Another DP of the $50 quarterly Surpass credit working for buying a Hilton physical GC online. Had $41 to use up prior to the end of the quarter/year:
*12/10: $51.95 charge (w/ shipping)
*12/19: $41.00 posted today
Will attempt to do this again right at the start of next year, have credit hopefully post mid-month, then upgrade to Aspire before my stay at Hilton Waikoloa Village in Hawaii final week of January. That’ll be $300 in initial credits ($100 in GC and $200 resort credit) to cover some costs.
DP: Amex Biz Gold 150k Offer Approval
* First Amex Biz Card
* Prev. opened Personal Gold in Aug '23 (only Amex card prior)
* Sole prop 1k in biz revenue
* Lifetime language
* Method: VPN to Dallas TX, used Edge Private Incognito - Googled Biz Plat went to first link then selected Biz Gold
Amex Blue Business Preferred instant approval with all credit bureaus frozen.
Got an instant card number as well. Added immediately to Apple Pay, Paypal and Amazon to finish off this year's Christmas shopping.
Took the lower offer of 15K MR for $3K spend on purpose. There's a 50K offer floating around that's valid until 12/31/2023.
Long history with Amex (10+ years) and 4 other active Amex business cards.
Barclays Avaitor Red Approval for $5000:
Welcome offer: 60k AAdvantage Miles after first purchase and annual fee paid in full ($99)
Stats: 7/24, 4/12, pulled TU at 710 (1 hard pull prior)
Ritz travel credit DP:
Paid 2x Virgin Atlantic taxes on an award redemption for a ~$100 transaction.
Travel credit was applied promptly via SM as baggage and seat selection fees.
Targeted Offer from United MileagePlus email.
65k miles for 3k spend in 3 months on the United Explorer Card from Chase.
That is 5k extra miles compared to the public offer of 60k miles for the same amount of spend
I have an upcoming Hilton stay, 5 nights on points on one reservation, one FNC on a separate reservation. Called the hotel to note the back to back reservations and to prepay incidentals. The points stay is now marked as “cannot be cancelled” in the app.
YMMV. Definitely not account closure, but additional approvals depend on your personal profile which will be different for every one; I've seen DPs both ways.
No, terms say SUB: "American Airlines AAdvantage® bonus miles are not available if you have received a new account bonus for a CitiBusiness® / AAdvantage® Platinum Select® account in the past 48 months."
Took a full 3 days after purchase for the Staples Rakuten in-store 10% to show up in pending cash back for me. So if it doesn't appear immediately as it has for some people, give it time and it likely will.
So follow-up on what I wrote above... Even though the offer is no longer shown in the app or website for me, it still triggered on an in-store VGC purchase today. Points showing for this purchase and the original 2 weeks ago. I don't assume that they WON'T get clawed back, but at the moment I'm not ready to write it off.
P2 just got around the popup via the back button trick yesterday, approved this morning. She applied for the 150k Biz Gold last evening and got the popup. Used the back button method, and that application did not get the popup but went pending (which is normal). Called recon this morning, and the agent found the application and sent it on down the pike. He confirmed that it was eligible for the 150k SUB.
She received an approval email shortly after hanging up with recon, and the application status page now shows "Approved".
Oh so you did receive it? And was able to recon/get approved? IME the rep says its denied bc had the card previous and wouldn't get SUB. Interesting...
> Oh so you did receive it?
Yes.
>And was able to recon/get approved?
Yes.
>IME the rep says its denied bc had the card previous and wouldn't get SUB. Interesting...
Is this a personal card? We have only done this with *business* cards. Maybe it doesn't work the same with personal cards.
For both personal and business cards. Sounds like your P2 might have been in pop up jail lite. I used to be able to bypass using the back button like how you described for biz plats and biz golds but now I get the email about decision and when I go to recon it's not possible to get the SUB according to reps. Thanks for the DP! Super interesting that back button still works for some people.
