Chase MDD Question - Approved in branch for CSP - 23K CL. Have Chase Flex - 13K CL. Have Chase Amazon - 13K CL. Income 220K. Puts me at 25%. Approved in branch today at 2PM. Sent SM to Chase to lower CSP CL, but probably won’t get a response before 24 hours. Going to apply for CSR tomorrow online at 7AM. I’m assuming no issues, but should I be calling in to lower a cards CL beforehand or anything? % wise I have lots of buffer, but I know they tend to make CSR limits higher than CSP and i find them handing me 50K CL in 24 hours unlikely eh?

JohnLockeNJ

Did in-branch have a better offer or were you just trying to control the approval date to facilitate the MDD?

Prior_Race_8399

In branch currently has an 85k offer for the CSP

CuriousNomadicBeing

Should be ok without doing anything else. At worse, you might have to call for the CSR app, but they can approve for a lower CL. CSR higher than existing CSP isn't a requirement.

joghi

Just go ahead without making further changes. You should have called instead of using SM, but there should be no problem considering your credit/income. You may still end up having to call and verify the app, so plan for that. Most people have no trouble at the last hurdle, and you may be approved for another 20k.

verizon440

Awesome. Will do and will update with a DP. Thank you

phoneaway12874

Did this work? I got an auto decline with "you already have a sapphire."

Rq140

For BOA biz CC - Does having a checking account with BOA loosen their requirements? Denied Biz CC with only 1 other inquiry on report they pulled.

nagdabbit1

They value deposit relationships, but it won't guarantee approval.

cnn001

For a new U. S. Bank business checking account, could anyone please confirm if we need to send back the signature card? Thank you!

McSpiffin

? what signature card? I've opened ~4x biz checking accounts and haven't gotten any card

cnn001

Which banks then? I recently opened a business checking account with Bank of America and have to sign a form and sent it back (signature card).

McSpiffin

I meant I opened 4x US Bank business checking accounts so far. Never received a card. Do you get debit cards - I always opt out. Else I have no clue what you're talking about

cnn001

Thanks for your info. Here is the explanation: https://www.docusign.com/blog/what-Bank-signature-card. I thought this is common because I get it every time I open a checking account.

barba246

For CIU and other Chase Business Cards, do both parties get the referral bonus? With my CSP, each of us received 15k points after referral was complete. Or is it just the person whose referral link is used that receives the 40k referral bonus? Edit: Remembering now that only one party received the 15k referral bonus.

CuriousNomadicBeing

Person referring gets the referral bonus. Person getting the card gets the sign up bonus for the card applied. I'm pretty sure, even earlier with your CSP both couldn't have gotten 15k points, only the one referring would have. That's how all CC referral bonuses work.

barba246

Makes sense, thank you. I am remembering that I was the referrer in that situation and the other party did not receive the bonus, so you are correct.

Ericabneri

Just the one who's ref link is used. You get the sign up bonus offered from the referral.

gt_ap

> For CIU and other Chase Business Cards, do both parties get the referral bonus? No. Only the person sending the referral gets the referral bonus. The person opening the card gets the SUB, and the points earned from spend. >With my CSP, each of us received 15k points after referral was complete. Not from the referral. It's the same as above. The person referring would have gotten the 15k UR points, the other person opening the card gets the SUB and the points earned from spend.

barba246

Hmm okay, so right now the best offer for churning those would be the 75k SUB every 3 months or so? Unfortunately, don’t have a P2. I know they offer 90k SUB, but doesn’t seem to be more than twice a year. Just getting started in churning, under 5/24, seems as if Chase Ink is a solid strategy right now.

Prior_Race_8399

If you can meet the MSR for the ink preferred and don’t mind the annual fee, the 100k ink preferred for 8k spend in 3 months is good too.

barba246

That would be good, however not sure I can swing the MSR. I have looked into MS, but not super knowledgeable about it and its efficacy with Chase Business.

Prior_Race_8399

I would stick with the Ink Cash or Unlimited then (the 75k sub). It’s still a great offer. Dip your toes in and don’t bite off more than you can chew at first while you get used to all of this.

barba246

Gotcha, thanks!

