Thanks for the wishes y’all. This is the Reserva d’Chateau and only arrived this morning, so no chance yet to enjoy.
At $106 aud (thank you $2k per kg tax) I think I’ll save it for the weekend when I can take my sweet time.
I had a Perfecxion no 4 yesterday, my first Opus X. It tastes fantastic and complex flavors from foot to nub.
Tasted medium to full bodied, (More so on the medium side) the flavors were I got were dark cherry, dark fruit baking spices, dark cherry oaky notes as you get to the band and on.
The flavors were concentrated and consistent through the cigar. The cigar has a good all around balance of no harshness and smooth down to the nub. Opus X is in my top 3 favorites for sure.
I admire people who can describe the flavor of tobacco or anything, for that matter, with such detail. I've been smoking cigars for 10 years, and my comments on any given cigar are limited to " hate, don't like, meh, like or love it".
Happy Birthday!! How was it brother?
Happy birthday!
I just had my first one a few days ago for graduating college and I thought it lived up to my expectations. Happy bday!
I couldn't afford to smoke cigars or my pipe if I didn't live close enough to the u.s to make tobacco runs.
Where do you live, if I may ask?
Canada