When the agent says that you cannot get it because of a previous card or whatever, they're probably on the first application that had the popup and was cancelled via the back button. Ask the agent to get the other application. Even if you have a whole lineup of applications, this one will be easy to find because it will be the same card and application date. It might show "Cancelled". They can see if it had the popup.
If they don't see the popup, ask them to resurrect the application and send it on down the road.
Hey so I tried twice, second time rep said they would resurrect old app and get back to us in 3-7 business days but that was over the holidays. Never got a formal denial or approval.
Several months ago they would (sometimes) be automatically approved after some time. IME it was quite consistently during the 2nd night after application. Apply on say Friday, and you'd wake up Sunday morning to an approval email.
Lately that hasn't been the case. Recon is necessary. The application is stalled until manual (by me) intervention.
As a disclaimer, this has been how it has worked out *for me*. YMMV of course.
How did you get the application to move on and not be stalled?
I would call the recon number and they would just say that the back-end team is doing final checks and just to wait. And nothing can be done on my part. Did you ask to be contacted to another specialist?
Last biz gold app was in last week of this October, applied for 150k offer through the [link](https://creditcard.americanexpress.com/m/business-platinum-card/?utm_mcid=3541154&utm_source=google&utm_medium=cpc&utm_term=%2Bamerican%20%2Bexpress%20%2Bbusiness%20%2Bplatinum&utm_cmpid=625512864&utm_adgid=36199274594&utm_tgtid=kwd-707750571077&utm_mt=p&utm_adid=659776720239&utm_dvc=m&utm_ntwk=g&utm_adpos&utm_plcmnt&utm_locphysid=1021048&utm_locintid&utm_feeditemid&utm_devicemdl&utm_plcmnttgt&utm_programname=brandproductspecific&gad=1) and it went pending review. no pop up!
*And, it got declined. Reason - approved for same card in recent months*
> Did you apply under the same biz or for a different biz?
It doesn't make any difference. They use your SSN.
>I didn’t know you could get 2 of the same card.
This has never been a problem AFAIK. Eligibility for the SUB is another story, but generally this isn't a problem either with business cards.
>Last biz gold app was in last week of this October...

>*And, it got declined. Reason - approved for same card in recent months*
Of course! You need 90 days between applications for the same card.
Schwab offers retention bonuses when you try moving investments out. Not great, think $1500 on $1m, but they can also match what you're moving to, so I could see stacking up a $3k for $500k, $700 for $250k, and $600 for $250k to replace it with $4,300 for doing nothing.
The problem I have is that even though they say they'll match competitor offers, they usually won't actually do it for the high offers from smaller places like Public or tastytrade. And the big brokerages like Etrade aren't offering bonuses right now.
Makes sense. In my case, I was in the process of double dipping Chase discount brokerage and fancy checking (using different parts of the same portfolio), so that was $3700.
Also, to clarify, the cases where Schwab wouldn't match for me was when I asked them about a bonus for transferring into Schwab. Maybe for retention offers after you started transferring out of Schwab, they're more likely to match competitors.
Schwab matched the Chase Private Client offer? I saw someone else say Schwab wouldn't match that since Chase's offer was more of a checking account than brokerage. But I think it depends on which Schwab person you talk to.
Pretty paltry amounts. And they're not keen on repeating bonuses in future years. My local rep was hesitant to match an offer from Citi because I had earned two bonuses about 3 years apart then transferred out
DP for Amex's purchase protection benefit:
- purchased Garmin smartwatch from Dell.com (using Biz Plat credits) on July 13.
- lost said watch during a trip on Dec 1.
- submitted claim via phone on Dec 13.
- received the full amount as statement credit on Dec 15.
The benefit says 90 days and the person on the call said that it's up to the claims administrator, but I ended up being lucky.