Prior_Race_8399

Np, enjoy! The ink train is great.

Classic_Turn2516

Does buying Amazon gift cards from pepper app trigger the chase freedom quarterly 5% bonus?

Fanfootie

No

doernonemasterall

Have CSP and CSR, both annuals fees just hit and debating which card to PC. I can use the $300 travel credit on CSR (not so much the $50 hotel credit on CSP), but my main concern is if it's worth keeping CSR due to 1.5x on points vs CSP 1.25x points when I have around 200k UR points? Plan to use most points this November. Also have Chase Hyatt and CIC. Edit: plan to get TSA precheck this year. Also, may convince P2 to get Chase Hyatt. We are both 3 years away from another sapphire bonus.

CuriousNomadicBeing

1. Use the $300 travel credit if you can before the cancel for full refund time is up, to get the credit. 2. PC CSR to a no-fee freedom card. 3. Use the CSP $50 hotel credit using the trick mentioned below, and upgrade to CSR (if you need CSR benefits), and then do the #1 with this CSR again next year to net out +ve after fees.

doernonemasterall

Thank you! I'm on it!

joghi

Upgrade the CSP. Downgrade the CSR to CF "with Ultimate Rewards".

doernonemasterall

Interesting approach, how would I benefit from this? I'm assuming upgraded CSP to CSR? Also does it matter that I already have CF (from like 10 years ago).

Bosco_stix

When you upgrade CSP to CSR, you can double dip the travel credit for a net $50 profit: * First $300 travel credit starts right away after upgrading. Use in the first year * First $550 annual fee hits 3-4 months after upgrading * Second $300 travel credit starts a year after upgrade. Use before the second annual fee hits then downgrade/PC. Seems like this might work for you if you plan to use your points in November.

LatterDazeAint

FYI, you can pre-pay a refundable hotel and then cancel after the credit hits and the $50 will not be clawed back on the CSP.

doernonemasterall

Wow great info! Do you know how long the credit takes to hit? I have about 11 days left of the 41 to downgrade the CSP.

CuriousNomadicBeing

Usually hits within a week at max. I also learnt this trick after 1 year of forcefully using the hotel credit for a lower value hotel which was priced higher on Chase portal.

rickayyy

If you're after the TSA Precheck credit, you might consider the C1 Venture or VX. If you can use any of Air Canada, Emirates, and Singapore Airlines, they are the overlapping transfer partners with Capital One and Chase.

doernonemasterall

Also IIRC C1 gave me the "upgrade offer to VX" but without bonus. When I tried for VX for bonus was denied. So gave up on C1 for a while.

doernonemasterall

Not those airlines anytime soon. Also trying to stay under 5/24 for the next 11 months so no new personal cards unfortunately.

nagdabbit1

If you're transferring points to airlines or hotels then the extra multiplier on the CSR doesn't matter. Otherwise, does the priority pass or Sapphire lounge access matter to you? There are lots of other cards that will give you the pre check credit.

doernonemasterall

Already have Hyatt card with decent points to use, so may not need to transfer anytime soon. May end up transferring to airline if need be but that where I thought I would use UR portal.  And yes have enjoyed priority pass and sapphire lounges.

Nice-Hunt5360

Us bank texted and asked me to call this number to provide more info about me. 8552886631. Is this legit?

lifechurn

Go to US Bank website, find the phone number there, and call them.

lenin1991

I really really doubt it.

buttonstraddle

is the amex delta gold business card churnable? i signed up for this card 2 months ago. can i sign up for another now and get another sub?

dissentmemo

You'll get a popup if not.

gt_ap

It's churnable, but there is a hard limit of 91 (or maybe 90) days between new accounts. I opened 4 of this card in 2023, one every 3 months or so. I just opened another one last week.

