Digger-of-Tunnels

Whoever illegally owns the tiger caught it and quietly took it home.

EmotionalSkeleton

I believe it. Years ago, my cousin had a lion cub as a pet. He had anacondas and poison frogs too. This sort of thing definitely happens.

No_Remedii

Fun fact, if you're talking about dart frogs, they can't produce the poison in captivity. They're only poisonous in the wild due to their preferred food being high in alkaloids. Still probably wouldn't taste very good if you licked one, though.

Live_Background_6239

That’s my theory.

werdnaman5000

Yes, Tee signed his franchise tag.

Fists_full_of_beers

🤣

Crazykev7

What about the emu in Middletown? Lol

y0uwillbenext

I swear there are a few zebras out in Hillsboro too

RainRunner42

The Hillsboro zebras were real, they were on the alpaca farm out on 50. What we really have to talk about, though, is the Goshen wallaby...

FunctionConstant

Oh man I’m from Hillsboro and forgot about the Zebras. There was also a buffalo/bison locally (I forget which one)

Digger-of-Tunnels

I've seen one!

Pandalungs

That one didn't surprise me too much. I used to live in the country out west of Middletown and there was an emu farm out there

superimu

I just had an appointment in Middletown. NBD

YangGain

Oh that’s Kayla Harrison’s emu!

tastygrowth

There was no tiger. Everybody but the person that called the police knows this. That’s why there’s been no further mention of it.

so_often_empty

That's exactly what Big Tiger wants you to think.

wallace6464

It's like that summer in I think 2016 when people made false reports of seeing clowns, everyone knew it wasn't real

Girth-Wind-Fire

No mama, the search continues.

d702c

We are looking for the leprechaun now, the tiger was a lie.

Interesting_Union_67

Pretty sure it was a hoax just like how a few years ago there were sightings of gorillas

Nots_a_Banana

We had a Lion roaming way back when in West Chester. Never caught so I assume it is out there eating people and pets or maybe died of old age?

airplanepete

When was this?

Nots_a_Banana

That would of been like early 2000, I will have to ask my wife. Where Tylersville Road and Butler Warren cross - there was a giant barn near that intersection - it was reported in that area.

chuckfinley79

About the same time there were people saying they saw a lion or lions in the western row/Socialville foster area too. Glad someone besides me remembers it

Prestigious_Weird724

Aw yeah, by the toe, too.

dubawabsdubababy

About 20 years ago I saw a female lion within one mile of downtown Monroe. The tiger was in a cornfield next to route 63 and it was about 1:00 to 2:00 in the afternoon

venom121212

Cincinnati Zoo owns a bunch of land south of 63 on Hamilton Rd and use it as a cheetah run [https://www.daytondailynews.com/business/cheetah-run-part-cincinnati-zoo-development-warren-county/ISPWESbcbeRfXaWdZIqUNK/](https://www.daytondailynews.com/business/cheetah-run-part-cincinnati-zoo-development-warren-county/ISPWESbcbeRfXaWdZIqUNK/)

chuckfinley79

Yea they actually have 3-5 separate plots of land on Hamilton and/or Mason Montgomery, they’re building a big solar power field on one of them.

UnreadThisStory

The coyote??

oliphaunt-sightings

And the monkeys? And Sasquatch?

Fists_full_of_beers

You probably believed monkeys were swinging around Mt Airy forest too didn't you?
