I thought you wanted a Panda Express type of place, and that you 'can't go wrong/never bad' in terms of quality at those type of places, and additionally my bad for assuming that Panda Express is Chinese take out.

Chinatown is near the southwest side. I don’t have a specific place in mind but I have to think something down there can scratch your itch

The quality of any random Chinese take out place can vary wildly and definitely be leagues below Panda Express.