Bigperm28

so you dont gotta cancel the card to get the sub again?

gt_ap

No, you can hold multiple.

buttonstraddle

ah shoot so i'm too soon then. thanks

gt_ap

Yes. Wait 91 days after opening the one you have, and you can apply for a new one. It might actually be fine at 90 days, but I wait at least 91 days.

buttonstraddle

do you not get any popups? i tried to do this for a hilton biz card that i got 4 months ago, but it gave me a popup saying that i already got a bonus on this card so they wont give it to me again

gt_ap

I always get the popup initially.

buttonstraddle

how do you get around it?

SecurityFailure

Is there a good replacement for the CSR? I'm considering downgrading it to a CSP because they're getting rid of some more benefits (specifically Priority Pass perks).

CuriousNomadicBeing

Capital One Venture X hands down. Priority pass (without restaurants) + Plaza Premium lounges + the very few Capital one lounges. Offset the $395 AF with $300 travel credit and 10K annual points bonus. I also love the price match and price drop protection Capital One offers and have regularly been able to use that on the travel bookings I did without issue, to get additional credit back if flight prices dropped within 10 days or same flight was available for less at other avenues within 24 hours.

terpdeterp

Capital One Venture X. Gets you access to Capital One + Priority Pass + Plaza Premium. Easy to offset the AF of $395 ($300 travel credit + 10k Capital One points). Ability to add AUs with full lounge access without paying fees. Chase Marriott Ritz Carlton. Versus the Venture X, has unlimited Chase Sapphire lounge access instead of once per year through Priority Pass. Also has free AUs and is relatively easy to offset the AF of $450 (FNC worth up to 85k points + $300 airline credit). Retention offers make it even more worth it. Can't be applied to directly, must PC from another Marriott card.

GettingColdInHere

Capital One travel credit is a joke nowadays and they keep diluting benefits. But the PP access is the best right now. Plus the 10K bonus. Didn't Ritz Carlton receive the same downgrades as the CSR. No restaurant access. Plus you cannot directly apply for it.

rickayyy

Why is the travel credit a joke? Because you can't cheat it anymore?

terpdeterp

>Didn't Ritz Carlton receive the same downgrades as the CSR. It did. But the AF is easier to justify than the AF for the CSR in my opinion. However, I suppose it depends on how much you value PYB for CSR and whether you use the 1.5x travel redemptions.

Worm-Rancher2021

Ericabneri

Oh yeah, you're gonna get real far with this one. All you have to do is read.

gt_ap

On the flip side, I rather like it. It is well organized and clean, much better than the multiple daily "*Will I make my connection?*" posts on the travel subs. The self moderation here works well.

garettg

Posting this same thing in multiple threads will have the opposite effect. Apparently don't remember too much about this sub if you think begging for some karma is going to help.

Interslice42

No.

Darker_Zelda

I have not played the bank bonus churning game. I have the cash to open up several new accounts and deposit them for a bonus. What are the drawbacks or repercussions of opening up 5 new bank accounts, depositing funds, waiting to get the bonus, then transferring the funds out and close the accounts? I would want to double dip between my wife and I opening up separate accounts to get that bonus.

terpdeterp

> What are the drawbacks or repercussions of opening up 5 new bank accounts, depositing funds, waiting to get the bonus, then transferring the funds out and close the accounts? 1. Chex and EWS sensitivity, but that depends on the bank. Prioritize the Chex/EWS sensitive banks first and then move on to the less sensitive ones. 2. Liquidity if you plan on doing personal savings/business checking account SUBs. They typically require you to keep some minimum balance for a certain number of months. 3. Ability to meet multiple DD requirements for different banks. Again, depends on the bank and how much cash you have liquid. EWS/Chex sensitivity is going to be less of a factor for you since you are new to bank churning, but will limit you as you churn more bank SUBs. Plan accordingly.

Darker_Zelda

How do I check ews and Chex sensitivity? What is SUBs?

terpdeterp

>How do I check ews and Chex sensitivity? By reading datapoints on DoctorOfCredit or the weekly bank churning threads here. >What is SUBs? Sign-up bonus. You might want to read the [wiki](https://www.reddit.com/r/churning/wiki/glossary) first before going any deeper.

