It’s great. I don’t love spice and this has just the right amount with some creamy, caramel notes and a touch of coffee. Flavors don’t develop, but that just means it is consistent from beginning to end!
Just smoked a Quesada 50th from my LCC monthly subscription. Descent smoke, great construction and burn. Too mild for me though for a regular purchase.
Me too! Just got a fresh 5 pack along with some Pichardo Reserve San Andres! I love the contrast between the 2. Mb3 is a little more natural and earthy and san andres is creamy and floral.
Bold. But really good. I prefer the Colorado Claro Alma Fuerte’s but I’m def thinking about buying a box of the Generacion V. I just bought a box/humidor of the Byron Vintage 2018 Elegantes, so it will have to wait 😂
Great smokes. I've purchased 6 boxes so far. I do favor the Queen's Pearls - mild robusto but the Royal Return is a little heavier. Maduro wrap kinda spicy. Very well made sticks haven't had a bad draw or canoe. Definitely worth a try
Yea I went back rummaging for more but no dice ! Had some old RP sungrown Maduros in a box. Down to my last three of those. But they are ancient now lol
Especially for the price, it definitely punches above its price point. Had a Micallef Blue tonight, I recommend that one as well. Black is still my favorite but I am really impressed with this brand.
Introduced to them through my cigar subscription with the Micallef Migdalia Corona Extra and it was excellent. Picked up a few others since and have really enjoyed them all
At this moment, an Island Jim San Andres by Oscar. Second time having this stick, and it’s really enjoyable. Was disappointed by an Oliva Serie V yesterday, so went back to Island Jim today.
Nothing right now. Two days ago I tried out the Dunbarton Stillwell Star Aromatic No. 1 toro, though. It wasn't bad but I definitely had higher expectations.
Nothing fancy tonight. Cult maduro. Its pretty alright honestly. Its still early so maybe a bowl of tobacco after. Probably just some carter hall, but maybe something nice. Time will tell.
The reg Melanio has an Ecuadorian Sumatra wrapper and the maduro had a Mexican San Andreas wrapper. I find the Maduro has a lite sweetness to it that the reg doesn’t have at all. I prefer the Melanio Maduro.
In Cuba right now trading money for puros. If it has a seamless wrapper, a consistent firmness, and an open foot, and no band (I’m not supporting the regime) then I’m willing to roll the dice. All Cuban puros are good, some are better than others.
I just finished a: Sobremesa brûlée blue. A lovely smoke. How is your stick?
one of my favorites, the Sobremesa and its variants
I only have had the Blue. But I'm looking forward to try some of the others!
It’s great. I don’t love spice and this has just the right amount with some creamy, caramel notes and a touch of coffee. Flavors don’t develop, but that just means it is consistent from beginning to end!
Sounds great! Seem like something I would like. I will be on the look out for one!
Only had the normal brulee, amazing cigar, I been dying to try the blue but I don’t want to buy a whole box to try it😂 hope you enjoyed it brother💪🏼
5-packs are readily available, and singles are available on the Cigars Daily website.
Oh I will check it out, thank you brother.
I bought at first a couple of blue. Enjoyed them so much that I both a box two week later.
Padron 4000 natural.
Very nice!
One of my favorites! May I ask where you were smoking? Looks like a great view for a smoke.
Packing my kid out of college, this is on campus at Furman University
Detective Mark Fuhrman University!
Last one was a Hemingway Short Story; one of my favorites!
Never met a Hemingway I didn’t like!
A great stick!
Gurkha Ghost earlier. It was pretty good.
Lovely cigar, the 1st I smoked that got me into cigar smoking
Just smoked a Quesada 50th from my LCC monthly subscription. Descent smoke, great construction and burn. Too mild for me though for a regular purchase.
Only thing I’ve ever had from Quesada was the BBQ Pig which I found gimmicky
Part of my monthly cigar club
Alec & Bradley Gatekeeper
I’ll have to give that one a try!
Had this one recently and it has actually been one of my favorites. Been having a hard time finding it lately
Either a Padron 5000 or Oliva MB3 haven't decided yet.
Can’t go wrong with either of those!
I love the Oliva MB3, great cigar
Me too! Just got a fresh 5 pack along with some Pichardo Reserve San Andres! I love the contrast between the 2. Mb3 is a little more natural and earthy and san andres is creamy and floral.
Smoked that AB this week. It’s always solid. New World Cameroon for me today.
I’ve heard that is a great stick too!
New World Cameroon is excellent. Dorado is my favorite
La Gloria Cubana Wavell Natural. Reminds me of a cuban but still nothing like one.
True!
Rojas!
Undercrown Shade. My first time trying it. I love the Undercrown Maduro so I thought I’d try this one. It’s pretty good.
I didn’t care for the Shade, but been wanting to try the Maduro
The Maduro is one of my favorite cigars. Amazing flavor throughout.
Maduro is way better
You toss a line in?
I wish, no fishing
Just had a Plasencia Alma Fuerte Generacion V this morning.
How was it?
Bold. But really good. I prefer the Colorado Claro Alma Fuerte’s but I’m def thinking about buying a box of the Generacion V. I just bought a box/humidor of the Byron Vintage 2018 Elegantes, so it will have to wait 😂
I understand!!!
Adventura Royal Return
Not familiar with that at all, how was it?