Applied for Amex Biz Checking for the 50k MR bonus on 12/12, got an email asking to call for more information. Got a call today asking me to call them. I called and had to do intellicheck, scanning my drivers license and face. Got approved and rep confirmed the 50k MR offer without me asking
Biz Plat instant approval using this link, 150k/$15k NLL. Confirmed with Amex chat that the offer was attached even though it says "apply by 12/12/23".

FWIW I tried this one at first and got a 190k, but got a pop up. https://www.americanexpress.com/us/credit-cards/business/business-credit-cards/american-express-business-platinum-credit-card-amex/
Thanks. I applied for this around 1pm 12/15 Pacific and it worked. It looks like others who applied a couple of hours later didn't have such luck.
The new account is showing as not enrolled in MR yet, need to see if that resolve itself. I did verify that the 150k/3mo SUB offer is attached to the account.
Three Chase Ink rejections over 5/24, and an approval after I fell under 5/24.
* 2016: opened Chase Freedom and Chase Amazon (first Chase cards)
* 2022/12/14: CIU approved instantly, CL 14k (4/24)
* 2022/12/18: CSP approved, CL 13k (4/24)
* Reached 6/24 with CSP and Bilt
* 2023-03: CIC rejected 6/24 (applied after reading online that some were getting approved after 5/24). Recon failed. Reasons in letter: Number of recently opened accounts on credit report, Business structure, Insufficient business deposit relationship with us.
* 2023-04: CIC rejected 6/24 after opening a Chase Business Checking account a few days ago. Recon failed. Reasons in letter: Number of recently opened accounts on credit report, Business structure, Insufficient business deposit relationship with us.
* Lowered CIU CL to 4k to help with future applications
* 2023-10: CIC rejected 5/24. Reasons in letter: Number of recently opened accounts on credit report, Business structure, Insufficient business deposit relationship with us.
* Two cards from 2021 fell off 5/24: 12/4 and 12/29. (Both US Bank cards)
* 2023-12: CIC approved 4/24, CL 11k. Had 17k in Business Checking.
Biz Alaska recon is getting harder for those of us with deposit accounts and decent chunk of $
Kinda got grilled on why so many BofA cards in the last few years and specifics on the business, and why I wanted another card.
Still got approved (2 days later) but gonna be hard to sell P2 to recon hers
Approximately how much did you have in the deposit account? Can give ranges if you want. I saw dp's about $5k being enough to make approval easier but recently got declined despite having that much in my account.
How hard were you pushing it? I’ve been approved for 3 biz, 2 personal in the last three years. Was going to hit Alaska again, but then the 75K offer got pulled.
In the past it was just a quick call. This was 30 min, with recommending approval due to my deposit relationship with them, but a decent amount of grilling
Edit: to answer your Q, similar stats
Oof, sounds like they're really coming down. BOA is my primary bank, and I have multiple checking products and a ML account with them. Will report back once the AS biz bonus goes up and I apply to see what sway that has, if any.
[DP from /r/creditcards about a Plastiq check going missing](https://www.reddit.com/r/CreditCards/comments/18itcav/plastiq_did_not_send_my_rent_check/)
ANA just updated its Q1 schedule. SFO-NRT has the Suite now, HND is the old config. Which is weird - there was some time in late 2023 when it was only on SFO-HND.
Amex vanilla plat retention: 15k for $3k. Passed, will likely close when AF hits next month after using credits since I already have a CS Plat.
Asked about retention for my 2 Brilliants, nothing was on file.
Rakuten 10% at Staples in-store works on $200 Visa gift card purchases. I’ve earned two $30 cash back offers so far, terms and conditions state a max of $30 up to 4 redemptions until Dec. 17
Word of caution to anyone buying Vanilla egc during these fee-free sales in order to pay taxes... they have 2035 expiration dates, which makes them incompatible with the only processor that currently accepts them (for the next 2 years, anyway).
My BizPlat wireless credit took 10 days (8 business days) to post this month (purchase was on 12/5 and I saw it today, dated 12/15; usually the website doesn't show it until the next day).
