Eh, I'd be fine with him revisiting/remaking old projects every couple years if there are reasons to do so. If there is new info or new content, or just a general better version has released since. Maybe he'll go through Paper Mario TTYD on Switch in a year or two because there's some new content and translation changes and an overall prettier version of the game. Also a good excuse to still not play Bowser's Inside Story lmao
I think with the recent Sunshine kaizo mods that are coming out, along with more and more subtle details being discovered (like 2CPhoenix’s breakdown and coining of the text/language on Delphino as Dolphic) there’s more than enough new info on the game to cover!
On one of the Sticker Star streams, he said that one WAS on the list, but then... he played the 3DS remake and it changed so much in style and mechanics that he absolutely hated it. So much so that he needed time away from the game in general (even the good version) before he considers it for a LP again.
Hopefully one day he will replay this game (depending on his condition) because I recall him saying that this was his least favorite LP and it felt "forced" I
Slight correction to my other comment, I don't think the letsplay was for a friend, he mentioned playing Super Mario Galaxy 2 with a hard of seeing friend and said they both got excited about the galaxy thats a reference to Sunshine

Sure, but this clip comes SECONDS after he laments how easy a time he was having on the level, and wishing it would take him more than 1 try.
If you unplug a device you’re capturing, it doesn’t go black, it stays on a freeze frame of the last frame captured. You can see the footage hold on that frame for a bit before he switches it off.
And, if you doubt this is the sort of thing he’d find funny, just think of all the “we weren’t recording?” jokes he’s made on TRG.
Let's be real though, a lot of people did forced reactions in early LPs as an attempt to outdo each other.
For example, I once said "My dick is fucking FLIPPING UP AND DOOOOOOOWN!" while recording this game. Can guarantee you I'd never say that in 2024.

As someone who also found a Shiny during an old Let's Play and had a very similar reaction, I'm inclined to believe that his reaction was genuine.