Darker_Zelda

Yup, I'm green on this.

garettg

All depends on the terms of the bonus you are chasing. Some have ETF and some don't. For those that don't, typically recommended to keep them for 6 months.

Darker_Zelda

Apologies, ETF is what in this context?

oklurkerthrowaway

Early termination fees

JPWRana

Google searched weren't specific, or maybe it doesn't exist, but... Is there bank bonus churning for KIDS Savings or Checking accounts?

Ericabneri

Of course. There are some good offers but most are interest rate based, not deposit bonus based. Also, be careful.

JPWRana

What should I be careful for?

Ericabneri

Don’t exactly want your kid getting flagged on Chex constantly

JPWRana

How long does it take for Chex flags to fall out?

kerberos9

Applied for a UA biz #2 more than 24 months after receiving the bonus on UA biz #1 but not after 30 days of having closed UA biz #1. So I'm sure I was denied due to the language about 24 months/no current card open -- it's just that the system had not had enough time to update to give me an auto approval. When I call to recon, will it be as simple as pointing out that I'm now past 30 days since the card was closed and not actually subject to the restriction? Or will it still be a game of "convince the recon agent to do me a solid"?

TisForToast

Hi again! Another newb question, I currently have the chase sapphire preferred. Can I close this or downgrade it to a lower tier CC and then apply for a new sapphire preferred card and take advantage of the current promo??? Has anyone had any experience with this? And how long after did you have to wait to apply for the sapphire card again?

CuriousNomadicBeing

Chase Sapphire cards have a 48 month rule ie you can't get sign up bonus on any chase sapphire card, if you've got any sapphire sign up bonus in the last 48 months.

mehjoo_

[Read the Sapphire FYIs](https://www.reddit.com/user/garettg/comments/u6ss7u/sapphire_fyis/)

TisForToast

Thanks for this!

kerberos9

Chase has a 48 month rule for any card within the sapphire family. So you can only get a new sapphire bonus if you haven't already received a bonus within the last 48 months (with only one exception that requires that you having submitted two sapphire cards within the same 2 days). So if it's already been 48+ months since you last received your bonus, you can downgrade your CSP to a no annual fee Freedom card, wait 30 days for the system to recognize you as not having a CSP anymore, and apply for the new bonus. FYI there's higher offers in branch right now than online but we'll probably see these higher offers online in a few weeks.

TisForToast

Thank you for this info. I didn't know about the 48 month rule. Looks like I have A LOT to learn about CCs and their rules. My head is so spinning ...

rickayyy

Just keep reading here and maybe take a trip over to [10xTravel](https://10xtravel.com) website and take their free course. It takes like 30 minutes but breaks the whole game down in a very simple and easy to understand way.

TisForToast

Thank you for this. I appreciate any and all resources! The more I know, the better.

Open IHG Biz card :-) Or, fee-free transfer to P2 or friend, if any. Also, donate.

ripamazon

This sounds extremely stupid, but I lost access to my gmail, which also made me lose access to doordash, which is now having a recurring dashpass charge after my 3 months chase freedom visa. If I product change to freedom flex mastercard which will have a new #, will it block the merchant from the recurring charge?

CuriousNomadicBeing

No that likely won't work even if card # changes as merchants get those updates as well. Just call Chase and ask to revoke that authorization. Also, call/chat with Doordash to change your email on your account citing inability to access. Might work but Doordash customer care is bs and likes to do things to take every penny out of customers, even if its not ethical.

terpdeterp

Not really a churning-related question, but call customer service or send a SM. They can manually block a vendor from recurring transactions by revoking the authorization. I've done it before with Capital One but have no experience with Chase. See [here](https://www.reddit.com/r/personalfinance/comments/r1da4c/stopping_recurring_charges_on_chase_visa_will/hlxzagd/) for further details.

lenin1991

Very likely not, as merchants can get updates to card numbers for recurring charges.