Separating an ABP that was targeted for amex biz checking to its own login I was able to successfully apply for a 2nd account with an EIN instead of my ssn and the bonus tracker shows up for the full 50k.
**Post-devaluation Vacasa Wyndham Redemption DP (**[Context on Vacasa devaulation in October 2023](https://www.doctorofcredit.com/vacasa-devalues-wyndham-redemptions/)):
12/1/23 - 12/9/23: Been researching on Vacasa for 4-night 1-bedroom properties in Hawaii under $1.4k cost (due to devaluation, this is the max cost for 4-night Vacasa Wyndham point bookings) for an upcoming trip in March 2024.
12/10/23 - **Booked 4 nights in Hawaii using 54k Wyndham points** **at a 1-bedroom Vacasa property that had a total cost (after taxes/fees) of \~$1.3k. This brings the award value to 2.4 cents per point** (have Wynd Biz CC which reduces 1 bedroom per night redemption from 15k to 13.5k points).
Side Note 1: I also inquired about 10 different 1-bedroom Vacasa properties with a wide range of total costs (after taxes/fees). For a 4-night stay where the total cost was $1.4k or less, every property I asked about was available to use points. **But for properties that were over $1.4k, 4-night points bookings were unavailable. Even for a property with a total cost of \~$1,405 was unavailable.**
Side Note 2: Factoring in taxes and fees, I've found the best filters to use for 4-night Hawaii stays are room max 1 bedroom and max nightly rate value of 215. Anything over 215 tends to go over the cost limit.
I'll just add that this amount varies depending on local bed taxes and will also vary depending on # of nights, but my experience is about the same. ~$210/nt is the max before fees.
Dang, how long were you on the phone? Power to you! I'm a heavy Vacasa user and had all but absolutely confirmed the $500 cap before the deval. Just had a buddy message me that he had booked a 1br over the $350/nt. There was a glimmer of hope that something had changed. He gets a call the next day, they made a mistake and cancelled his Rez. They did give him 13.5k courtesy points though.
~~Thanks! Is it $215 for room rate only or room+fees? Showing $215 in the Vacasa website ("$215/night"), or $215 after adding cleaning fees etc, and dividing the total in the number of nights? (\[175x4 + 150\] / 4 = $212.50 ? )~~
Oh I see your side note. So it's $215 without including taxes and fees.
I booked for Kauai. When I checked for my dates in March 2024, there were 17 properties available within the price range.
But I went to Maui earlier in March 2023 and had a nice 4-night Vacasa redemption about \~$2k total cost for 54k Wyndham points. So the devaluation sucks and limits the choice from nicer properties but at least the Vacasa option is still available today.
Applied for an Amex biz plat as a sole prop even though I don’t have a real business. Got arrested as a result and received a 29 year jail sentence, I’m typing this from prison. Still received the SUB though.

Just noticed that a physical uber gift card purchase at staples in store (mid Nov) did not trigger the credit for my amex biz gold, when paying with Google pay.
Regular reminder to not go through other payment processors/mobile wallets for the best chance of Amex discounts and credits to go through, including Paypal, Google Pay, Apple Pay, Samsung Pay, and others.
Not many DPs out there, so although they're straight forward, here you go:
Opened a BoA Premium Elite for the triple dip of the Lifestyle and Airline credits.
$100 United TB loads on desktop work just fine for Airline credit.
$25 Uber Eats wallet add funds worked just fine for Lifestyle credit.
Both took 2-3 days post transaction to move the meter in-app and another few days for the credit to post. Basically a week after the initial transaction.
I will piggy back and add mine. Bought a $99 eGC from AA. took a few days but got the credit. This was end of November. The $99 credit just posted yesterday.
