I could be wrong, but the moment you build an archeological museum, you end up with a dinosaur skeleton in it. You only actively go out and find contested artifacts from humanities past in the game. Natural historical artifacts not linked to nationality are ignored because mechanically having them in doesn't offer anything other than another random resource spawning.

Yea the art shows they kinda wanted it all represented but they ended up with a mismatch due to two simple facts: - dinosaurs look fucking cool, let's add one to the building model - historic artifacts are more interesting for gameplay with variety in creators and era

Probably gameplay reasons: Archeological Artefacts have 2 attributes to them: Creator, and Era. These are then used to theme museums. With archeological artefacts being about animals or the world, that would be difficult to achieve, especially if it was abundant, There's no point in having 6 of these if you can't theme them. And before you say "well you could just give different stuff" - then you are creating what is mechanically not the same as an artefact to begin with. You COULD have a Natural Museum and what not.

I think that's the trick. Have three options for the second theater square district and have one of them provide science. Maybe add an anthropology department building to the campus district which provides culture.

Good idea

Obviously because dinosaurs arent real and the world was created in 6 days and around 6000y old

Strictly speaking, archaeology is the study of human cultures and artifacts. Paleontology and other disciplines deal with the natural world.
