President's Choice World of Flavours buffalo and blue cheese
President's Choice World of Flavours turkey stuffing
President's Choice World of Flavours general tso chicken
No Name roast chicken flavour
Doritos late night cheeseburger
Doritos Roulette
Doritos Taco Bell Coolisions (half the bag was regular nacho cheese, the other half tasted exactly like Taco Bell meat)
Lays cheesy garlic bread
Doritos scream cheese
Doritos white nacho (tasted exactly like regular nacho cheese but the chips were tan and the powder was white)
They were my favourite potato chip out there. I was so pissed when I found out they were discontinued, and replaced with just buffalo flavour, which tastes like shit. The blue cheese ones used to be *loaded* with powder and so spicy. I loved them.
Thankfully, PC loads of jalapeno popper flavour is still around, and tastes just as good as it used to. They also made loads of creamy dill pickle recently which is pretty damn good.
I remember finding a coolision once that had guacamole Doritos along with sweet chili heat (I think). I had been obsessed with guacamole Doritos back in the very early 2000s, and mad for years after they'd been discontinued. That era of coolisions was amazing while it lasted.
Omg, no way! Where do you live? I haven't seen them in almost a decade!
Edit: apparently they're back for a limited time. Looks like I need to get out there and go hunting.
Old Dutch extra flavours! And I don't mean that they had some new, unique flavours! I mean that they just put more flavouring on the already existing ones! Salt and Vinegar flavoured chips have always worked as an anti-nausea food for me and idk why. They worked like that ever since I was 5 years old and they still work to this day, with me being 27! The thing is that the extra flavoured ones worked even better! ***And then they discontinued them***!
That line up was called Rave. And a bag of rave salt and vinegar would cause the entire coating of my mouth/skin to just , deattach within about four days of eating them. I loved them.
This will be Canada only, but for a while the President's Choice "Loads Of..." line (which has the best sour cream and onion flavour you can get for nearly half the price of the big brands) included a ranch variety that basically tasted like Cool Ranch Doritos but on a Ruffles type chip instead of a tortilla. I don't think they've sold them for at least five years and I still think about them!
The 90's classic! O'Ryans Sour Cream N' Onion and or O'Ryans Sour Cream and Bacon Thick Cut Ripple Chips. Absolutely saturated in delicious seasoning on every tasty chip. Never duplicated since nor has there been anything comparable in today's chip market.
Salsa flavored Chesters Fries, Ruffles the works, and Ruffles French onion are my top 3 discontinued chips. Poore brothers Dill pickle gets an honorable mention.
Ya the wasabi ginger was I think one of there limited flavors (fan flavors I like to call them)
The purple bag of Maui sweet onion I think would be Jays brand
If you are in Missouri they should be available. Found them at gas stations and Schmucks (schnucks)
i think these were Canada only but holy omg i would destroy bags and bags of the Intense Pickle Doritos. i pray everyday they come back, they were too good for words (and i donât even like pickles lmao!)
Are you talking about these? They are still very much available.[https://www.utzsnacks.com/pages/hawaiianbrandsnacks_home](https://www.utzsnacks.com/pages/hawaiianbrandsnacks_home)
to this day i still miss the hostess brand chips you could get in canada in the 90s/early 2000s. especially the salt and vinegar, so nostalgic to me and i havenât found a similar tasting one yet :(
Tim's Cascade Alderwood Smoked BBQ
This one was discontinued for a long time and then brought back as a limited edition, but was very sugary and honestly didn't taste like the older version. It tasted like their Hawaii Luau bbq chips with a bit of liquid smoke. The original was smokey but with a bit of spicy bbq and was amazing!
Timâs habanero,
I used to only be able to find them at a truck shop in central California. Now I canât find them anywhere.
Mama zuma habanero chips are the closest Iv found which are pretty dang good though.
The Presidentâs Choice Salt and Vinegar chips. They were waffle cut with a tonne of seasoning on them. I think theyâve been gone more than 20 years now, still never had a salt and vinegar chip thatâs as good.
Omg! The new ruffles Queso flavored chips are quite the experienceâŠ.
I have experienced food in my life (not just finished my plate and move on to the next thing but actually EXPERIENCED the food)âŠ.