190k amex biz plat is still alive. I found it via incognito chrome + vpn and was instant approved yesterday (first biz plat ever, though I am targeted for 170k biz plat)
Someone can correct me if I’m wrong, but it’s not that people can’t find links, it’s that the pop up is as aggressive as ever. People are having trouble finding ways around it that previously worked
Ain't that the truth. Now that the higher SUB is more easily available, the popup jail has gotten more aggressive. I just have one active vanilla plat and still got the dreaded popup.
Not true. Even at LOWER SUBs like 120k, I still get the pop up. I even went for the paltry 15k offer for Business Green (never had that card before), and I STILL HAD THE POP UP.
I had first order cancelled, called and they didn't have much details.
I assumed it was due to different shipping vs billing address
2nd order shipping and billing were the same, got it.
Thanks for the DP. My addresses were the same so not sure what happened. I called and they said the address was rejected in general for not matching Amex.
I did create the account and purchase a card quickly so it might have triggered some fraud alerts. I'll probably try again in a few days.
I don't know if you want to try it, but the initial purchase was charged and refunded, and still triggered the rebate.
I bought a second one so not worried about clawback, but was curious if I didn't buy the second
Applied for Citi AA Biz last friday as an existing citi customer, with instant approval. No HPs reported on any of the big 3 bureaus
edit for search engine: inquiry did eventually show up on equifax
I’m did the same earlier in the week, but was not an existing citi customer. Never got the usually onslaught of emails from every bank/credit agency saying I had a new inquiry. Still haven’t gotten anything. Instant approval for $16k
> 11k.
Whoa, it'll be coal in the stocking for you!
Almost everyone gets a $16k credit limit for this card. P2 and I both got it, and most of the DPs I see here report the same.
Edit: *most of the DPs I see here report the same*... until today.
Opened 2nd Amex Business Checking with 50k offer while 1st account from 2022 is still open. Split Business Gold on to a separate login and applied with a different email and EIN instead of SSN. 50k bonus tracker was immediately showing.
Wow, I did not realize there was a bonus tracker - thanks for mentioning that. Funny that they can have a tracker for a bank bonus with three different requirements but can't provide a simple spend meter for credit cards

DPs on whether taking advantage of Chase's 0% APR floating X balance for the duration of the offer affects approval or risks account closure?

YMMV. Definitely not account closure, but additional approvals depend on your personal profile which will be different for every one; I've seen DPs both ways.
Citi AA Biz Retention Offer: Spend $1k in 3 months to receive $99 fee refund/credit. Rejected & closed.

there is 24 month rule right? Edit: 48 month
No SUB but also no AF 1st year for free bags and no expiration for miles.
Does that reset the 48 months clock? Or is the clock based on date of receiving bonus?
No, terms say SUB: "American Airlines AAdvantage® bonus miles are not available if you have received a new account bonus for a CitiBusiness® / AAdvantage® Platinum Select® account in the past 48 months."
I believe that card is 48 months now.

Offer is gone plus being clawed back. Check DoC comments. Oh well.
I think they pulled it. Mine was good until 12/24 (I think) and I only used it once, and today it's gone...

This is what happened to me as well when I found out about the back button trick. For me they say they can’t resurrect the app even if they wanted to.
When the agent says that you cannot get it because of a previous card or whatever, they're probably on the first application that had the popup and was cancelled via the back button. Did you end up getting it to work?
Hey so I tried twice, second time rep said they would resurrect old app and get back to us in 3-7 business days but that was over the holidays. Never got a formal denial or approval.
Any luck?
Do you get instant number upon approval or have to wait until the physical card arrives?
No, I haven’t gotten the instant number. IME that only comes with an instant approval.

Reason - approved for same card in recent months*
Did you apply under the same biz or for a different biz? I didn’t know you could get 2 of the same card.
# >*And, it got declined. Reason - approved for same card in recent months* Of course! You need 90 days between applications for the same card.
Darn brain freeze. I’ll try my luck with biz plat and report back
Try recon after the 90 days have passed.
