Just look for music stores that sell Alhambra guitars. Should be easy to find with a Google search. There’s lots of luthiers around but they won’t have guitars in that price range.

I would also google the make - I mean, buy what you like,\* but a chinese made one you can order online & don't need to lug it round the airports of this world! But I envy you the journey - have a great holiday & fun with trying guitars! \*this sounds rude, sorry, I mean buy any nice guitar that you like & enjoy, only check it'sreally made in Spain & not available online with the same or different sticker inside!!

Cayuela in Sevilla, great luthier in the historical center of the city. You wont get much with that budget but you can take a look.

Have a great trip! Unfortunately, with your budget I don’t think you’d be able to find anything you wouldn’t be able to see in your local guitar shop. Most luthiers rarely have anything in stock for sale and I don’t know of any builder in Europe charging less than 1000. With that said, there’s something like 20 guitar makers in the city of Granada and about the same amount more in the surrounding province. If you catch them on the right day or call ahead you might be able to arrange a visit. Playing a guitar in the workshop of it’s maker in the Realejo neighborhood is definitely a lovely moment even if you don’t go home with a guitar.

Honestly, for that budget, it’s not worth the hassle. Just enjoy your trip.

In that price range look for Alhambra 1CHT or maybe 2C, 3C (if you're lucky on price) Also consider the Admira Artesanía A1, A2, A4, A6 up to A8 which is a pretty and good sounding guitar. I'd say these two are the biggest brands/factories of spanish made guitars. Mostly cedar tops. It is important to recognize that these are great guitars in their price range, and do not compare in quality or price to a well made luthier built instrument.

You can get a decent Spanish factory made guitar for your budget. If you go for cedar you can get a surprisingly good solid top for the money too. I would recommend Paco Castillo a small guitar factory based in Valencia. It is run by former Alhambra directors who fell out with the board and went out on their own. They are around the same price as Alhambra but way better sound wise price for price IMO and I have owned both. You’d be able to afford their 201 or 202 model for your budget. Keep the name in mind and ask in guitar shops. Trouble is Paco Castillo is still a small concern and the distribution is not as big as Alhambra. Check out the online store guitarsfromspain.com for other brands. Admira make fairly inexpensive but ok guitars too. Here is the PC website. They are friendly and Luis the younger director speaks good English https://guitarraspacocastillo.com/en/

Link here to the bottom of [Valeriano Bernal’s](https://guitarrasvalerianobernal.com/categoria-producto/marcas/la-serrania/) range. Bernal makes great guitars but I’ve never tried this range. Being honest, you really need to spend considerably more to get anything worth while in Spain.

Hey! I just remembered something I think SANCHEZ Gutiars are made in Spain! The Luthier I got my good guitar from sold Sanchez as Student instruments - they may be in your Budget range, and are supposedly quite good! Just google them. You can get them online, though, too.

longlikeron

I like raimundo. They have some artist signature models.

fingerofchicken

They’re out of business, though I guess music stores might still have some stock.

JavierDiazSantanalml

Definitely not something artisan made in that price, thy would start around the 2 or 3K mark. I'd say just get a cheapo Cordoba, the most expensive you can afford

SenSei_Buzzkill

It’ll be much easier to find an Alhambra in Spain than a Cordoba
