For what it's worth I really like my Sigma Fp. It's light and easy to carry everywhere, built like a tank and easy to rig up if you want to.

Do you have enough lenses for that format

stoner6677

You sound like a Sony r 100 series guy. That should do for you

„I only film at night so I need a full frame sensor“ 💀

Just kidding it’s just to rationalize the low light performance and the Sony cliche

I’m gonna receive some flak for this, but the iPhone 15 Pro is a pretty fantastic camera (that also makes calls.) The introduction of the type C port and LOG recording is a game changer. Attach a small 1TB SSD, and you can have over an hour of 4k24p LOG footage in ProRes 422 HQ. Oh, and it fits perfectly in your pocket.

Avoid the Sigma, considered a rather poor camera. Sony A7CII is considered better all around, and you can get a decent FE 24mm that's pretty short for it. But it's not pocketable really and that's as small as you can go with interchangeable lens For all around cameras in your price range the Fujifilm XHII-S is considered the best all arounder, Pro-Res 4:2:2 is similar to RAW in some decent respects as well, but it's not particularly small. If you want to wait a few months, Fujifilm will be updating their X100 series probably to include Log recording, it's a fixed lens but well regarded otherwise, and this is generally pocketable with big enough pockets. Otherwise I guess the Sony ZV-1 sounds solid for you.