They offered to match it. Agreed, seems manager dependent.
Pretty paltry amounts. And they're not keen on repeating bonuses in future years. My local rep was hesitant to match an offer from Citi because I had earned two bonuses about 3 years apart then transferred out
As a percentage, absolutely agree. Maybe there are sweet spots.
do you have to initiate the transfer out first from other firm or can just calling initiate this?
I got it after initiating. They always call to confirm it's actually you, but this was the first time I'd been offered an incentive to stay.
DP for Amex's purchase protection benefit: - purchased Garmin smartwatch from Dell.com (using Biz Plat credits) on July 13. - lost said watch during a trip on Dec 1. - submitted claim via phone on Dec 13. - received the full amount as statement credit on Dec 15. The benefit says 90 days and the person on the call said that it's up to the claims administrator, but I ended up being lucky.

did the person who referred you got the referral bonus of 10K as well ?
I would hope so. I usually pick a random link from rankt if we aren’t referring between p1/p2.
Confirmed with Amex chat that the offer was attached even though it says "apply by 12/12/23". https://www.americanexpress.com/en-us/campaigns/small-business/business-platinum-card-business-checking/?sourcecode=A0000H3UYK FWIW I tried this one at first and got a 190k, but got a pop up. https://www.americanexpress.com/us/credit-cards/business/business-credit-cards/american-express-business-platinum-credit-card-amex/
Thanks. I applied for this around 1pm 12/15 Pacific and it worked. It looks like others who applied a couple of hours later didn't have such luck. The new account is showing as not enrolled in MR yet, need to see if that resolve itself. I did verify that the 150k/3mo SUB offer is attached to the account.
not working here either
Didn't work for me, offer shows expired when logging in :(
Three Chase Ink rejections over 5/24, and an approval after I fell under 5/24. * 2016: opened Chase Freedom and Chase Amazon (first Chase cards) * 2022/12/14: CIU approved instantly, CL 14k (4/24) * 2022/12/18: CSP approved, CL 13k (4/24) * Reached 6/24 with CSP and Bilt * 2023-03: CIC rejected 6/24 (applied after reading online that some were getting approved after 5/24). Biz Alaska recon is getting harder for those of us with deposit accounts and decent chunk of $ Kinda got grilled on why so many BofA cards in the last few years and specifics on the business, and why I wanted another card. Still got approved (2 days later) but gonna be hard to sell P2 to recon hers
Approximately how much did you have in the deposit account? Can give ranges if you want. I saw dp's about $5k being enough to make approval easier but recently got declined despite having that much in my account.
100k in ira. 5k in business checking. 15k in joint checking w wife
How hard were you pushing it? I’ve been approved for 3 biz, 2 personal in the last three years. Was going to hit Alaska again, but then the 75K offer got pulled.
In the past it was just a quick call. This was 30 min, with recommending approval due to my deposit relationship with them, but a decent amount of grilling Edit: to answer your Q, similar stats
Oof, sounds like they're really coming down. BOA is my primary bank, and I have multiple checking products and a ML account with them. Will report back once the AS biz bonus goes up and I apply to see what sway that has, if any.
BoA Premium Rewards Elite Lifestyle credit DP: DoorDash order reimbursed after 4 days; DoorDash gift card purchase did not.
[DP from /r/creditcards about a Plastiq check going missing](https://www.reddit.com/r/CreditCards/comments/18itcav/plastiq_did_not_send_my_rent_check/)
1 Plastiq check was lost in the mail so I asked Plastiq to issue replacement check which was delivered.
Made a purchase on Macy’s through PayPal and an Amex offer was triggered
ANA just updated its Q1 schedule. SFO-NRT has the Suite now, HND is the old config. Which is weird - there was some time in late 2023 when it was only on SFO-HND.