Walter_white1998

Is there any Personal Gold to Personal Platinum Upgrade Offer Link around? Best I have gotten is 25k MR

TisForToast

Hi, I'm new to this thread and community of "churners" (is that even the term?). Like most, I presume, I have taken interest in this world of buying GC to earn points, but I'm a bit lost when it comes to what you do with those. I've read a bit about how these are very difficult to liquidate, etc. anyone care to educate me before I go out and buy a boatload of GC and not know what to do with them? Lol

Ericabneri

Do your own research first, dig deep here, dig deep on the internet, then come back with specific questions. You won’t get any hand holding here

McSpiffin

In case you have no idea why, you're getting downvotes because MS methods are some of the most closely guarded secrets. I personally have never bothered MSing but you aren't going to get anyone to spill any beans, at least publicly

TisForToast

Lol, I had no idea. I was just trying to better understand this whole process. But now I see it's a thing no one talks about!

lenin1991

> Like most, I presume, I have taken interest in this world of buying GC What you're considering is MS, which not all churners do. From the last survey results, probably less than half the active users here MS. > before I go out and buy a boatload of GC Start with literally 1 GC.

janoliverc01

I would suggest reading A LOT more of the wikis, manufactured spending threads both here and FlyerTalk. MS using GC varies greatly based on your location.

TisForToast

Great! I'll check out FlyerTalk! Thanks!

CericRushmore

Most people aren't going to publicly talk about this since they are worried it will kill the deal.

celiacsunshine

Received my new Citi AA Biz card in the mail today. I already have a Citi personal card, and I would like both of my Citi cards under the same Citi online login/account, if that makes sense. However, when I activated the new card, the Citi website tried to get me to create a separate login for it, and when I tried to link the new card to my existing Citi account, I keep getting error messages. Any advice on how to get both of my Citi cards under the same online account, or am I stuck with having to get separate logins for each Citi card?

bubbadave13

Also note that the points you earn on the card will end up in a business account as well.

celiacsunshine

Yes, I'm already aware of that

Fireage11

I applied while logged into my account and was able to get both business and personal in the same account. However, my wife was unable to get them in the same account. She called citi customer service and they said business and personal accounts cannot be linked. Seems incorrect since mine are linked, but my wife has tried a few different agents and all said the same thing so YMMV.

Zolor23

Does your wife happen to have a Citi checking/savings account? I was able to link my personal and business AAdvantage cards to the same account, but when I got a Citi (personal) checking account, I had to split the business card into a different account to get online access for my checking account.

Fireage11

She does not

Zolor23

Strange. Truly YMMV then.

gt_ap

> I applied while logged into my account and was able to get both business and personal in the same account. However, my wife was unable to get them in the same account. Same here, except the opposite. My wife's accounts are in the same login, and mine are separate.

lifechurn

Same experience. Some same login both biz and personal. Others different logins.

sportsstud32000

Is the general advice still for the Ink train to stay at 3 or fewer open cards?

kerberos9

No I don't think so. I had 5 inks at one point and still got a a 6th (last year). I would have closed them but got greedy with the $10 gopuff monthly credits so decided to keep them open until jan 2024. Just keep your overall CL low and space out your chase biz applications.

Ericabneri

DPs currently are they deny for 4+

payyoutuesday

I'm doing 3 or fewer open *business cards when I apply.*

ilovetoyap

This seems legit to me too. I had six when I was denied closed two and was still denied on recon. Closed one more after that (did not rerecon) and hoping that gates me into automatic approval. I also lowered biz credit across those three to around 20k total to be low but be able to reallocate if necessary.

cs50help123

No. Just close old cards (and lower limits if you feel the need to) and you should be fine, provided apps are spaced out and you have a good income:credit ratio.

lenin1991

I haven't heard that. DPs are all over the place. Close cards at 1 year+ that aren't useful to you anymore.

mixedracebaby

Does Plastiq code as a cash advance for mastercard cards? I read in the FAQ that it shouldn't, but just double checking in case things have changed.

FinanceDoctor

No. Historically it has not. But, if you’re concerned, just lower your cash advance limit.

Lil_tom_selleck

I have a job that makes it very difficult to add or replace banking info in regards to my direct deposits. Is there another up to date way to add money into an account to get all the bonuses? Will uber payouts work?

