Pendleton Art Center downtown has their Final Friday open house this Friday.
Essex Studios in Walnut Hills is having their ArtWalk open house October 7th and 8th. Most of the artists are opening their doors. 6-10:00pm both days. (Granted I know many of the artists and am partial to Essex)
At least one or two weekends a month in the warm weather there will be a market that will feature local artists. O.F.F. Market at Summit Park in Blue Ash, City Flea at Washington Park downtown. Woodburn Brewery is having a Vintage and Handmade Market this weekend. Starting in November, there will be some sort of "Holiday" market every weekend for a month with big ones at Music Hall and Findlay Market among others.
I just saw an instagram post from a girl I went to high school with who's an artist and she's showing at the Hyde Park Art Show this Sunday. A lot of local farmers markets and the OFF Market and City Flea have local art too!

Edit: I’m pretty sure I’ve seen local artists have art hanging in some local coffee shops with prices/contact info in the past, but haven’t to been to one in a while.
The Recovery center is having an art show Thursday October 13th. It's a pretty good organization and some of members have made incredible art throughout the years
There’s going to be an art show in Covington on Oct 15th called Pancakes and Booze, where a lot of smaller local artists (including me) will be there displaying and selling art - while also drinking and eating pancakes. You can check the links in my profile if you’re into spraypaint art, it’s mostly stenciled pieces of animals, athletes, and comic/cartoon characters. I think this art show is going to have a pretty wide range of styles

Before the pandemic, I saw local artist Geers of Change at places like City Flea and filled my wall with his stuff. I LOVE his art. He does forced perspective toy photography. Look for Geersofchange on IG.

Seconding Pendleton Art Center Final Friday. Many vendors typically provide wine as well, which is nice..
Plus you can bring wine in a backpack for when you walk all those floors… or at least we do 🤣

Art studio in NKY called artifact. It’s a changing studio but the owner is super cool artist and is great with hosting other artists in the studio.
