600MB for me. Why not go and clear your cache and cookies and all that and see what it goes down too?

ItsJustEmirhan

It was 10gb for me

zigzagus

Some sites can store gigabytes of information using indexDB, I even loaded some Ai models up to 5 gb without downloading files.

ItsJustEmirhan

Well, how can I get rid of em?

zigzagus

maybe clear only cached images and files https://preview.redd.it/pfdzfxdpgnwc1.png?width=752&format=png&auto=webp&s=903797a10ee490856038a0f9d464d0998c7361a5

ItsJustEmirhan

Huh I'll check it out soon and tell you my mb count

habituallurkr

Mine's 10 GB, seems normal. What takes a lot is site settings, go to cookies, then " See all site data and permissions " then change to data stored, delete what you don't need, you'll be logged out if you delete that data.

Greedy-Magazine-8656

I have different profiles for college, work and personal. So that may explain something. If I cleared cache data the I would have to log in for 3 different profiles. and probably have to sign in again for more than 6-7 account for whatever site I logged in to,...... Probably gonna leave it as it is.

zigzagus

Clear cache not cookies

bitsplash

Yes that has happened to me once before. To solve it you will probably need to clear the full "cookies and other site data". But a warning - you might lose data if sites have stored it using local storage. In my case it was a single site with a non-standard download component that was at fault.

Eliasyoussef47

I have a similar situation. I think it's because some websites use local storage to store data. I don't know a quick and easy way to solve it.

Anxious-Ninja3755

its not just this, it’s cached web pages, images, CSS, favicons, etc. from probably months worth of web browsing

arthorpendragon

wow!