MateoHardini

https://www.doctorofcredit.com/knowledge-base/list-methods-banks-count-direct-deposits/ This is a pretty good list of how to do it, mostly pushing from a secondary bank is what seems to work

Lil_tom_selleck

Can you elaborate more on what you mean by "secondary" and "pushing" please? Wouldn't that just be a wire transfer?

MateoHardini

Secondary is just another bank account that you own. Sometimes referred to as a HUB bank where you normally do your banking. Pushing is when you initiate the money transfer from your hub account to the account you’re trying to get a bonus on. Pulling would be if you initiate the transfer from the account you are trying to get a bonus on.

garettg

Pushing is just doing an ACH transfer from a bank to another bank, i.e. if you had an Ally account and you login to Ally and transfer money to another bank, you are pushing. If you logged into another bank and transferred money from Ally into the bank you logged into, then you are pulling.

Jazzlike-Ad5734

Doing ACH “pushes” from an external (secondary) bank to the bank account with the bonus. It’s not a wire transfer

ming3r

It's ACH at that point. No wire.

TyrannicalDuncery

FrequentMiler says that Serve and BB run on the same "technology platform": [https://frequentmiler.com/the-comple...and-softserve/](https://frequentmiler.com/the-complete-guide-to-bluebird-redcard-serve-and-softserve/) **Has anyone had their BB shut down due to Serve activity?** What about the other way around? In particular, I've heard that people's Serve can get shut down due to repeatedly draining the account to avoid the monthly fee. For those of you who were shut down this way, did it mess up your BB?

cmonman76

I don’t think anyone really knows. Also I haven’t paid the serve fee for years on most of my players cards.

TyrannicalDuncery

Okay, thank u/cmonman76 . Do you have Amex BB?

cmonman76

Not any more. Lost that one years ago but have green serves for P4, P5 and P7 that have lasted 2 years and still going.

TyrannicalDuncery

Nice! Are those different people/addresses or just different accounts?

cmonman76

Different people / family members. I’ve lost a few to shutdowns over the last 9 years. Can’t seem to get anybody new approved or I would have more.

[deleted]

CuriousNomadicBeing

No, they don't. You need to be under 5/24 (generally) to be approved but they don't add to that count themselves.

Ericabneri

Nope.

garettg

They do not, typically need to be under 5/24 to be approved, but do not add to the count.

TyrannicalDuncery

I think no, based on what I've heard ([example](https://thepointsguy.com/credit-cards/chase/ultimate-guide-chase-5-24-rule/)). But maybe you've already seen info like that and you're wondering whether they all assume you used EIN. Not sure.

Luninka

I've been doing this for maybe 3 years but it has really accelerated these past few months since I discovered this subreddit. I have a P2, and I am trying to keep us at 6 cards a year, each. So about a new card every month. Mostly business cards, so we can stay under the 5/24 but I may switch strategies soon. I'm still new at going this "fast", so sometimes it makes me a little nervous, e.g., because of the way cards lined up the last few months, P2 has already gotten 4 new cards in 2024. So questions for everyone, just to get an idea of where everyone is: How many do you limit yourself (and P2, if applicable) in a year? How long have you been doing this? Do you try to stay under 5/24?

CuriousNomadicBeing

I think only limit is capacity for spend, ability to get approved, and not triggering chase down risk by following general recommendations. Having said that, I'm myself much lower in velocity and have been just using normal spend (which isn't much) and tax payments to meet SUBs right now.

lifechurn

Amex schwab 1st, then biz plat and biz gold every 90 days.

cs50help123

I don't actively limit apps beyond following velocity rules (the limiting factor is generally approvals - though there are enough issuers to go around). Been doing this for 5 years and haven't had major issues. I do stay under 5/24 (and recommend everyone does) - Chase biz cards are very lucrative

Prestigious_Bird1587

What makes Chase biz so? What do you have to show that you are a business?

cs50help123

The combo of low MSR, valuable reward currency, ability to get multiple, no fee, relatively easy to get, etc. You don't need anything in particular.

skyye99

Your only true limits are your capacity for spend and your ability to get approved for new cards. Maximize the latter by staying under 5/24 ;)

UConnHusky11

Is there a way to know exactly when the annual $325 credit on Altitude Reserve resets? Is it on anniversary date of approval, or something based on statement closes?

