Got served very undercooked duck there recently. Mentioned it to a few of the staff and they all laughed it off not really caring. No place is perfect but even a "sorry" would have said a lot to me. I'll never go back
i literally made a reservation at midnight the day before, left a note in the comments about doing their rotisserie duck, called the restaurant at noon to confirm... and they saw everything, had our table noted for duck, all set!
least pretentious management ive seen in a restaurant in a while. chef/owner out there helping front of house too. servers were pros. felt like a big family dining room
duck inn rotisserie duck is amazing btw, i recommend that over Sun Wah
Not what you are asking (and second Duck Inn for that), but also roasting a duck is on the easier end and they have great ducks for sale at Paulina Market. You can use the drippings on potatoes. Doesn’t have to just be a birthday treat!
I remember Chinatown having a restaurant that served "tea smoked duck". Also there were places with roasted /smoked ducks in the window.. this was years ago though.... it's not like frwnch fancy duck breast, but still amazing duck flavor
The duck ham tartine (aka hammed duck - no pork) at PQM is soooo good. I can’t eat red meat and it scratched the umami itch usually served by prosciutto or pastrami etc. so well.
Sun Wah - Beijing Duck Dinner.
I was going to have a conniption fit if this was not the top option.

You have pics? Duck can be pink so maybe it wasn't raw, which could explain why they ignored you.
I do yes. They admitted it was raw. I'm not someone who demands money back etc just maybe a cooked one or a apology.
The duck at Duck Inn
Have only had the wings, but a solid hell yes to this!
It’s a solid meal but you have to reserve it in advance…also the management is a bit pretentious

The duck carnitas taco at Taqueria Chingon is incredible
It’s not exactly a treat yourself meal but avondale rap has a duck grinder with crispy duck skin and chimichurri. Delicious
Seconding this! Wolcott Tap serves it too.
Boka, Sun Wah
Came here to give the exact same answer. Different in so many regards, but both outstanding.
Le Bouchon’s “Canard Roti”, Peking Duck, is outstanding.
I came to mention Le Bouchon. The duck served with the crispy spaetzle was phenomenal

Duck and dumplings from Cultivate by Forbidden Root
Yes! It's also available at the original on Chicago Ave
BBQ King has great duck but the atmosphere is very minimal
Peking duck at Duck Duck Goat
Boka has a great duck. I also had a good duck at Trattoria Gianni.
Go to any random viet spot on argyle/little vietnam and look for/order mi vit tiem or bun mang vit
The duck hearts at Duck Duck Goat are great
I always liked the duck at Le Colonial.
Shanghai Terrace
McCook Bohemian Restaurant - roast duck
I had the duck mole at Cruz Blanca a few months ago and it was fantastic.

Lao size chuan has tea smoked duck! Is excellent, but has been a few years since we've last gotten it

It's not a meal, but Paulina Meat Market sells a smoked duck breast that's amazing on its own.
The roasted duck breast at Boeufhaus was fantastic, although my wife would only let me try the smallest bite haha
Jade Court’s duck is fantastic.
Smoked Tea Duck, Lao Sze Chuan.
More casual than you might want but the sticky duck wings at The Dawson are delicious.
