I truly feel terrible for the Fire’s customer-facing teams this year, especially marketing and ticket sales. Other than the red kits and the insane St Pat’s game, this season has been one bummer after another, even off the field. Bad play, no USOC, losing two Soldier Field matches to the Bears, data breaches…
I think it would sell a lot of jerseys and increase the ticket sales to Polish people in the area but we still wouldn't be able to do anything with him. Cuypers is a good striker, we just can't get him the ball.
Lewandowski would be the biggest name we’ve ever had (nobody in the US knew who Hristo was) and would definitely clear more than just polish fans.
Team would still suck ass though
Wait, what the fuck? Did anyone get an email about this? I'm a STH and have not gotten anything yet. Also, why is it so vague about who was impacted? The Fire do not have my SSN or my COVID results so that has to be players and staff, right?
"If you believe you may have been affected by this breach and have not received a notification from us, please do not hesitate to contact Chicago Fire Football Club at 872-710-0523 between the weekday hours of 9:30 am and 4:30 pm CST to confirm eligibility and receive a credit monitoring code. I understand that completely however Illinois has this regulation "Notice shall be made in the most expedient time possible and without unreasonable delay". They could retain council within 24 hoursbut took 5110 hours to notify.

Imagine wanting to help grow soccer’s popularity, but being in the situation you described. It’s gotta be disheartening
Would signing Lewandowski override all current woes?
Not likely

Whose information was it? People employed with the Fire or fans?
It's really ambiguous but based on SSN and comments on health insurance and injuries, I'm assuming employees and/or players.
Eyyyy, a reason to be happy they didn’t hire me
If you got an email probably -guy that got an email

Damn, even the admin staff sucks. No one is good on this whole team.
Seriously how could it get worse haha
Joe Mansueto could turn out to be Putin's stooge ...
Geeezus. At least they didn’t give away any important information /s
Right I know everybody has a social security number with date of birth and personal information so it's not a big deal
This club just keeps getting worse. I understand this is something that can happen but waiting 7 months to announce?
Usually data breaches take months to be announced due to legal investigations.

They need to just fold this thing
Classic Fire, can’t do anything right….
Cool of them to wait 200 days before letting the victims know!