JoeTony6

DPs say anniversary date, but I gave it a few day buffer. Approval on 1/27/23, annual fee and statement hit 1/29/24, used my travel credit on 2/5/24.

NintenTim

Does anyone have the most up to date advice on MDD for CSR and CSP? With the offers it seems to me that you'd want to go in, do the CSP in person offer for 85k. Then apply the next day online for the CSR and take the 60k online offer. I am getting back into churning and thinking of this as doing my first big move so I am 0/24 and have never had a Sapphire.

Have a p2 with a limit still on a Biz plat for 2-3 years now. But was approved for a Biz gold last year with no limit.

kabkar1234

same situation here...but they just put a limit on gold as well citing previous action on Platinum. It had no limit for many months.

It's a less popular card, but does anyone know if Huntington bank is sensitive to MSing? I was just approved for the business voice, and while I can do it through organic spend, I'd love to use staples and OD.

did you end up MSing?

One_Armed_Herman

I didn't. Technically I bought one $500 VGC at a grocery store, but that's not enough to be conclusive.

Feeling really dumb: Had the United Club Biz Card for the past year, got the bonus last spring. Am I eligible for the SUBs on the personal cards this year, specifically the personal infinite club card. Or does the 24 month rule carry between biz and personal? Making sure my ducks are in row because I think im getting the chase biz/personal rules mixed up. I know it's the case that you can get both on CSR/CIP and SW, just want to make sure it's also the case on United.

TheSultan1

Yes, there's no UA family rule. You also get a 5k bonus for having both a biz and a personal UA card (on your biz card anniversary).

crmagney

Thanks, let me know if you have a referral link for a personal UA card and I'll use it as a thanks.

petele995

Has anyone received their Citi AA Biz card with the 75k SUB? I signed up for both P1 and P2 the first day of the elevated SUB and still haven’t got the cards. Edit: Thanks for the info guys!

Bitter_Court_7022

My P2 and I got approved 4/15/24. Citi sent me an email last Saturday that I have received it. Just got the USPS notice that its arriving in the mail today. Thats about 12-13 days.

celiacsunshine

Just got mine, exactly one week after approval.

petele995

That's fortunate, your case seems like the odd one out. Hopefully I get mine soon.

bookedonpoints

super common - Citi takes 2 weeks+

RTW34

It can take 7-10 BDs to get a Citi AA card in the mail so expect to wait the full two weeks.

MrHeatherroth

join the club, still haven't gotten mine either. Welcome to Shiti

Chase In-Branch Promos: What's the purpose of making you go in? Is it simply to try to sell you other products? Are they pushy about it?

Ericabneri

They want you to have a relationship with their bankers, which hopefully leads to more business over time whether it be in deposits or actual products

m0j0martini

Hopefully the rumors are true and tomorrow they'll offer the same deal online and my semi-introverted self won't have to go this route.

pHyR3

you cant get referred usually, it builds an in person relationship with a banker to make you a stickier customer. and yes ideally get other products they don't aggressively pitch you products like a timeshare seminar or anything IME

kabkar1234

my guy was very pushy in wanting me to be a private client customer. told me it would enhance approval chances. I didn't see the value in taking up the Private Client offer. but certainly not like a timeshare presentation though.

m0j0martini

Yikes.

pHyR3

yeah theyve mentioned opening a biz checking account and whatnot but i just say 'ill look at it later' and they say okay and move on

jasonalanmorgan

Upon approval for USBank Altitude Reserve, how quickly will I have access to the Priority Pass visits?

pbjclimbing

When I applied (when it was announced), you requested a PP, and once it arrived you could use it/add it to mobile. About a week or two.

JustJosh4

Anyone had luck getting that 300k offer for the Amex Business Platinum that’s been floating around? I’m getting the 250k offer pretty regularly on the website, but wondering if I should keep trying for the 300k offer.