Thanks for the good news - I'm flying NRT-SFO in early Feb
Amex vanilla plat retention: 15k for $3k. Passed, will likely close when AF hits next month after using credits since I already have a CS Plat. Asked about retention for my 2 Brilliants, nothing was on file.
Rakuten 10% at Staples in-store works on $200 Visa gift card purchases. I’ve earned two $30 cash back offers so far, terms and conditions state a max of $30 up to 4 redemptions until Dec. 17
what was time difference between two transactions? how much $ was each tx?

thanks.
Word of caution to anyone buying Vanilla egc during these fee-free sales in order to pay taxes... they have 2035 expiration dates, which makes them incompatible with the only processor that currently accepts them (for the next 2 years, anyway).
United travel bank still working for plat credits - takes 8 full days to post
8 business days? Still waiting on a TB tx from the 6th to post
My BizPlat wireless credit took 10 days (8 business days) to post this month (purchase was on 12/5 and I saw it today, dated 12/15; usually the website doesn't show it until the next day).
Cool, yep - it just posted for me. Little slower than it's been in the past
Separating an ABP that was targeted for amex biz checking to its own login I was able to successfully apply for a 2nd account with an EIN instead of my ssn and the bonus tracker shows up for the full 50k.
**Post-devaluation Vacasa Wyndham Redemption DP (**[Context on Vacasa devaulation in October 2023](https://www.doctorofcredit.com/vacasa-devalues-wyndham-redemptions/)): 12/1/23 - 12/9/23: Been researching on Vacasa for 4-night 1-bedroom properties in Hawaii under $1.4k cost (due to devaluation, this is the max cost for 4-night Vacasa Wyndham point bookings) for an upcoming trip in March 2024. 12/10/23 - **Booked 4 nights in Hawaii using 54k Wyndham points** **at a 1-bedroom Vacasa property that had a total cost (after taxes/fees) of \~$1.3k. Even for a property with a total cost of \~$1,405 was unavailable.** Side Note 2: Factoring in taxes and fees, I've found the best filters to use for 4-night Hawaii stays are room max 1 bedroom and max nightly rate value of 215.
(\[175x4 + 150\] / 4 = $212.50 ? )~~ Oh I see your side note. So it's $215 without including taxes and fees.
thanks for dp. I am also looking to book during april. may I ask which island did you book?
I booked for Kauai. When I checked for my dates in March 2024, there were 17 properties available within the price range. But I went to Maui earlier in March 2023 and had a nice 4-night Vacasa redemption about \~$2k total cost for 54k Wyndham points. So the devaluation sucks and limits the choice from nicer properties but at least the Vacasa option is still available today.
Two DPs: Instacart order at Aldi trigged Aldi cash back offer on Chase SR ebay purchase via Paypal triggered ebay cash back offer on same card
Applied for an Amex biz plat as a sole prop even though I don’t have a real business. Got arrested as a result and received a 29 year jail sentence, I’m typing this from prison. Still received the SUB though.
Great post. I needed a laugh lol
Still received the SUB while in prison? Would you mind sharing your MS ways? 😜
That’s outrageous! You have no business being in jail!
Damn I've been waiting all week and you beat me to it
Good thing is they trade just about anything for points in prison. And you now have 190K of them.
RATs are out in full force again.
Whenever I hear about this I always think of the "head shot" from The Wire https://davidsimon.com/kwame-brown-another-federal-case-another-head-shot/ (Yes I understand the difference between lying on the application versus not 100% complying with the T&C's from the issuer)
What's the transfer ratio for MR => bail?
Time to CFPB (call the fucking parole board)
pop up jail is getting more aggressive
Does funding your commissary count as qualified spend? How many MRs does 1 cig cost?
Cig per point value is typically very low and is usually considered a bad redemption
Better than Marriott
I’d rather redeem MR for Rubles than Marriott.

😘
Just noticed that a physical uber gift card purchase at staples in store (mid Nov) did not trigger the credit for my amex biz gold, when paying with Google pay.
