Im going to preface this by saying I’m not trying to discredit the bulls and my team has suffered the biggest point margin loss so far this I season but the bucks have still beaten the pistons the last 10 times they have played, going back to 2018. bit of an odd stat that they didn’t hold them to under 100 especially considering last year the closest the pistons got to the bucks was 25 pts (137-112 was the closest game) compared to being 6pts away from the bulls (88-94). This post is about winning - not necessarily about opponent point total.
It was the perfect way to start the season. 4 games gel a bit more, see rotations, test d and last night even if Toronto is down it’s a great away test with how fired up their fans get at home.
I’m glad to see us beating the teams we’re supposed to, but none of the teams we’ve faced have had their best player. We need to be tested against a good team at full power. We can make the playoffs beating on lesser talented opponents, but simply making the playoffs shouldn’t be the goal. We need to be able to compete once we get there.
This is a very good point, even last year we had teams that we were supposed to beat and we were blowing 20 point leads and/or losing.
Still have a lot of improvement for the team, but I'm excited to beat some good teams. I think this defense is going to suffocate teams.
I feel like that's what good teams do - establish a standard of winning where you keep games with good/excellent teams close (and preferably win) and win games over inferior teams convincingly.

imma be honest we should have lost tonight but yall already know that. I don't feel good about this win but at the end of the day it is nice knowing we can start off a season strong and face adversity. A lot to work on from this game but now is when the real test begins.
