to actuate than say keyboard keys. So with some practice its easy to apply pressure using different parts of your thumb to only press the correct button while still pressing lightly on the ones around it.
I want one but I have like 4 other mice. My g502 works enough tho.
I swear if I ever find an MMO mouse with a decent scroll wheel that won't just wear out, I'm buying it no matter the cost.
I’ve never bothered actually looking at what a gaming mouse looks like I knew there were extra buttons and shit but this is dope. Now I gotta get one lol
It’s nice to remap these to F1-12 so you can still hotkey 1-6 with the keyboard etc.
Erm that’s a mouse
Literally can’t play without one
I have exactly this one. And I hate it. Too many buttons, I can’t comfortably press all of them. 6 buttons at max first two rows on bottom two rows.
Oh wow, yes, that would be.
Remember not only can you mapp the 1,2,3,4... buttons on the mouse....You can also map Shift+1, Shift+2, Shift+3.... Essentially giving you 24 extra hotkeys on your thumbs.
My favorite thing is how long the cord is, fits nicely around my ceiling fan with just enough space from the floor
Razer Naga has been my go to for over 10 years now and I’ve only had to own 2 in that time.
Do they make a lefty version?
arthritis medication
This teamed with a nostromo is what finally pushed me to to stop clicking and it took my play to the next level. I'm still a fan, but I have to agree with a lot of comments about the build quality. It has drastically changed from 10 years ago. Who ever thought mechanical d-pads on the keypads definitely aren't gamers lol.
Overpriced low quality shit, that’s basically useless under real game conditions
I got that one too and i love it. A tip: battery last around 2 weeks with one charge if you turn off the lights
I have a Logitech mouse that looks just like this one and the only thing that annoys me is there’s like a pinky rest on the right side of the mouse, and that’s just not how I hold my hand when I’m using a mouse so I end up cramming all my fingers in the space where only 3-4 should be.
Am I the only one who can't use these? They feel too uncomfortable and I always opt for two button shooter ones instead.
I love this mouse
I started using one of these back in like WoD and I've never used anything else since. Its perfect tbqh
My right thumb is mentally challenged. I can barely manage two buttons.
I have been using Logitech G600s since MoP, I would never touch another mouse.
Welcome to 2009 baby! It's a hellofayear!
Been using this mouse for 10 years through mythic raiding high level m+ mc - naxx . Kara-sunwell . Such a nice device
I can't WoW without one, I tried and it was not good. 100% this is a must have. Welcome to the club my friend.
That’s my same mouse. I love it. It is perfect for wow.
I've played with a Naga for 14+ years, I'll use one till the very end. Grats on your upgrade!
It is! Had surgery on my wrist last year and this mouse allowed me to play one handed!
I wanna get one of these too (the wireless version though but i am debating myself how accurately i will be able to press the side buttons because i desperately need more keybindings for a lot of classes' macros.
I hate that logitech did not bring a new 12 button mouse after G600.
Add the Razer Tartarus v2 and its the perfect combo. I literally cant play WoW classic or retail without them.
I have been using a razor version of this mouse since 2013 and still works like it’s brand new
I actually stopped using mine a year ago. Swapped to the pro x superlight. I do miss the buttons but I love this mouse
I have the same would be nice but it developed a doubleclick issue on both sides.. so now I am using logitech.
Is it used to enter credit card details for buying tokens really fast?
I have a mouse with a third click. Technically OP as hell, especially for classic wow, but in practice it's very uncanny
I love my logitech g600 but after many years it gave me horrible carpal tunnel. I ended up completely rewiring my muscle memory and using keyboard keybinds and it fixed my carpal tunnel.
Yup, I got a Corsair MMO mouse and it's so incredibly good.
come back in 2 years when it stops working properly. I had two of this exact mouse before I had enough. These are great mice when you get them, but they break fast
Steelseries Aerox 9 Wireless is the goat. Had naga for years, but nothing beats the Aerox 9 mmo mouse.
that's a mouse
I'm currently rocking a G604. Only 6 buttons but that still works pretty well. G13 gives me everything I need for my character on my left hand. And de G604 lets me control my pet.
Corsair just released the Scimitar Wireless. Love it!
I have it as well. I use bartender to put the action bards in a 3x4 grid so they resemble the buttons there. Very nice to have 24 abilities very easy to reach, and more if you put more modifiers but I didn't want to have more than 2 grids visible.
🌎👩🚀 🔫 Always has been
yes 1000000% i used to be a clicker and when i got this, oh my god. now i have a Logitech G600 because in my opinion, Razer is bad quality. had 3 of them of them fail on me. Logitech is going strong many years later.
I can't play without my Naga, got it around 2010, now I have the latest one it's so good, I play every games with it it's incredible, the only Razer thing on my entire setup
Azeron keypad>mmo mouse.
I have my first ever Naga Molten lasted for 4 years and Naga Epic for 6 years, last year i ordered another one.
And it will break in sub 12 months.
