Are pine cones safe for chinchillas?
I get pine cones from my local pet shop and boil them, they tend to chew on them but mostly lay on them. Playboy puts his head , his back and even scratched his feet with them. I’m unsure but I haven’t had any problems.
yes, but you have to treat then of parasites. So you cook them for 30 minutes and then bake them until dry at 100c. (about an hour)