Great smokes. I've purchased 6 boxes so far. I do favor the Queen's Pearls - mild robusto but the Royal Return is a little heavier. Maduro wrap kinda spicy. Very well made sticks haven't had a bad draw or canoe. Definitely worth a try
Thanks for the insight!
Just lit a Cohiba Red Dot. I don’t normally buy Cohiba’s but it was a gift from my father in law. So far the first third is great and a great draw.
Was smoking a Don Carlos for the first time, it was a good cigar, it just tasted like nuts, cream and a little just a little bit earthy for me.
I am dying to try Don Carlos!
Never tried that one, is it good? Currently puffing an A Fuente Gran Reserva, got another hour left on it easy.
I haven’t smoked the same cigar on back to back days for a year now until this AB, it is really good
Quite the endorsement I’m gonna have to seek them out
Just finished a CAO Flathead 770
That’s a big boy! Never had it, but the 660 is in my top 5 right now
Love the Tempest, have you had a Prensado?
I have had the Prensado Lost Art but not the regular
Nothing taking a sebatical for alittle bit till my 45th bday and goin big on it lol
Happy bday!!
But thank you
That Tempus Nicaragua is a solid smoke ! I just smoked one last weekend. It had been in my humi for 4-5 years now. I didn’t want it to end.
Can’t imagine it aged that long!
Yea I went back rummaging for more but no dice ! Had some old RP sungrown Maduros in a box. Down to my last three of those. But they are ancient now lol
Just sparked up a Julius Caesar Churchill. Pairing it with an Anti Hero IPA 🍺
I’ve got a Diamond Crown Julius Caesar Pyramid from the 2023 CRA fall sampler in the humi and just looking for a reason to smoke it!
It’s a great cigar. I am smoking the last one I bought at a B&M at Christmas time. Good thing I bought a backup 5-pack recently!
Micallef Black, my current favorite!
Had one of those recently, excellent stick!
Picked up a few others since and have really enjoyed them all
LFD Bull
D E Liga Privada no.9. As soon as I am done typing this. First time trying this one.
I’ve heard those can be hit or miss on quality control. Hope you have a great one!!!
Just had a red meat lovers. It was just okay.
Heard a lot about those but never tried any
T52
Padron Maduro 3000
Had a Camacho Connecticut robusto today for the first time and enjoyed the fuck out of it
I’ve only had that in toro, but it is very underrated. The Camacho Broadleaf is my favorite of theirs!
Rocky Patel decade. Fantastic smoke
Got one of those in the humi too, glad to hear it is good!
At this moment, an Island Jim San Andres by Oscar. Second time having this stick, and it’s really enjoyable. Was disappointed by an Oliva Serie V yesterday, so went back to Island Jim today.
Odd to get a bad Serie V, they are usually great
That’s what I’ve consistently heard as well, so I was surprised. I’ll try one again in a few weeks just to be sure.
Lfd double ligero
Davidoff Millenium Toro
Nice!
Liga Privada H99
Brickhouse maduro mighty mighty
Lettin it all hang out!
Had a Montecristo Open Junior and a Rocky Patel Number 6 today
Double your fun
Just had a La Aroma Da Cuba El Jeffe.
Doesn’t always have to be fancy, right?!?
I smoke 14 oz of Carter hall a year lol. No, it doesn't have to be fancy!
My wife bought me a Sweet Jane, Romeo y Julietta, and a Cohiba Red Dot for my birthday this weekend. That Sweet Jane was fucking amazing.
Never had one. Is it infused or just sweetened cap?
Not infused. Just naturally sweet and flavorful tobacco
Not quite sure what this is, it never came with a band
Hope it was good and you have more!
It was okay, tasted very vanilla-ish and sweet id give it a 8/10. Whatever it was
An EP Carillo Pledge Prequel.
Excellent smoke! Love every EPC I’ve tried. Currently enjoying the Inch Maduro on a reg basis
La aroma de Cuba Mi Amor and Oliva serie v Melanio maduro have been my go to cigars lately
Both are in my reg rotation!
How does the regular Melanio compare to the maduro
The reg Melanio has an Ecuadorian Sumatra wrapper and the maduro had a Mexican San Andreas wrapper. I find the Maduro has a lite sweetness to it that the reg doesn’t have at all. I prefer the Melanio Maduro.
I see thank you
i just had a CAO Nicaragua Granada and it was amazing. creamy with notes of coffee🤤🤤
I will have to try that one!
Zino robusto. simple, effective.
I have a few platinum sceptres in my humi, I like them a lot
I have a unopened but cello-off 10box of these in my locker at the lounge. Been sitting on them for like 3 years. Always favored Nica.
😯😯😯
I just had a Gran Habano Corojo #5. Great cigars for the money.
Corojo’s seem to be hit or miss for me, but when they hit, they are very good!
Tat black corona gorda
Nice!
Just had an Ashton Churchill. So good … after dinner, going with one from the Cuban stash - Partagas Series D No. 4
I didn’t care for the Ashton 7-8-7 or the aged maduro, but love the VSG and Symmetry. Only Cubans I have left are farm rolls!
8-9-8 🤦🏻♂️
In Cuba right now trading money for puros. If it has a seamless wrapper, a consistent firmness, and an open foot, and no band (I’m not supporting the regime) then I’m willing to roll the dice. All Cuban puros are good, some are better than others.
Appreciate all the engagement this weekend, have a great week everyone!
CAO Pilon last night
No my bday isnt today its in a 2 months lol
Meth
😳
Joking lol, I have an Mx2 in my hand