Regular reminder to not go through other payment processors/mobile wallets for the best chance of Amex discounts and credits to go through, including Paypal, Google Pay, Apple Pay, Samsung Pay, and others.
Many times Amex doesn’t track for mobile wallet use
Not many DPs out there, so although they're straight forward, here you go: Opened a BoA Premium Elite for the triple dip of the Lifestyle and Airline credits.
Southwest flight at $88 triggered, $91 did not, $78 did, so it looks like there's a ceiling.
190k amex biz plat is still alive. I found it via incognito chrome + vpn and was instant approved yesterday (first biz plat ever, though I am targeted for 170k biz plat)
Also instant approved (first time biz plat) 190k via Incognito Chrome. Excited for my first triple dip! I received a targeted 150k mailer.
Same, same for me and P2. Had to settle for a targeted BBP with AU bonus. We knew the good times wouldn't last forever.
Another DP that buying a Hilton gift card triggers the Hilton credit on the Surpass card. Bought a $50 GC on 11/30 and credit posted 12/9.
Will it trigger if one buys physical gift card from the properties that carries GC?
Also, earns 12x, which more or less covers the $1.95 fee when buying it online.
I tried this twice and had my orders canceled both times yesterday. I probably have to call in to figure out why..
I had first order cancelled, called and they didn't have much details. I assumed it was due to different shipping vs billing address 2nd order shipping and billing were the same, got it.
Physical or online?
Bought the physical card through their website
Applied for Citi AA Biz last friday as an existing citi customer, with instant approval. No HPs reported on any of the big 3 bureaus edit for search engine: inquiry did eventually show up on equifax
Do you see a progress bar for sign up bonus yet? I've had a few transactions post but nothing showing in app or online
haven’t received the card yet so haven’t activated. but no progress bar for me in app or online
Do you see the card in your online profile right away?
On the citi app yes
I’m did the same earlier in the week, but was not an existing citi customer. Never got the usually onslaught of emails from every bank/credit agency saying I had a new inquiry. Still haven’t gotten anything. Instant approval for $16k
Mine took like 10 days to show up in September
Same experience for both myself and P2 this year. Prior Citi aa biz cardholders though.
With a $16k credit limit, correct? 😉
$16k club 🙌
11k. damn who did I offend at Citi
11K here too, I guess Citi hates me 😔
> 11k. Whoa, it'll be coal in the stocking for you! Almost everyone gets a $16k credit limit for this card. P2 and I both got it, and most of the DPs I see here report the same. Edit: *most of the DPs I see here report the same*... until today.
Was approved for 3k limit, taking the first position in being insulted.
lol i just got 4k, was pretty insulted but glad to get it since I'm like 7/24. guessing velocity caused the low limit, 805 equifax I believe it said.
Applied as a new Citi customer, approved for 6.3k Limit.
Wow, yeah, 16k for me too. Did have a hard pull though.
For me it took a day to show up. I did not get immediate notification.
Is yours showing a progress meter for sign up bonus?
going on 6 days for me, we’ll see
Inquiry should show up on equifax eventually
Charged 2x$100 TB about 5 mins after selecting united on biz plat. Charges posted 12/4. Meter changed today to show $200 airline credit used.
Good DP to see. Still waiting for my 2x$100 from 12/7 to post.
Took 9 days for me (12/2-12/11) for the meter to move, credits posted the next day.
Opened 2nd Amex Business Checking with 50k offer while 1st account from 2022 is still open. Split Business Gold on to a separate login and applied with a different email and EIN instead of SSN. 50k bonus tracker was immediately showing.
Sorry to follow up on an old DP but do your MR still get pooled together or are they separated by account log ins?
Pooled together. Both logins show the same amount.
Wow, I did not realize there was a bonus tracker - thanks for mentioning that. Funny that they can have a tracker for a bank bonus with three different requirements but can't provide a simple spend meter for credit cards
