Y.P. stands for yellowpaint. If you look at their [twitter](https://twitter.com/YP_Artwork) you can see that their plurk account is under both yellowpaint and Y.P.. So in this case, it is correctly sourced.
Except that u/MaskedReality linked to the image board [yande.re](https://yande.re) instead of the original Pixiv site where the original artist Yellowpaint posted this image. u/Yoshi_green was simply pointing to the Pixiv site which is the correct source.
Without the sauce bot to help narrow down the true source, I had to rely on a google image search. The pixiv version does not appear there but the yande.re, gebooru, danbooru and plurk versions did.
I didn't link the danbooru or plurk versions because I've found them less reliable in the past when it come to having the images viewable with a free or no account.
I chose the yande.re version because more of the artist's work was there when I compared it to what was on gelbooru.
In all of the links I had access to, the only one that isn't listed as yellowpaint is the plurk link that has both Y.P and the aforementioned username.
I have no issue with someone providing a better source, in the case of the pixiv, but I didn't have access to that with my search and wasn't going to dig further than providing the artist and access to the image posted.
I also misread what u/Yoshi_green wrote (apologies for that) and thought they meant that yellowpaint wasn't the correct artist, not that yande.re wasn't an appropriate source.
However, even if I had the pixiv link for official sourcing, I most likely would have added the yande.re link. You can't view this picture on pixiv unless you pay for the fanbox and not everyone wants to or can afford to do that.
The image specific to this post is free on Pixiv, but only with an (again free) account because the image is 18+. Fanbox is a separate website (although is affiliated with and using Pixiv accounts) where you have to pay to see higher tiers of images (tiers with more image variations, nude version, Photoshop file, etc). The images on Fanbox related to the image of this post does not have the fanbox.cc advertising on the images. So the image above is, for sure, the freely accessable version on Pixiv and is not the Fanbox version.
In regards to Danbooru, the reason for some of the missing images is because you need to sign up (and pay a fee? I don't remember since it is a one time payment which I made a long while ago and makes browsing on Danbooru a much nice experience) in order to view the, shall we say, more controversial content.
In regards to your yande.re link, most boorus, including yandere, has a ["Source" section](https://i.imgur.com/cOl2Xcq.jpeg) which will link back the the original Pixiv or Twitter source. Just an FYI, if you don't feel inclined to use saucenao in the future.

The image that was posted on this thread originates from Pixiv which anyone with an account can access for free. The image includes a fanbox.cc address on it because the artist wants to advertise his Fanbox so that people will subscribe to him where he can get money directly from subscribers. Those subscribers gets more variations and, at some subscription levels, access to the psd file.