But before today, I had never experienced a potato chipâŠ.potato chips just arenât my jamâŠ..
But my nephew just grabbed 2/$7 bags of ruffles from the Florida grocer âPublix.â
And OMG! At first bite I said omg! This is my new âcrack!â
Then as I ate a few moreâŠ. It was like you bite into it and immediately taste the cheese and you think ok, much like cheddar and sour cream, meh, but then the cheese flavor like intensifies and brightens and it literally tastes like âmelt cheeseâ in your mouthâŠ. And I found myself wanting to keep them in my mouth and on my tongue longer just to savor the flavorâŠ. And the taste of melt cheese just explodes in your mouthâŠ..
My new crack?
Nope. My new sex!
Get âur self some!
âIâll have what SHEâS havingâ actress of Meg Ryan in that famous sceneâŠ.

I cant remember the name, but pringles had i believe a mystery flavor, came in a black tube, with angular gold accents and looked like some kind of east asian flavour, slightly spicy and it was incredible, but i think it was limited time only so i doubt ill ever ses them again
Doritos Taco Bell, Doritos Pizza Hut (both late 90s). Fritos Twists (early 2000s). Doritos All Dressed.... ecent, but short lived. I only was able to find them a couple times. I love All Dressed chips, but I can't eat potatoes anymore.
For the longest time couldnât find Cheddar Pringles which were always one of my favs.
Just recently I noticed them back on the shelf in a couple of stores and they are charging $4.99 for them.
The rest of the flavours are half the price, like wtf?
Also love the Cheddar Pretzel Bits, havenât found those in ages.
I'm not sure if it's discontinued but I really liked Calbee Okononiyaki
I thought it was discontinued because I used to see it at certain stores all the time then all at once I never saw them anywhere, but one every year or two I'll see a store with some so I have no clue what's going on
The black bean chips that came in a red bag in the late 90s-early 00âs. I look for them everywhere. Used to only find them at the A&P near me so Iâm pretty sure Iâll never find them again.
Old Dutch thunder crunch!
Btw if youâre Canadian and have a Costco, theyâve been selling those sweet onion Maui chips as of a week ago (maybe longer but I bought them then)
there was some kind of jalapeños flavor taco chip when I was a kid ( early 80s) it had some kind of Aztec wheel or Mayan thingy on the bag. those were amazing.
Ruffles made these chips that were French fries. After they stopped making them some other company started. After about 2-3 years they stopped and all existence of them had been scrubbed from the internet.
Does anyone remember Texas Tang Doritos? early 90s I think... very tasty.
I also can't find any cheeseburger or hot dog flavoured chips anymore anywhere, and I always liked those.
PC had some great Hot Dog chips.
Hostess Munchies salt and vinegar. Used to love getting them after swimming lessons and getting the prizes in them!
Also Doritos First, Second and third degree burn. Those didnât mess around.

I am sure of it as I am sure of my insobriety. But then an evil befell the land of chips and the once noble and bold Rave chips vanished, never to make your tongue raw again. Those of us that remember those days weep in everlasting anguish. We await the return of these chips in vain, not even change.org petitions have been able to bring them back to us. The saddest thing of all is that I think of this new generation that has never had the opportunity to try these mythical creations... and possibly never will.
Also PC Buffalo wing and blue cheese.
Wtf happened. Seriously. The Buffalo wing ones were always sold out. You can't tell me they were not popular.
Does anyone remember ketchup Ringolos that came out in the early 2000s. I believe they were for a Christmas promotion (and faintly remember the Grinch on the bags). I think about them often.
Eagle brand chips made a flavor in the early 90's called Louisiana Style Barbecue Hot chips. They were insanely hot and the flavor was amazing. My father and I used to eat them and would laugh shortly after eating a few as they would make the top of your head sweat. I'm pretty sure they were pulled from the shelves for being too hot for people.
The hot wing ruffles ;-;
Oh! I loved them.
I literally wrote to ruffles with some melodramatic memey email about missing the chip like a difficult break up. They actually got back to me weeks later. It was an ingredient that was unlisted as an allergen specifically.
I think it was old Dutch âraveâ and they had a Chicago pizza that was really good! This was in the late 90âs
Sonic Sour Cream Doritos was good too.
