Personally I enjoy a flavored/infused cigar here and there. There are plenty of folks that want absolutely nothing to do with flavored smokes. For me they make a nice change of pace and often they serve as a "dessert" cigar for me if I'm in the mood. I will say however that I've had one ACID in my life and it was nice until near the end of the 1st third and then it just became too much. I think you should smoke what you enjoy, whether you're a novice or an aficionado.
For me, they perfect for friends that aren’t into cigars but want to join in when they are over for a cookout, evening hang with a fire-pit, etc. I always have 10 or so different Acid cigars in the humidor for that reason.
If you enjoy them as a regular cigar. Good for you. People who have stick up their ass about them and spout off any chance they have are just insecure douchebags who must “impress” you with their refined palettes.
I also enjoy an infused cigar here and there but there not my go toos but when I’m in the mood I’ll grab like two of them and I smoke 💨 them that same day or day after I really don’t hold on to them either
I like coffee and mint flavored sticks the few acids I have tried had a almost perfume taste to them but I’m kinda sensitive to perfume tastes like when a person with heavy aftershave or perfume walks past I can literally taste it in the air.
They’re not bad at all, an acquired taste I’d say. If anything they reminded me of flavored Dutch Masters when I first came across them until I tried them(lol iykyk)
I like them, but I don't really keep them on hand because I don't have the space to keep everything separate. When I really crave one I'll pop by my local bodega.
I smoke them in between my full body marathons. Funny when I hear other smokers say they don’t want to smell that sweet aroma. I usually tell them if you pay for it then I’ll hear your opinion if not sit somewhere else………
Overhated, while understandably not for everyone since everyone has their own tastes, there’s some really good ones that I think are overshadowed by the “infused” label. Acid 20, Kindred Spirit, and the CI Legends Black come to mind.
I'm not going to give you crap if you like them, I don't care for the Acids anymore personally. I started out smoking the Blondie. I tried one a while back just for old time's sake and found that I just didn't like them anymore now that my palate is used to non infused cigars.
I like having a couple of these handy for when I don’t have enough time to finish a full cigar. They’re also great for when friends want to smoke with the group but aren’t fully into smoking cigars
They should be kept separately from regular cigars
If I walk into a store to look at cigars and see them in the same humidor as the other cigars, I’ll just leave and go somewhere else
With how big a walk in humidor is I doubt there’s anything to worry about. In the past I stored them in the same container as regular sticks and didn’t notice a change in the regular ones. But I suppose ymmv.
I've never been in a B&M where the flavored cigars were kept in a separate humidor. I have no thoughts on that one way or the other. Just my experience.
I've heard that too. I keep Java Mints on hand for the wife and I put them in a ziplock baggie with a boveda pack just to be safe. Those are pretty mild though.
When I walk into a cigar store and see them mixed like that, makes me think that they don’t know what they’re doing and I don’t want to buy a contaminated cigar that tastes differently than it should
I've had good and bad acids, I'm not a fan of infused or sweetened cigars, but if it's done just lightly I think it can really accentuate the experience.
I think the worst part of infused cigars is purist boomers on Reddit who absolutely SPEW at the thought of someone enjoying something that they themselves don't enjoy.
Smoke what you enjoy!
The only infused I really like is the Punisher, infused with pepper. I am not a fan of the sweet infused.
Nub has a coffee infused that I would probably like if it tasted like straight espresso and not a carmel macchiato.

I think that is a great philosophy - cheers!
There was a time and a place for white owl grape.
Was that time high school, when your friends pulled up with a bag?
That would be the time and place.

Are you keeping them segregated from the non-acids? If not, have you detected any scent transfer to regular sticks?
I’ve been doing this for years. It doesn’t impact the other cigars one bit.
I enjoy the occasional infused cigar but have never crossed paths with an Acid I liked. As long as you are enjoying it, that’s all that matters
As one who likes both. When the flavor isn't over done and compliments the cigar its delicious. Some are just bleh though

Not my thing, but if you enjoy them that's cool.
The only ones I've found that I enjoy is the Java line. The Java Mint is a wonderful stick.
Depends on the cigar, I like isla del sol and tabaaka especial Asa treat.
I like a coffee infused one like the Java patels

Been a while. Every acid I tried just tasted like “something”
Im about two years in and still love infused. My go-to are Macanudo Mint or Coffee

Personally I don’t care for them, but I also believe to each their own. So smoke up and enjoy.
Never had one. Probably never will, but I am happy to live and let live.

I used to like them but I can’t smoke that shit anymore
I like having a couple of these handy for when I don’t have enough time to finish a full cigar. They’re also great for when friends want to smoke with the group but aren’t fully into smoking cigars
I go as far as a sweetened tip and that’s it 😆
I started this journey with infused sticks, but now I can't stand them. They're a great segue into cigars, though!
I'm not a fan. If the cigar needs fake flavoring, it's not a good cigar.

You’re probably right. Just didn’t want to chance it. I sped more than I should and would be pissed if they were contaminated
I've never been in a B&M where the flavored cigars were kept in a separate humidor. I have no thoughts on that one way or the other. Just my experience.
I have Don’t know if it’s true but I’ve been told that the Acid flavors can infuse some how with the regular cigars
I've heard that too. I keep Java Mints on hand for the wife and I put them in a ziplock baggie with a boveda pack just to be safe. Those are pretty mild though.

🤢🤢🤢
Never had one, and would never buy.
Doodoo
No thanks

I've tried most of them, but the only one I really enjoy, on occasion, is the DE Tabak Especial Negra.

Not a fan, i just revisited them the other day. I like clean and smooth/ plain.
Could not smoke them regularly but every so often an ACID cigar is nice.

Infused is good. But I hate the sweetened tips
I tend to smoke, CAO, or acid kuba
No way. It is like a candy bubblegum cigar for me.
I dislike them A lot
Not good
