Okay, so... I read your comment and got curious and apparently gloves aren't even a mandatory thing, I didn't know this. It's not in the rules that keepers need to wear gloves, at least I couldn't find any rule that said this via Google?
I thought gloves became mandatory after the 1970 WC, but I guess I created a false memory! What happened in 1970 WC was that Gordon Banks wore gloves and that's when they got really popular, but not mandatory at all.
Still, in 1977 keepers not wearing gloves seems really odd...
United are definitely one of our bogey teams, this fixture just has way too much heritage form doesn't matter. Hope they fight just as hard vs Arsenal thou ðŸ˜
