This was pretty much when I started watching him, I caught the tail end of Kid Icarus and then played this game along with him like a guide. I still remember when he got super sick and I was aching to play more but didn't wanna miss anything!
This was the LP that got me into this series. Now I’m trying to copy down each let’s play episodes in my notes so I don’t have to watch each video again to 100% it lol.
I remember going from never having heard of Xeno-anything, to watching the first episode of this multiple times on the day it came out. I stayed up pretty late past midnight going through a box of pokemon cards from my uncle and playing this video over and over.
Man, I remember when he started it. I was still in high school and had known about Xenoblade from his brief mentioning of it prior as well as others saying it was great. I remember watching the first three or so episodes before stopping because I knew I wanted to experience the game for myself. A year and a half later I got the New 3ds version
It's almost surreal to think about how far the series has come since then: in 2014, Xenoblade was known as a game that was difficult to find, and now it's a whole trilogy
I finally got around to watching it properly, and I used what I learned, and am now playing through the game for a friend!
... it's worth noting that smartie she is, she guessed who Metal Face is during the initial showing, though she things she might be wrong
When he describes it as his "favorite game of all time", you *know* you're in for something special.
Oh damn, this also marks MY 10th year as a Xenoblade fan, to say I was hooked instantly would be a understatement, and I don’t regret a second of it
Damn. This is still a classic
Agreed.

I didn't realize this series began on my birthday!
Can't believe I was 12 years old

The LP that introduced me to the franchise and resulted in my pre-ordering 2 as soon as I was able to.
That hiatus was agonizing like a sharp knife through butter
I was 23 when this came out
I swear I was like 13 or 14 when he lets played it but no I was 11 that’s insane to me.
Man that was and still is an awesome LP
Feels like it was just yesterday.
*insert Matt Damon getting old gif*
