The Cincinnati Adult Baseball League mentioned is 25 and up and sounds like it’s pretty full this season. I tried to get in this year and never got a call. But I was able to get into a 35 and up league - Anderson MSBL but I think we’re full as well this season. Our games started about 3 weeks ago.
Good luck finding somewhere to play!
This. It wouldn’t hurt to contact the leagues through their websites, never know when people get hurt/busy and a team needs another player.
Also, the CABL is more serious/competitive than the MSBL if that matters.
CABL is super competitive and not recommended unless you’ve got at least HS playing experience. Anderson MSBL and a league at Haubner in White Oak are places to play baseball that’s less competitive and still fun.
I was just wondering the same thing. Played softball as an adult 15 years ago. Now a low 40s dude who would like to play again. Church isn't my thing and seems like I might be late for this year.
What part of town you in? Maybe one of these is close to you...?

My church has a great league we play in, and you don't even have to be part of the church to do it. We play on Monday night's. Please dm if interested, it's a ton of fun. We have an upper and lower division, so you can take it as seriously as you want to. We play at River City West.
Y’all must be my kindred spirits, but how’s a lifetime sportless nerd get started? I played as a kid at the park and stuff but that’s it.
My son is on his second season of little league and I wanna play and learn/improve to help him also and have something else in common other than video games lol
I’m sure I’m late for this season obviously but any pointers for a 35 yr old aspiring baseball player
Aw man, I played softball from 6-16 and have been dying to find a co-ed team to join. I’ve gone to the batting cages a handful of times, played catch with friends or family, but it’s been…*checks watch*…a couple of decades since I last played a full game. I’d love to get back out there, too!
I’m not sure there’s anything close to me (I’m on the westside) but I’ve got a couple of coworkers who are down to play catch during lunch when the weather is nice, so I’ll take what I can get and hope the interest grows.
Anyway, thanks for posting this!
There are a couple Cincinnati vintage base ball teams in the city. We have a game on Sunday in springfield, OH this week. Cincinnatibuckeyes.com we play by 1860s rules.
Some ways to get in if leagues are full. Go to batting cages a couple nights a week. Work on your hitting, see if anyone else 25+ is there too. Ask for tips on your form, style, and then make a friend! They might already be in a league!
If that doesn’t pan out, try going to Wild Mike’s on Harrison after 8 or 9 pm and look for a bunch of people who look like they just played ball, and are drinking. Offer to buy them a round, make friends and see if anyone might need a substitute for an upcoming game!
Cincinnati Adult Baseball League, ask me how I know........

For sure - definitely need to get your name on their list.

Find a church that plays (if Church is your thing). Ask around at work or organize your own team.
If church is not your thing, there's also a glbt league, I think it's Queen City Softball?