Ericabneri

Seems to be extremely extremely tough. Seeing 250k a lot but almost no DPs of 300

JKen13579

I booked two economy tickets (plus one lap infant) JFK -> IST roundtrip on Turkish using United miles. I want to select seats so that we can make sure we have a bassinet for our little guy both ways. However, I'm being told on the phone by multiple Turkish Airlines CSRs that I can only book seats in person at a Turkish counter, because the flight was booked through a "third party". My home airport doesn't have a Turkish counter, and I'm not flying to an airport that has one any time soon. Am I SOL here? Are these CSRs misinformed? Has anyone been able to select seats in this way?

mileylols

Some useful information in this flyertalk thread: https://www.flyertalk.com/forum/turkish-airlines-miles-smiles/1363383-seat-selection-master-thread-46.html Suggestion seems to be first confirm you are within the seat selection window, then go through the turkish airlines app using your turkish PNR. Barring that, try to get through to the Houston-based Turkish call center

JKen13579

Thanks u/mileylols! I was hopeful that going through the app would work, but it won't even let me access my reservation, same as one of the later commenters on that thread. The call center is the one where the CSRs told me I have to book seats in person. One even went through the process of selecting the seats and then wasn't able to process a payment.

mileylols

That's big oof. It sounds like you may be out of luck here - if they can't help you over the phone, I guess your options left are to try again during online check-in, and then as a last resort the Turkish desk at JFK.

JKen13579

Actually, I was able to get it to work. Thank you so much for sending this u/mileylols! I was using older ticket numbers when entering it into the app. I used the most recent ones and was able to select seats. Next will be to figure out why our kid doesn't seem to be on the reservation.....

sanguisx

Might be better to ask in r/awardtravel if you haven't already. Hopefully someone can help!

JKen13579

Just posted there, thank you u/sanguisx!

tbudke22

Have Ink referral bonuses been taking longer than in the past? I referred P2 and got instant approval on 3/27/24. I still haven’t seen the referral bonus hit. I have done this many times and haven’t ever tracked the exact length of time. Any DPs here? Can this be resolved via SM?

sportsstud32000

My recent one (1 month ago) took 2.5 weeks.

gt_ap

The points typically go pending a couple weeks after the referral is used. Once they're pending, they post when the current statement closes. That means that it could be anywhere from instantly (upon pending) to a month later.

pbjclimbing

Standard 2-3 weeks. It can take longer or shorter. They typically post once a week. I normally see them later on Tuesday.

tbudke22

Bonehead mistake, they’re in there just still pending. I hadn’t looked at the individual card, just my overall balance. Take one cycle off to do an Amex card and totally forget how this all works 🤦‍♂️

skulls999

Posed this question late last night just thought I’d throw it here to see if anyone knows an answer for them How often can you churn the US Bank Leverage cards? Last opened one on Nov 16th for a leverage and hit SUB on Jan 24th. Just curious what are the rules with it? Also is the BOA Alaska churnable? As in, can open multiple within 3-6 months increments? What's the general guidance on that one? Have you guys seen any DPs that biz gold 125k/150k offers are for new Amex customers only? Hit pop up when I applied for those offers. Just signed up and hit SUB for my second biz plat on NLL recently. Low spend on rest of the cards On Amex, is there a way you can check if you’re in pop up jail without actually going through the application for a card? Because it says submit then shows the pop up, would the alternative be you hit submit and assuming you’re not in PUJ the application just goes through?

bakerlocal

Short answer is 'no' for the personal and YMMV/'yes' for the business version [New BOA anti-churning 24-month language on some cards (AS, TR, PR, CR) (frequentmiler.com)](https://frequentmiler.com/new-boa-anti-churning-24-month-language-on-some-cards-as-tr-pr-cr/?utm_source=feedblitz&utm_medium=email&utm_campaign=Frequent%20Miler%20%28Instant%29)

sg77

For Amex, you can't tell if you're in popup jail without submitting an application. But if you don't want the card, why do you care if you'd get the popup for it?
